As a male guide, he was incredibly enthusiastic, thoughtful and attentive to every single detail of our journey. Ally paid close attention to all our wishes and made sure we got sightings of every animal on our must-see list, from the Big Five to rare species we’d hoped to spot. His passion for wildlife and patient, warm service made our safari experience far more memorable than we could have imagined. Our guide and driver in Tanzania, Ally, was truly exceptional，he is simply an incredibly good driver and an outstanding guide. His knowledge of wildlife and plants is remarkable, and his professionalism made the entire journey smooth and unforgettable.
He is also extremely kind, patient, and thoughtful. He always checked in with us, listened carefully to our preferences, and tailored every part of the trip to match our interests perfectly.
What really made a difference was how dedicated he was during game drives，Ally would actively help us find the best angles to observe animals and always made sure we had the best possible views. He also helped us take photos, making sure we captured those special moments beautifully.
When I got injured, he even went out of his way to take me to different pharmacies to find what I needed, which showed how caring and responsible he truly is. He is sincere, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around.

Samora Explorer is a totally reliable local operator. All land arrangements were well organized and the itinerary ran smoothly.
We were incredibly lucky to have Emma as our guide. He is calm, gentle and considerate, always flexible to adjust our plans and keeps the car spotless every morning.
Emma has an amazing eagle eye for wildlife. He knows the whole savanna like the back of his hand and waits patiently for perfect viewing spots. The whole process was very comfortable and there were no big mistakes.
The cost performance is okay. I have seen a lot of animals. 🤩The guide Emma has always found a good camera position for us to shoot. I highly recommend him! 👍👍I can speak some simple Chinese. Generally speaking, there will be no problem communicating with him. He is a very good guide! The hotel I stayed in was very good, much better than I thought.

Great safari experience with reliable Samora Explorers
Our guide Reginald is quiet and reserved, yet extremely dedicated and attentive throughout the safari. He successfully helped us spot all the Big Five. We also witnessed an amazing wildebeest river crossing over the Mara River with an incredible viewing position, thanks to him.
It would be perfect if he could share more information about the animals and landscape along the way. Overall, we had an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend Reginald!

Amazing experience in Tanzania!
For my 18th birthday, I got to choose my dream trip: Tanzania! We (me and my family) went on a 10-day safari, followed by 3 days in Zanzibar. In one word, it was AMAZING. We booked our trip with Samora Explorers and I am so incredibly happy that we did. Everything was perfectly organized, met all of my expectations, and actually exceeded them.

Unforgettable Safari with Reginald – A Truly Personalized Experience
We had a truly wonderful safari experience with Samora Explorers. Our guide, Reginald, was exceptional – he communicated with us in detail about the schedule and itinerary every step of the way. Although we are from China and English is not our first language, Reginald made sure we fully understood our daily plans and the animals we encountered. He patiently answered all our questions and always checked that we had grasped his explanations.
The lodges and camps arranged for us were comfortable and exceeded our expectations. During the safari, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and also witnessed a wildebeest river crossing. Since we arrived a bit early in the season, the wildebeest herds in northern Serengeti were still thin, but after listening to our preferences, Reginald went out of his way to track the herds and find the best crossing spots for us. To top it all off, we enjoyed a hot‑air balloon ride – an absolutely fantastic experience.

A home away from home: thoughtful service and an exceptional safari experience
This was an absolutely unforgettable trip. Unfortunately, our luggage was delayed by the airline upon our arrival in Tanzania. We are incredibly grateful to our guide Reginald, who took careful charge of the issue right away and even stayed up late to help us retrieve our delayed bags — the whole process felt completely reassuring.
Thankfully, we recovered our luggage (which had been left in Ethiopia) before we traveled to the Serengeti. Since our bags held our clothing and camera equipment, this meant our trip was not disrupted at all. We cannot thank him enough for this support.
What’s more, our guide’s outstanding expertise made the game drives truly remarkable. On our very first day, we spotted 4 out of the Big Five — all except rhinos, which are primarily found in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was a fantastic experience!
