They pick up us on time and we enjoyed a wonderful safari day. They included other interesting activities so you could enjoy a film day.

To be honest, it was a very worthwhile trip. It was like an adventure that I'll never forget, and I would definitely take it again when I have the time.

4.5 out of 5 stars. Overall, good experience. Recommended.
5/5

The entire trip is amazing, and we watched many beautiful animals in many national parks. David is very supportive before and during the trip. Whenever something happens in the trip, we can communicate with him to resolve it. This makes our trip has a better and joyful experience. The guide in Tanzania, Godfey, is super professional. He is very patient and shared interesting knowledge about animals and cultures. We can feel his passion on this job. As we are bird watchers, he stops the vehicle if we spot some interesting birds, and he searches for the field guide to show us what kind of bird it is. He also drives very safely during the entire trip in Tanzania. We really appreciate it. We believe he is one of the best guides.

I also would like to suggest few points that can be improved in the future, and I believe the agency is proactive to take these suggestions seriously to make the trip even better: (i) To prevent inconsistent understanding for the arrangements, provide more details in the itinerary before the trip. Clients may have different understanding on the "group trip", for example, transportation arrangements between two points and how the schedule adjusts accordingly. (ii) Appropriate accommodation options: We understand the group trip needs to coordinate with different travelers. An upgraded hotel we chose is far from the other one for other travelers, which makes everyone’s schedule not easy to be coordinated. Perhaps, limiting the upgraded accommodation options to ensure they are in the proper distance can resolve it. Or, ask the clients if they want to stay longer or shorter in their accommodation. For example, we would like to stay in our upgraded hotel with a longer duration, but we need to wake up early because we need to drive to the other accommodation for other travelers in the same group. If more details can be provided before the trip, we may be able to coordinate it better. (iii) One guide is unprofessional: The contracted guide in Kenya we met is an unsafe driver, who takes over the car even the opposite lane is not clearly visible. He does not elaborate much during safari and has some unprofessional behaviors. Fortunately, he has been dismissed to be the guide, so no worry about this point for the future clients.

In summary, I recommend this safari agency as they provide a good and comforable experience for us, and they can resolve the problems during the trip with communications.

A tour operator you can trust. Thanks David
5/5

David and his crew were attentive to our needs at all times, responding very quickly to our questions and concerns. He handled all our requests promptly and professionally. The safari was excellent, Kenia & Tanzania, and we were lucky to see many animals thanks to the skill of the profesional drivers, who were very good. We stayed in budget camps, where the value for money was fair. If you’re unsure which operator to choose, you can feel confident choosing David

Great sightings across major national parks
5/5

For a budget trip, I really liked the itinerary across Kenya and Tanzania.
As a female solo traveller, all my concerns were addressed and I felt really safe and enjoyed the trip to the fullest.
The stays were comfortable for what I was paying, and the sightings were mind blowing! We saw a lot of lions, cheetahs, even leopards (which is very rare), millions of herbivores, and a lot of birds too!
Will highly suggest Pedaso Safaris for your Kenya/Tanzania trip.

a very attentive and personalized service
5/5

David's service was impeccable; he was always helpful and readily available to answer all our questions before and during the trip. He arranged a safari trip for us in Kenya and Tanzania, and we saw so many animals thanks to our excellent drivers. The budget can also be adjusted; we were on a low budget and stayed in simpler accommodations, but for those who can afford it, I highly recommend staying in the lodges, as they are truly beautiful. Thank you for everything, David!

The review below is the personal opinion of Marie and not that of SafariBookings.
Bad Organization, good safari
3/5

Unfortunatley we can not reccomend this Safari operator. We booked a 10 day mid-range lodged safari for Kenya and Tanzania.
The organization was really bad, especially in tanzania. The lodges were mostly nice except the Hotel in Arusha wich was really bad ( absoloutley not mid-range). There was no running water on the first day and they scammed us at the check out as they charged our card twice. What really destroyed the experience was the drive between tanzania and kenia. The direct road from amboselli seemed to be destroyed so we had to do a 10h drive over Nairobi and were charged 80 Dollars extra. The drive back to nairobi was even worse. We were crammed into a small overloaded bus in wich we each only had half a seat for a 6h drive. It was absoulutley horrible. The Safari was nice though the drivers really did their Best so 5 Stars for them.

Awesome experience, great value for money
5/5

I booked the 13-day Kenya-Tanzania Budget Safari and would do it again anytime. David was always reachable both before and during the tour and made a great effort to answer questions and help with any issues that arose. He seems to be constantly on duty.

Almost all the accommodations were better than expected, and the staff were very friendly and helpful almost everywhere. As for the food, my expectations were far exceeded. Only the Fig Tree Lodge in Mto wa Mbu was far below average in various respects (food, accommodation, friendliness of a senior staff member). Other places were great however and I can’t praise the staff and food at the Buraha Zenoni Hotel and the Charity Hotel enough!

Shortly after our departure from Nairobi, there were two issues with the vehicle that delayed our journey, which meant that we could no longer do a game drive that day. The issues were then resolved, and as compensation, we spent significantly more time in the park the following day, so overall it was fine.

As for the itinerary and the safari experience, you get a lot for your money. We saw and experienced so much, and I will think about this wonderful trip for a long time.
The value for money of this trip was truly outstanding, and I highly recommend Pedaso-Safaris!

Amazing safari experience for a great price, very reliable tour operator
5/5

My 13-day budget safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Pedaso Safaris was an incredible experience and I can definitely recommend booking through David and his company!
Both Kenya and Tanzania are beautiful countries and the tour itinerary is well-planned, covering many highlights.
David was very helpful and outstanding in terms of communication throughout the booking process and while on safari. Our group encountered some issues with the safari vehicle on the first day of the tour, which resulted in missing the afternoon game drive in Masai Mara that was scheduled for that day. While this was disappointing, David did everything in his power to resolve the situation and the next day, we had an extended full day game drive in Masai Mara.
Since this was a group-joining budget safari, meaning that you share a safari vehicle with other people who booked through different tour companies, David of course had limited influence and had to coordinate with the other operators. Still, he did an amazing job and successfully made sure that we got value for our money.
Booking a budget safari I expected very basic accommodation and food. However, almost all of the camps/lodges/hotels were super comfortable with good service and very tasty food and far exceeded my expectations!
The trip really was wonderful with so many breathtaking sightings and it was definitely more than I expected for this price.

Great value for money and fast replies
5/5

We did the 13-day Kenya and Tanzania budget safari, and it did not disappoint! The itinerary is perfect for anyone wanting to explore all the major parks in both countries and experience as much as possible in two weeks. We saw countless animals and truly enjoyed each day of the tour!

The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations, especially considering this was a budget tour. Most of the accommodations were also great, with Buraha Zenoni Hotel and Charity Hotel standing out in particular. We did encounter some vehicle issues on the first day of the tour, but they were resolved on the same day, and that was the only day affected. David’s customer service was top-notch. He was always available before and during the safari, frequently checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly.

One important thing to note is that budget tours are typically group-joining safaris, meaning multiple tour operators share vehicles and guides, with different clients from various operators coming together in one vehicle. As a result, you won’t always have the same group or driver for the entire trip. The schedule/activities can sometimes be different from the description in the quote, for us the order of some days in Tanzania was changed so that the time in the parks did not always fit the description. However, some of this allows the budget pricing, which offers the best value for money I found. I compared several tour operators before choosing Pedaso Safaris, and David’s combination of 24/7 availability and affordable prices really stood out. I also appreciated that David organized private airport and border transfers at no extra cost!

Initially, I was a bit hesitant about booking with a smaller local tour operator, but it was definitely the right decision. 100% recommend Pedaso Safaris!
