This safari with Africa Barefoot Safaris was truly the adventure of a lifetime.”
5/5

Our 4-day trip to Masai Mara and Nairobi was nothing short of magical! From the very start, everything was planned with such care that we could simply enjoy every moment.

At the Mara, our guide Moris was exceptional — not only deeply knowledgeable about the flora and the Big 5, but also someone who knew exactly how to make each game drive special. With his guidance, we were lucky enough to witness the Great Migration in action, complete with a lion hunt, and even spotted a leopard — moments that felt straight out of a wildlife documentary!

The stay at Olive Bush Camp added to the magic. Waking up in the heart of the savannah, enjoying a bush breakfast under the wide African sky, and returning to such warm hospitality every evening made the trip even more memorable. Being vegetarians, we were initially concerned about food, but to our delight everything was thoughtfully prepared and well taken care of.

A heartfelt thanks to Prajwal from Africa Barefoot Safaris for curating the perfect package for us and ensuring every little detail was smooth and stress-free. This was our very first African safari, and it has truly given us memories for a lifetime.

Highly recommend Africa Barefoot Safaris for anyone dreaming of a real, soulful safari experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kenya Safari Review – A Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

I recently returned from a Kenya safari, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

🦁 Wildlife and Game Drives

The game drives were spectacular. We visited the Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Lake Nakuru, and each offered something unique. The Big Five were all there – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos – along with countless giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and exotic birds. Our guide Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable and had a deep respect for the animals and environment.

We could only the see migration across the river because Patrick made it happen.

🌄 Scenery and Landscapes

Kenya’s landscapes are breathtaking. The wide open plains of the Mara during the Great Migration felt like something out of a documentary. Mount Kilimanjaro looming over Amboseli was another unforgettable sight.

Masai mara during the rains in the evening was also a spectacular sight.

🛖 Accommodation and Hospitality

We stayed in a mix of luxury tented camps and lodges. All were comfortable, clean, and beautifully integrated into the environment. Waking up to the sounds of nature – birds chirping and distant roars – was magical. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Kenyan hospitality is second to none.

🌍 Cultural Experience

Meeting the Maasai tribe people was a highlight. It added such depth and perspective to the trip, reminding us that this isn’t just a tourist destination – it’s home to real communities.

📸 Photography Opportunities

Whether you’re a pro or just using your phone, the photographic opportunities are endless. Sunsets, animals in action, dramatic skies, and vibrant people – every moment was worth capturing.

Thanks Africa Barefoot for planning this wonderful trip for us.
