What a joy.
Dear Masha,
We just wanted to take some time to thank you and your company, especially Athman, our guide/driver. Right from the start, being met at the airport after a long flight, I knew we were in good hands. Athman is a true professional and a wonderful person. He watched out for us and made our trip special - the other guides we met talked about his special ability to spot game and birds- he did not let us down.
We shared eight days with him and at the end, we considered him a friend. We had some great laughs together and he was totally informed about every place we went and about everything we saw - if there was a question, the field guides came out and a second look with the binoculars was taken.
We always felt safe and secure.
You and your company did a great job for us - accommodation was beyond our expectations, the food was sublime, the vehicle was clean and in top condition and the price was right. We highly recommend your company - Sunny Safaris - for anyone looking for an unforgettable trip to Tanzania.
The hotel you booked for us - Planet Lodge - was also the right call - clean rooms, quiet, an attentive and wonderful staff, excellent food. No complaints there!
If we ever decide to go to Africa again, you will be the first company we would contact. We have already given your name to a few friends who wish to go on safari.

Wonderful experience
My husband and I did a 6D/5N camping safari to Lake Manyara, Serengueti and Ngorongoro last December. We booked it from home and Irene replied us answering all our questions.
I have no words to express how much we enjoyed. Our guide Abdul, great driver, worked in every moment to find all kinds of animals (we saw leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, a enormous python snake, lions,...) and he always managed to place our car in the best position to see them. Our cook, Vincent, was absolutely excellent, thoughtful and prepared us delicious meals, taking care of even the smallest details.
I highly recommend Sunny Safaris, Abdul and Vincent.

Great safari experience
Booked 6D/5N safari with Sunny Safaris on the recommendation of a friend who had used their services earlier and we were not disappointed. Our driver Hamisi was really helpful and knowledgeable and helped us spot animals (inc big 5) from a distance. He would drive to places where the other operators were not crowding and allow us to take pictures in peace. The transaction of booking the safari was quite easy (thanks to Masha and Ally). We were picked up from the airport and dropped back in time for our flights. The safari was well planned and the lodges were quite good. The food was great including packed lunches. Hamisi, our driver, was a safe driver and quite patient with us in terms of timings.
I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent value for money
We have just finished an amazing safari with Sunny Safaris. We had done extensive research and contacted numerous companies to get itineraries and quotes. Sunny safaris came out significantly cheaper than the other companies so having checked the reviews on the internet, which were extremely positive, we decided to book with them. We organised the trip with Jessica who was extremely professional and prompt with her responses. As the cost of the safari was cheaper we were happy to add on some extras which still brought it in line with the cost of other companies safaris.
Our guide was Hameesh who was friendly and was happy to tailor the trip around us. Our cook was Damien who was absolutely excellent - really delicious food was produced each evening and we would definitely recommend him for your trip!
In all we were extremely happy with sunny safaris and would definitely recommend them.

Dreams come true
We had a more than beautiful Safari.
We were very lucky and pleased with Atmann as our Guide.
Especially the Acacia Hotel was like paradise especially the people working there.
We saw your breath-taking sceneries, the big five (many , many lions, cheetah and leopard) and I was very happy with the shared enthusiasm for birds between Atmann and me.
I would everybody advise to go with Sunny Safaris !

Great Safari
We had a great experience with Sunny Safaris. Ally was great at customizing a combination of luxury camping and lodge accommodations for us at a good price. Our guide Abdul was uncanny at spotting the animals and making it possible for us see the big five. The only thing that I had a problem with was getting sick after eating breakfast at the Sopa lodge at Ngorongoro Crater. Fortunately, it was my last of five days.

Great 5 Day Camping-Safari with friendly and fun guides
We booked our Safari (for 2 person) from home. Therefore, it was really great that Jessica, who works in the office, replied us quick and in detail and answered all our questions. Even during our safari she checked on us via phone calls to hear if everything was alright.
Our Jeep was really new and super clean and the tents were cozy and good against the cold during nighttime. Food during all 5 days was delicious, fresh (we even stopped at local women on the market to buy vegetables) and always more than enough! Our cook was very friendly and managed cooking even in the full kitchens of the campgrounds.
Our guide/driver Sam was always good for a joke and gave us some background information about the animals and other things. He informed us every evening about the next days plan and had a chat with us in the evening.
During the Safari we saw a lot of animals! Especially, because Sam was listening to the radio announcing where animals were. Due to his experience we were at the right spot all the time. He also always kept appropriate distance to the animals so that they are not disturbed.
So we had a great time! :-)
The only thing to critics are the stops at various souvenir shops on the way to the parks. (But every tour company does them). This was annoying but could be used to stretch legs and go to the toilet.

Amazing experience from beginning to end
Following the recommendation in our guide books (Stefan Loose - Tansania, Reise Know-How - Tansanias Nationalparks), I requested an offer and received a really good itinerary within only a few hours.
Jessica, our go-to person was always very kind, quick, patient and helpful and took all our wishes and extras into account.
She suggested two tailor-made tours for the four of us so that we could choose what suited us best.
She also provided us with all kinds of information (packing lists, pre-safari hotel recommendations, ...)
All of the proposed camping sites were very comfortable, clean and safe. The lodge (we were upgraded to) was a dream of an accomodation.
Our tour guide James was more than what you could wish for. He had an answer to all of our (stupid) questions, knew exactly in which positions the best photos could be taken, was very kind and patient, made us see all of the Big 5, was able to see and explain about every animal, no matter how far away, was extremely experienced and a really nice person.
Damian, our cook, was really a magician. Our 3-course-menues were far beyond what we could have imagined. He even baked a birthday cake in the middle of the Serengeti! The delicious lunch boxes, which left us speachless, were (unlike other Safari companie´s lunch boxes) packed in reusable plastic boxes.
All of the above made our Safari experience an unforgettable adventure!

Fantastic Safari
We dealt with Jessica when arranging our safari and she always replied very quickly, with great advice and fantastic English. Our safari guide was Habisi and chef Charles, both who gave us an amazing experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us to see all the animals we wanted. Charles made some great meals, we certainly always had more than we needed to eat with lots of variety. I would certainly recommend Sunny Safari to anyone.

Once if a lifetime experience
We had an amazing time on our safari – it was everything we could have hoped for and more; the accommodation (glamping and crater lodge) and food was excellent and BJ was such a great guide with excellent knowledge of the animals!
