Our unforgettable Tanzania trip with RO Scavenger safaris was absolutely worthwhile

From the moment we decided to travel, through countless discussions, to the finalization of our itinerary, Silas was patient, attentive, and extremely helpful. He revised our itinerary more than 10 times and always tried his best to meet our needs. Once confirmed, he carefully booked and double-checked every hotel for each day, giving us complete peace of mind. The entire 10-day safari and accommodation arrangements were flawless, and great attention was paid to service quality.

With 10 years of professional experience, he is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. More importantly, he truly loves animals and respects nature, which perfectly matches our values on wildlife protection. He strictly followed all safari rules and never disturbed the animals, allowing us to enjoy nature comfortably and safely.
Lyzer knows the habits of many kinds of wild animals and patiently taught us so much about nature and wildlife along the way. This African trip was not easy: we spent nearly 50 hours traveling round‑trip, and we almost got stranded at Doha Airport due to regional tensions on our way back. ALL IN ALL, AN EXCELLENT SAFARI THAT EXCEEDED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS
Our Safari ( 5 days through Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) was simply WONDERFUL - a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We saw an incredible number of animals, quickly ticking off the "big five" and "ugly five", and every day offered new highlights.
The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, so diverse, wild and yet peaceful and calming.
The entire trip was PERFECTLY ORGANISED from the very first moment. From the initial quote, correspondence to the night-time pick-up at the airport, the choice of accommodation and the farewell on the last evening, we felt we were in the best of hands. ( Thanks to Robert and Silas)

He was always competent, helpful, friendly, patient attentive and cheerful. He told us a lot about wildlife, nature and culture and no question went unanswered. He made us feel safe and well looked after.

A journey full of surprises
It was a very fulfilling trip, there was nothing to worry about throughout, and the itinerary was very well organized. The guide HERIEL has excellent eyesight and aesthetics. He was able to find all the animals we were hoping to see and is also very good at identifying birds, so those who enjoy birdwatching can choose this guide. He could also spot very beautiful scenery and guided us in taking photos. The company said they are expanding into the Chinese market, so everyone can feel confident in choosing them.

Perfect safari trip!
We had an amazing safari experience and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The itinerary was thoughtfully arranged and perfectly suited to what we were looking for.
Our guide was outstanding — knowledgeable, experienced, and incredibly attentive throughout the trip. He was excellent at spotting wildlife and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. We saw an incredible variety of animals and truly felt immersed in the beauty of Tanzania.

Best Guide
Silas was responsive and gave an itemised quote. While other operators only included 4 star hotels for our budget, Silas offered a 5 star hotel for 2 nights.
Shetrack was patient when my friend's flight was 6hrs delayed. He drove me around the towns nearby for a quick look. Bonus point, he's learning Chinese.
Our guide Kevin was very knowledgable, friendly and a bit shy, which was what I asked for. I didn't want someone too talkative or pushy. He cleaned the vehicle every night after game drive. And he's a good photographer.

Very fun 9-day trip to Safari with Anderson
I went on a 9-day private solo tour to Safari with Ro Scanvenger in Feb 2026. They responded very fast with reasonable itinerary and clear breakdown of cost. The camps in Serengeti and Ndutu were excellent and I could hear wildbeasts chewing grass outside my tent at night, and I even saw a giraffe near the camp. Bed, hot water and food were all really good.
My tour guide Anderson is passionate, very experienced and professional. He has a lot of guide friends on the Safari and can easily find animals. Together we met a huge group of elephants (hundreds), lions sleeping on the tree, hunting cheetah mom, cheetah babies who were just born and wildbeast giving birth, and many many more... It was very fun going with Anderson on the Safari! I highly recommend Anderson to everyone visiting Safari.

We had great experience with the ageny and our guide Edward
We contacted multiple agencies and settled with RO because of the combination of reasonable price and good communication (special shout out to Silas). I'm pleased to say that they lived up to our expectations and went beyond it on multiple occasions to give us a safari experience we treasured much. Our driver and guide Edward is a disciplined guy who always keep the car tidy and a professional who knows what his doing when looking for animals. For gaming drives, having the right guide really makes all the difference and for us Edward is the guy. For multiple times, we were the first to spot lion/cheeta/leopard because of Edward. And when others share locations where animals can be found, he is quick to get there. He also accommodated us for early start of the day to have the best chance of seeing the big cats and drived us for long hours to help us capture as much as possible. It is also a very heart warming surprise that the director Robert prepared us a gift for our honeymoon. So all in all, I would sincerely recommend RO's service to travelers interested in safari. We had a great time.

If you ever find yourself planning a trip to Tanzania, I cannot recommend Ro Scavenger Safaris and our guide Fredy highly enough.
He wasn’t just a guide—he was a translator of the wild. While other vehicles chased every sighting, he taught us when to stay and when to leave, when to watch and when to look away. He didn’t just name animals; he helped us understand what they were doing, feeling, living.
He opened a book to show us a bird, then closed it to tell us why the lion needed its solitude. He turned the car around when the crowd pressed too close, and waited an hour for a pair of lions who never showed—because, as he said, “It’s not about how many you see. It’s about what they’re living through.”
If you want someone who sees the wildlife not as a checklist, but as a story—book with them. You’ll leave with more than photos. You’ll leave with a different way of seeing the world.
