Very professional and responsible team.
I want to say a big thank you to Ethio Top Land Tours for our tour to the Danakil Depression.
We had an accident during the tour, and from my experience traveling to 100 countries, operators can react very differently in such situations. Ethio Top Land Tours behaved professionally and did everything they could to help and solve the problem.
I especially want to mention Getachew, who was always in touch and also helped us book the tour at the last minute (literally the evening before the tour), because due to the situation in the Middle East we weren’t sure if we would even make it to Ethiopia.
Also, the guide Robel — unfortunately he left after the first day, but he made a great impression on day one. His English is excellent, and if you get him as your guide, you’ll be very lucky 🙂
And of course the driver Mikki — he drove for about 9 hours at night to help us handle the situation and took us to the hospital. From my experience traveling in a convoy, he seemed like the most competent driver, and he was also the only one who spoke English.

The best choice to visit Ethiopia
We (me and my girlfriend) can only say that we had the best experience. Our expectations were surpassed. Our guide tours were taking care of us every minute, and so gentle all the time, they took care of every detail to make sure our experience was the best, and made us feel as a family. This 15-day journey across Ethiopia was an unforgettable experience.
Our driver and guide were not only professional but also incredibly thoughtful and caring. Road conditions were often difficult and challenging, but our driver was extremely skilled, steady, and reliable, making us feel safe at all times.

Excellent experience and friendship.
We had a 15 day tour with Ethio Top Land Tours, travelling from the north through Lalibela, to the Danekil Depression, to the volcano and Sulphur fields. Then to the south to see the different tribes and wildlife at Lake Chamo.
We thank Lamesgn and his team for the impeccable arrangements, hospitality and care they showed us. The trip was definitely not the usual path, with the special open air camping, campfire, staying with the Hamar tribe, all such special experience for us.
Like the guides and drivers are saying, we came as clients and leave as family! Will definitely return for our next adventures!! Go Ethio Go 👏👏
