The Perfect Addis Ababa Layover Experience
We had a 10-hour layover in Addis Ababa on our way to Tanzania for a safari, and decided to join a city tour. After finding the tour online, we contacted Biniam via WhatsApp, and it was the best decision we made.
We visited Lucy, Mercato, Entoto Palace and Park, and the Holy Trinity Cathedral. One of the most memorable experiences was watching a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. We even tried roasting the coffee ourselves, but we roasted the beans too much! Our guide laughed and explained that black beans make the coffee much stronger. It was such a fun and authentic experience.
We ended the day with a delicious meal at a cultural restaurant. Thank you, Biniam, for your warm hospitality, excellent knowledge, and making our short stop in Ethiopia so special. We hope to come back one day for a much longer tour!

Exceptional Service, Amazing Destinations, Wonderful Memories
I usually travel solo as a photography enthusiast, and choosing the right tour company is always important to me. After contacting Kingdom Ethiopia Tour, I received a quick response with a detailed itinerary and quotation. Before booking, I was concerned about the security situation in Tigray, so I asked them directly. They answered all of my questions honestly, assured me that the areas included in my itinerary were safe, and explained that they had recently completed similar tours with other travelers. Their professionalism and prompt communication gave me the confidence to book.It turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I have ever made.
I spent two unforgettable weeks exploring Ethiopia, and every part of the tour was exceptionally well organized. The team took care of every detail, making my journey smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. My itinerary included Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Lalibela, Abune Yemata Guh Church, the Danakil Depression, and the Omo Valley. Every destination was unique and breathtaking. As a photographer, I was amazed by the incredible landscapes, ancient history, vibrant cultures, and the warmth of the Ethiopian people. Before this trip, I had no idea Ethiopia offered such an incredible variety of world-class destinations. It truly exceeded all of my expectations.
The tour was excellent value for money. Everything was organized professionally, and the quality of service was outstanding. I have traveled to many places, but the hospitality and personal attention I received on this trip made it one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life.
Interestingly, I was originally planning to visit Tanzania and Kenya. My travel agent noticed that I had a transit flight through Ethiopia and suggested, "Why not visit Ethiopia as well?" We are four photographers recently completed an incredible 17-day tour with Kingdom Ethiopia Tours, and it exceeded every expectation we had. from the moment we arrived at Addis Ababa Airport, we were warmly welcomed by the team and transferred to a beautiful five-star hotel, which was the perfect start to our journey.
We enjoyed a fascinating city tour of Addis Ababa before visiting the breathtaking Debre Libanos Monastery. from there, we explored the incredible northern highlights of Ethiopia, including Bahir Dar, Gondar, the Simien Mountains, Lalibela, Abune Yemata Guh, and the unforgettable Danakil Depression. We also traveled to the beautiful Omo Valley in southern Ethiopia, where we experienced unique cultures and amazing photographic opportunities.
As photographers, we were especially impressed by the carefully planned itinerary. Every destination was spectacular, and the schedule was well organized, allowing us to make the most of every day. The team's local knowledge and attention to detail made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout the trip. our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always eager to help. our driver was highly skilled and made us feel safe on every road, and the 4WD Jeep was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the long journeys much more enjoyable.

Beautiful country, amazing people and truly Authentic Ethiopian experience
We visited Africa for the first time, and Ethiopia became the 25th country we have traveled to. We booked this 10-day tour based on a recommendation from our friends, and it made our journey incredibly easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
The itinerary was perfectly balanced, combining Ethiopia’s stunning nature, rich culture, fascinating history, and unique wildlife. One of the highlights was seeing Gelada Baboons and the Ethiopian red fox in the Simien Mountains, along with many other colorful and beautiful animals.
Everything was very well organized, and the team was knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to help. Their passion for Ethiopia added great value to our experience.

An unforgettable 14-days journey through Ethiopia
We booked a private tour in Ethiopia, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable travel experiences we have ever had.
At the beginning, we asked if Biniam could join us for the Danakil Depression tour, and we are so glad he did. We spent amazing days together exploring one of the most unique places on Earth. Our chief in Danakil, Mr. Tsegaye, was fantastic always cheerful, funny, and full of energy. He also prepared delicious meals for us every day, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the entire Danakil team for their excellent care and hospitality.
After Danakil, we fly to the Omo Valley and continued with a private tour. Every day brought a new and fascinating experience as we visited different tribes. We spent more than three hours with many of the communities, talking with them, learning about their traditions, culture, and way of life. These authentic interactions were the highlight of our trip. We also had many opportunities to take wonderful photographs and create unforgettable memories.
Our tour lasted 14 days and exceeded all of our expectations. We visited Ethiopia during the low season, so there were very few tourists around. In fact, during our time in the Omo Valley, we were the only tourists there, which made the experience feel even more special and personal.
The rest of our journey took us to Lalibela, Gondar, and the Simien Mountains. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the history was incredible. The rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the historical treasures of Gondar, and the stunning nature of the Simien Mountains showed us how rich Ethiopia is in history, culture, and natural beauty.
Everything was organized comfortably and professionally from start to finish. What impressed us most was the kindness of the entire team. They did not treat us like customers but like close friends. Their warmth, dedication, and genuine hospitality made this trip truly unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone who helped make our Ethiopian adventure so special. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and life-changing experience in Ethiopia.

We recently finished an amazing two-week tour in North and South Ethiopia with a very professional company and wonderful team. The whole journey was interesting, unforgettable, and full of unique experiences. Our guide, Yohanes, was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much about the history, culture, and traditions of his beautiful country. He truly made the trip special for us. We also enjoyed a lovely farewell dinner at Toto Traditional Restaurant, where we tasted delicious Ethiopian food and everything was very tasty, and we loved it so much. Ethiopia is truly a fascinating country, and we highly recommend this tour experience!
