Extraordinary Family Journey Through Rwanda – Discovering Rwanda the Gama Way
I would like to sincerely thank Gama Travel and Tour Agency for making
my family’s journey to Rwanda one of the most beautiful and memorable
trips we have ever experienced.
I had wanted to visit Rwanda for a long time, and from the moment I
communicated with Gama Travel, I felt that I was in good hands. The
team was professional, responsive, and attentive to what my
11-year-old son and I wanted from our journey. They even assisted in
arranging my flight, making my arrival in Kigali comfortable and stress-free.
What followed was an incredible 8-day family adventure that showed us
a Rwanda far beyond what we had imagined.
We explored Kigali, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, enjoyed
family children activities at Kigali Universe and at Fazenda , went
on an exciting Akagera National Park safari, learned about Gorilla
Conservation at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla
Fund, discovered Rwandan traditions at Iby’Iwacu, enjoyed the beauty
of Lake Kivu, and experienced family adventures and leisure
activities.
But among all the experiences we had, Bigogwe was the experience that
touched me the most.
I have travelled to many countries in Africa, Europe, and other parts
of the world, but the experience we had in Bigogwe was unlike anything
I had experienced before. The breathtaking green hills, the local
communities, the cattle, the traditional lifestyle, the interaction
with local people, and the opportunity to experience Rwanda beyond
conventional tourism made the visit incredibly authentic.
After experiencing Bigogwe, I strongly believe that Bigogwe should
become a must-visit destination for anyone coming to Rwanda. It gives
a visitor something that cannot be found simply by visiting
conventional tourist attractions. It makes the journey personal,
authentic, and unforgettable.
As a mother, I was especially happy to see my son learning and
enjoying himself at the same time.
I highly recommend Gama Travel to families, couples, international
visitors, and anyone who wants to discover Rwanda in a different way.

The Trip with Gama Travel and tour agency was professional, excellent than what we expected
Our family of six—my wife Yvette, our four children aged 14, 12, 8,
and 4, and myself—had an incredible experience visiting Akagera
National Park with Gama Travel and Tour Agency.
As a Rwandan family, we were amazed by how professionally Gama Travel
handled our family safari. From the planning and communication to the
transportation and guidance, everything was organized with our
children’s comfort and safety in mind.
What made the experience especially enjoyable was traveling in a
comfortable open-roof safari vehicle. It gave all of us, including our
youngest child, a wonderful opportunity to see the landscapes and
wildlife clearly and enjoy the experience together as a family.
Akagera was absolutely beautiful. Our children were excited to see
wildlife in the park and were amazed by the experience of seeing
animals in their natural environment. Watching their excitement made
the safari even more special for us as parents.
Our children especially enjoyed seeing the elephants, giraffes,
zebras, antelopes, hippos, buffaloes, monkeys, birds, and other
wildlife. The safari also gave them an opportunity to learn about
nature and Rwanda’s wildlife outside the classroom.
One thing we particularly appreciated is that Akagera National Park is
a wonderful family-friendly destination in Rwanda, allowing families
with children to enjoy a genuine safari experience together. For us,
it was a perfect opportunity to introduce our children to the beauty
and importance of Rwanda’s natural heritage.
Our children even wanted to write their own thoughts about the experience:
14-year-old: “I really enjoyed the safari because I saw animals that
I had only seen in books and on television. Seeing them in the park
was completely different and exciting.
12-year-old: “My favorite part was seeing the animals from the safari
terms like the difference between ice land and peninsula while observing them . I loved being able to look around and see everything, I felt connected to the environment and the guider explained us some geographic terms”
8-year-old: “I loved the animals, especially the giraffes and zebras.
I want to go on safari again!”
4-year-old: “I liked the animals! I saw them with Daddy and Mummy. I
want to come gain to see lions and giraffes!
As parents, seeing all four children enjoying the same experience
together was the greatest reward and a good holiday memories which they will share with their friends when they will be back to school.
We sincerely thank Gama Travel and Tour Agency for giving our family
such a wonderful experience. They understood that traveling with four
children requires extra care and patience, and they handled everything
exceptionally well.

An Unforgettable and Meaningful Safari Experience in Rwanda
I had an amazing experience with Gama Travel and Tour Agency during my safari in Rwanda. The entire trip was very well organized, and the team was professional, friendly, and always available to help. Communication before and during the trip was excellent, which made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.
The safari itself was unforgettable, the landscapes, wildlife, and cultural experiences were incredible. Our guide, Samuel, was exceptionally kind and professional. He explained all the unique characteristics and behaviors of the animals in a very interesting way, and you could truly see his passion for nature and wildlife. Even during long days, he always had a smile on his face and regularly checked to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the safari even more special.

An unforgettable safari experience and warm welcome in Rwanda
I traveled to Rwanda in April as part of a school project, and I was warmly welcomed right from the moment I arrived at the airport by the Gama Travel team. We truly loved our experience and completely fell in love with Rwanda. The people are kind and welcoming, and the country is a beautiful place to discover.
During one of our days off, we had the opportunity to take a guided tour in Akagera National Park with our guide Samuel Bikorimana. He is an outstanding guide who ensured our safety and comfort throughout the entire day. The Gama Travel team arranged transportation from our hotel, which made everything smooth and easy.
Once there, Samuel demonstrated great professionalism and genuine kindness. We felt very comfortable from the start and had an amazing safari experience with him. We were able to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, and more. He really made an effort to help us see as much as possible and shared a lot of knowledge about the park and its wildlife, which made the experience even more meaningful.
