Personalized Private Safari in Uganda & Kenya with All in Africa Safaris
We booked an 11-day private safari in Uganda and Kenya with All in Africa Safaris, and it was the trip of a lifetime. From chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, to gorilla trekking in Bwindi, to a hot air balloon safari in the Masai Mara during the Great Migration, every detail was perfectly arranged. Nicholas and his team customized a fly-in safari itinerary that gave us more time in the parks and less time driving, with excellent guides, comfortable lodges, and unforgettable cultural experiences. If you’re looking for the best tailor-made safari company in Uganda and Kenya, we highly recommend All in Africa Safaris.
My wife and I just returned from an 11-day private safari in Uganda and Kenya with All in Africa Safaris, and it was truly the safari of a lifetime. Nicholas, the owner, built a customized safari itinerary around our wishes. This wasn’t a cookie-cutter group trip — it was a tailor-made safari that gave us maximum time with wildlife and cultural experiences.
We chose fly-in safaris in Uganda instead of long road transfers, which saved hours of driving and let us enjoy more time in the parks. Every detail was handled flawlessly, from the flights to the lodges to the game drives.
Uganda Safari Highlights
* Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park – we were surrounded by chimps within minutes of arriving.
* Queen Elizabeth National Park safari – lions, elephants, hippos, crocs, and a fun boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.
* Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – standing just feet away from a 16-member gorilla family was an unforgettable experience.
* Visiting the Batwa tribe and even being welcomed at a local wedding added an incredible cultural dimension.
Kenya Safari Highlights
* Masai Mara safari – we witnessed the Great Migration, cheetahs, lions, and rhinos. Our hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara at sunrise for our 30th anniversary was magical.
* Lake Nakuru safari – we saw white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and flamingos.
* A cultural visit to Kibera in Nairobi gave us a deeper appreciation for Kenya’s communities beyond the wildlife.
Lodges
We especially loved Turaco Treetops (Kibale), Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Bwindi), and The Rain Eco Lodge in Entebbe. The Sopa Lodges in Kenya were fine but busier and more crowded.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for the best safari company in Uganda and Kenya, choose All in Africa Safaris. From gorilla trekking in Bwindi to a hot air balloon safari in the Masai Mara, every part of this trip exceeded our expectations. The guides were outstanding, the lodges were comfortable, and the cultural experiences made it a truly personalized safari adventure.
We came home with memories that will last a lifetime — and got far more value than we ever imagined.

Very knowledgeable
Tour operator communicated well with other operators for sightings. Was hoping to see Lions but was disappointed that did not see any. Most animals were in the bush difficult to see.

Reply from All In Africa Safaris
Posted on Sep 12, 2025Sorry, dear Shamila, whenever it rains heavily, most animals hide, especially cats. Trust me, next time we shall organise a predator/cats tracking experience, which is legally allowed by the laws of Uganda to search for predators, i.e., leopards, Lions, etc. This is always 100% guaranteed to see them. We apologise for that, Don.

Joseph was so knowledgeable, genuine and kind.
An Unforgettable 10-Day Safari Experience in Uganda!
I recently returned from a 10-day private tour in Uganda with All In African Safari’s, and I can’t recommend this company enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, well-organized, and truly unforgettable.
The itinerary was packed with incredible destinations, including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and the stunning Lake Bunyonyi. I was fortunate to see many of the Big Five, go gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, embark on multiple hikes and boat rides, and enjoy meaningful interactions with locals along the way.
The accommodations throughout the journey were clean, comfortable, and quite charming. Every lodge felt welcoming, with friendly staff and exceptional service. All meals were included, and the food exceeded my expectations — delicious, fresh, and full of local flavour.
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and supported the entire time. My guide Joseph, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Uganda’s wildlife, culture, and landscapes, but also a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. His presence made the trip even more enjoyable, and I always felt well taken care of.
If you’re considering a trip to Uganda, I wholeheartedly recommend All In African Safari’s. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and commitment to creating a meaningful travel experience are second to none.
James was a terrific tour operator.

Amazing! These guys are pros at service and experince
This was one of the coolest experiences we’ve had after traveling 43 countries. If you want to see a part of nature and the planet that most will never do while having the opportunity to connect with gorillas in their natural habitat, then you’re going to want to work with All In Africa Safaris.
We did a 3 day fly in tour since we were in the middle tight on time after a few weeks in Kenya that included short haul flights, lodging, meals and of course, both gorilla trekking and the chimpanzee trekking too. Both were special experiences in their own way and I can’t recommend it enough.
Be aware that the travel within Uganda will be bumpy to say the least. We did it the “easy” way taking safarlink flights within each day, which still included 2-4 hours of drives from lodges, parks etc. most people do the standard route which has drives that can last 10+ hours at a time. Definitely glad we did the full fly-in package with these guys, I would’ve regretted doing the standard long drives, especially since we were tight on time. This will probably 2x your cost but if you have the budget for the fly in option and/or are tight on time, you won’t regret it.
This shouldn’t be a reason to NOT do the gorillas and chimps in Uganda - I just want to be clear it’s not going to be like going to the beach at a resort in Cancun, Mexico :)
It was also super convenient having everything taken care of - we more or less just had to show up and wake up on time - no planning or organizing anything, just pure enjoyment with our time and experience

Amazing - managed to get us chimpanzee trek permits when nobody else could
Great company who managed to get us chimpanzee permits when everyone else said they couldn't! I contacted maybe 12 different companies and they all said the permits had gone, so it was a real surprise when All In Africa managed to get some. I was nervous at first, but didn't need to be. They even shared the contact details of the Nyungwe Forest manager with me and I checked it was all set.
Brilliant service, great prices.
Highly reccomended.

I came to create content, and Nicholas made it his top priority to ensure I had everything I needed—from reliable guides to safe, seamless logistics. Despite it being low season, I had amazing wildlife viewings and felt like royalty the entire time. Every request I made was granted without hesitation.
