# TOURS LAND SAFARIS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
## 1. General Information
1. The availability of the services and activities included in any programme, itinerary or quotation is subject to confirmation and formalisation of the booking.
2. Travel prices may be subject to changes resulting from currency fluctuations, accommodation rates, national park fees, flights, transportation or other supplier costs. Any price adjustment will be communicated to the client promptly and with appropriate justification.
3. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of Tours Land Safaris, a confirmed accommodation needs to be changed, alternative accommodation of the same or equivalent category will be provided whenever possible.
4. Any modification to the itinerary, services, accommodation or activities requested or accepted by the client after the booking has been confirmed may involve an additional charge. Any such additional amount must be paid before the modified service is provided.
## 2. Booking and Payment Conditions
1. A 30% deposit of the total trip price is required to formalise a booking, unless different conditions apply to specific services or suppliers.
2. The deposit is used to confirm services with local and international suppliers, accommodation bookings, domestic or international flights where applicable, as well as administrative and management costs.
3. Unless otherwise specified in the individual booking, the remaining 70% must be paid no later than 60 calendar days before the trip departure date.
4. A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and the requested services have been confirmed.
## 3. Cancellation by the Client
In the event of cancellation by the client, the cancellation conditions and applicable fees communicated at the time of booking confirmation will apply, taking into account the conditions established by the suppliers involved.
In general:
* The 30% deposit may be non-refundable when it has been used to confirm services or cover management costs, bookings or supplier cancellation fees.
* If cancellation takes place between 60 and 31 calendar days before departure, cancellation fees of up to 50% of the outstanding balance may apply, depending on the conditions of the services booked.
* If cancellation takes place less than 30 calendar days before departure, cancellation fees of up to 100% of the outstanding balance may apply, depending on the conditions established by the suppliers.
The specific cancellation conditions applicable to each booking will be communicated to the client at the time of booking.
## 4. Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
If, before the start of the trip, unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the destination or in its immediate vicinity that significantly affect the performance of the package or the transportation of passengers to the destination, the client may terminate the contract in accordance with applicable law.
In such circumstances, Tours Land Safaris will act in accordance with applicable legislation and the conditions of the services booked.
Tours Land Safaris may also terminate or modify the provision of the trip when unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent its proper performance, providing the solutions required under applicable law.
## 5. Postponements and Changes Requested by the Client
When the client requests a postponement or modification of the trip, Tours Land Safaris may consider transferring the services and payments already made to new dates, subject to availability and acceptance by the relevant suppliers.
Any costs, penalties or fare differences resulting from a change of dates may be payable by the travellers where applicable.
If the change is made for a different year or season, updated rates from hotels, national parks, airlines or other suppliers may apply.
## 6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance covering, among other things, cancellation, illness, accidents and assistance during the trip.
Tours Land Safaris may offer or include travel insurance when this has been expressly contracted as part of the relevant travel programme.
## 7. Tailor-Made Services
Tours Land Safaris specialises in organising tailor-made trips adapted to each client's needs. Services, accommodation, activities, duration, itineraries and other travel arrangements will depend on the characteristics of each booking and the availability of suppliers.
Specific conditions agreed and accepted by the client for an individual trip will prevail where they differ from these general terms and conditions.
## 8. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
By confirming a booking, the client accepts the general and specific terms and conditions applicable to the contracted trip, as well as any specific conditions imposed by the relevant suppliers where applicable.
