If you really want to reach Uhure peak you have to book Genes Adventures! Genes support and advised our team of 10 (from 20 tot 66 years old) so professional that we all reached to the top on 4 September 2025 at 5895m. Genes cares for your health, he is your coach and in charge of everything. His cooking team serves good food and you get a mat in your tent for more comfort. Genes and his dream team will bring you to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Yesterday we wrapped up our week in Tanzania, with the last few days spent in the Serengeti. It was truly an unforgettable holiday.
Together with our family and guided by Genes and Swazy, we spent days on game drives. Swazy always managed to get us incredibly close to the animals — it was absolutely breathtaking! 🤩
Genes is such a warm and friendly man; he was with us the entire week as our personal guide, and from the very first moment, it felt completely natural and comfortable.
This was our second trip to Africa, and we can only hope to return again someday.
The people, the nature, the wildlife… it has captivated me all over again! 😍

We spent nine amazing days with Genes Adventure, and from the moment we were picked up at the airport, we felt incredibly welcome. Genes and Swazi immediately put us at ease — they are both warm, genuine, and full of positive energy.
Everything was done in consultation, and Genes never created false expectations, which we truly appreciated. Their knowledge, humor, and openness made it easy to connect, and we quickly felt like part of the family.
We loved that they often joined us at the table — it made the evenings extra special, as we could share stories and reflect on the day together.
These nine days were everything we could have wished for and more. We have nothing but praise for Genes and Swazi — so kind, so helpful, and so committed to making our trip unforgettable. Thanks to them, we enjoyed a carefree, once-in-a-lifetime holiday.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was truly an unforgettable experience — one I will never forget. What made the trip even more special was the incredible team.
From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The communication was great, I immediately felt I was in good hands. Genes is not just professional and reliable — they genuinely care about their clients.
The staff was amazing. The guides were knowledgeable, supportive, and always made sure we felt safe. They checked on us daily, paced the climb perfectly, and kept the energy positive even during the toughest parts. The porters and cooks were just as impressive — so hardworking, kind, and always smiling. The food was delicious and I was so inpressed what they can make so high up in the mountains in short time and for so Many people.. unbelievable! But the entire team made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of every day.
Even when the altitude and terrain got tough, I always felt secure thanks to their experience and attention. Their professionalism gave me the confidence to keep going, and ultimately, I reached the summit feeling strong, safe, and incredibly proud.

Tanzania at it’s best
Genes Adventures help us organise a Safari trip in Nothern Tanzania and the climb of Mt Kilimanjaro.
The planing was done taking in account all our wish and constraints (we are a family of 5 with children). the reality exceeded all our expectations:
- full service during all the trip
- Great guides, both during the safari and for the climb
- we had a spare day and Genes helped us with a program « a la carte » (2 persons did one additional safari, the others stayed in town for craft sightseeing)
- we went all five on top of the Kilimanjaro with a warm and friendly crew
Great vacation, we will remember Tanzania. We warmly recommend Genes and his team.

A beautiful experience with amazing and kind people!!!
The team was very kind and generous with our group. They were talkative during the trek and put in a great effort to make connections with us and create a happy environment. The service was also AMAZING from carrying our bags, cooking us food, making sure we stayed healthy and treating the group with kindness. They were also extremely educated and whenever we had questions they were quick to answer them! Overall the trip was the most memorable and cherished trek I’ve been on. Thoughtful, friendly and experienced tour operator
I had a great experience with Genes and his team! The communication was great, the guides were going at an appropriate pace, but were gently pushing our limits when needed. They were super friendly and knowledgeable, telling us stories about the mountain and the surroundings, and we quickly became friends, sharing stories and playing games. The rest of the team catered to all our needs, so I felt very comfortable and safe. I would really recommend sleeping in the tents instead of the huts, because it can get crowded in some locations. The costs were very transparent and Genes shared with his team exactly what they will earn (this is different with other agencies who keep the tips secret). This was an unforgettable experience for me and I owe it in no small part to our experienced guides! I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

Outstanding Experience with Genes Adventure Company
Genes Adventure Company is an excellent, locally-run operation that exceeded our expectations. My partner and I signed up for the 8-day Lemosho Route climb followed by a 4-day safari—and from start to finish, Genes Adventures provided outstanding service and timely, clear communication.
Our Kilimanjaro climb was led by Genes and Joseph, both of whom were knowledgeable, friendly, and highly professional. Genes, in particular, was exceptional. If you listen to their guidance and follow their pace, they will absolutely help you reach the Roof of Africa. The entire mountain crew—including the cook and porters—were fantastic: always sensitive to our needs, attentive, and eager to go above and beyond.
Our 4-day safari was equally impressive, led by a superb guide with an eagle eye for wildlife. Time and again, he spotted animals we never would have seen on our own. His experience and passion for the job were obvious and added so much value to our trip.
Overall, Genes Adventure Company delivered a top-notch experience. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania.
