Wonderful Bush Experience
Our field guide and tracker were a great combination. We saw elephants, rhino, lions 3 times, and 3 leopards. I did not feel that the drives were set-up - the leopard sightings in particular were all unexpected as we were looking for other subjects. As wildlife photographers we want to photograph animals - we don't enjoy driving around on dusty roads for hours in the hope of maybe seeing something. find animals then they are 'useless' but if they find too many subjects then it's 'canned'. Makalali you have a winning formula and we are most satisfied with our experience!

A rejuvenation of the mind, body and spirit through a connection with nature
Excellent widlife, warm weather and soul food. Great to feel the fresh air as it blows through your hair and across your face on an open game vehicle. The smells and sounds of the bush excite you to the core. Viewing close up sightngs of the largest land animals like Giraffe and Elephant can leave on feeling humble and speach less. This should be on evry persons Bucket list! And I will be back.............

incredible sensations, unforgettable !
I stayed a week in makalali private game reserve, and do not forget all the wild animals, smells and atmosphere that I have found.I have one desire, to go back.
