Reliable
We took part in a customized 14-day tour through Zimbabwe and Botswana, covering some of the most remarkable natural areas in Southern Africa: Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, Elephant Sands, the Makgadikgadi Pans, the Okavango Delta, and Matobo National Park.
The itinerary was well designed and allowed us to experience very diverse environments, from the vast savannas of Hwange to the spectacular Victoria Falls, and the unique landscapes of the Okavango Delta and the Makgadikgadi salt pans. Among all the destinations we visited, Hwange National Park probably offered the most rewarding wildlife sightings, with an impressive abundance of animals.
I particularly appreciated the variety of experiences included: game drives, boat excursions, guided walks, and the opportunity to observe very different ecosystems. Elephant Sands is an interesting and unusual stop; however, during our stay, there were only a few elephants near the lodge. Most likely, the time of year was not ideal for witnessing the large concentrations of animals the area is known for.
Overall, the accommodations were appropriate for the nature of the trip. Some were simpler, others more comfortable, but all were functional and suited to the itinerary. A special mention goes to Matobo Hills Lodge: a beautiful property perfectly integrated into the landscape, with impeccable cleanliness, extremely kind and helpful staff, excellent food, and a truly unique location. It was undoubtedly one of the best lodges of the entire trip.
Matobo National Park, although less well-known than other more famous destinations, is absolutely worth a visit. Its granite landscapes are extraordinary, and the activities offered are among the most interesting of the trip. In my opinion, two nights are enough to fully appreciate it, but it is a stop that should not be missed in any Zimbabwe–Botswana itinerary.
The guides and local staff were professional, knowledgeable, and always available, contributing greatly to a smooth and enjoyable experience.
I would recommend this itinerary to anyone looking for an authentic African nature experience, with an excellent balance between iconic destinations and lesser-known but equally fascinating places.
A special thanks goes to our guide, Brighton from Zambezi Tour, who organized the trip and accompanied us for most of the journey. From the very first contact, he proved attentive to our expectations and the requirements I had expressed during the planning phase. Throughout the 14 days we spent together, he managed the program with great flexibility, adapting it when necessary while always keeping the goals of the trip in focus. His expertise, deep knowledge of the territory and local wildlife, combined with his availability and ability to listen, contributed significantly to the success of the experience

GREAT!!!
I booked a 10 day trip with Zambesi quest travel. Contacted via Safari Bookings, we then arranged the trip via email and WhatsApp. The owner, Brighton, was smart and attentive to my requests. I was travelling alone with 2 teenager children and chose a private tour. Spent 2 days in Hwange park in Zimbabwe, 2 days in Victoria Falls and then been to Chobe, Elephant Sands and Okawango delta in Botswana. At arrival at the airport we met Brighton and there the guide Gerry took charge of us. He had driven us all the way in a super-comfortable van, up until dropping us off at the airport for departure. The accommodations were good and clean, according to European standards. The parks are amazing, lots of animals and beautiful landscapes. Gerry has been very kind, respectful and caring. We always felt very safe. I would truly recommend the organization and service provided by this agency. Really made the dream come true.

both organization and price: more than ok
With Zambezi Quest we organized a trip in June for two people, in Zimbabwe and Botswana, building the itinerary together with Brighton before departure. We appreciated his availability, flexibility and competence in the planning phase of the trip, during which he was able to understand our requests and transform them into a well-organized program.
The costs were ok and in line with the level of the experience proposed. The itinerary was respected, all the scheduled stops were carried out and we had no negative surprises during the trip. Logistics management also proved to be overall reliable and professional.
Apart from some inevitable waiting at border crossings, the experience was very positive and we would recommend this guide to turists who wish to visit Zimbabwe and Botswana with a personalized and well-structured program.

Very caring
This was a fast-passed 4 day trip. I enjoyed it but the pace was too much. It would be better spread over 6-7 days. With overnights at the locations of the game drives instead of long road trips to and from the parks.

Excellent trip, very well organised with friendly, professional guides
From the moment we were met by Brighton and Gerry (Gerald) we felt we were in good hands.
Gerry took very good care of us for our 10 day trip and was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
The hotels were lovely and we slept very well. It is good to have most meals included in the cost which was very good value for money.
There were a variety of safari trips, both on land and water. I never expected to get so close to wild animals, our expectations were well exceeded. Hwange and Chobe in particular, provided amazing wild life experiences. As I grew up near the Victoria Falls, it was great to visit it again, the helicopter ride was exceptional.
All in all, highly recommended.
Just a warning though that there is lots of travel on very poor roads, so this trip would be unsuitable for anyone with back problems. Also be sure to pack some warmer, neutral coloured clothes, as the early game drives can be cold in an open sided vehicle.

Outstanding
Brighton is the proprietor of Zambezi Quest. He was with us almost the entire time from airport pick-up to traveling between destinations, game drives and back to airport. Before our arrival and during our planning, Brighton communicated with us on a very timely basis answering our ongoing questions, making suggestions, making our bookings. He was attentive to every detail of our trip. Highly recommend him and Zambezi Quest.

Amazing
Myself and two friends came over to Victoria Falls for 6 days. Brighton picked us up from the airport and basically made the whole trip a dream. He picked us up and took us to every activity we had planned. He organised the whole trip, so everything was very easy for us. All we had to do was make sure we were up in time every morning.
We visited Chobe National Park, had a few days in Zambia, and went over to Namibia for the day. We also had a lot of activities based in Zimbabwe. We did river cruises, dinners, white water rafting, safaris. All in all it was the best holiday the three of us have ever had.
Brighton is very good at communicating. I was planning the trip a few months ahead of time, from Taiwan, and he replied to every text quickly. We were all very happy with the costs too, although everything was laid out well before we arrived, so we knew what they would be well in advance.

Good escape from work 😉
We were family of four and we had a very good experience with Zambezi Quest Travel and Tours. From the beginning, communication was clear, timely, and professional. All arrangements were well organized, which made the entire trip smooth and stress-free.
The hotels selected were comfortable and properly arranged, and everything was ready upon arrival. Their business partners in Botswana were professional, reliable, and knowledgeable, which added great value to the overall experience.
The tour itself was impressive — we saw a lot of animals and truly enjoyed the wildlife experience. It was well coordinated, and the service throughout the journey met expectations.
Overall, it was a well-organized trip with good value for money. I would recommend Zambezi Quest Travel and Tours to other travelers looking for a reliable safari experience.
I have to mentioned that it took out the responsibility from my shoulders 😉
