'Forever cherishing the amazing experience with Nyathi Travel & Tours'
5/5

l had an amazing day courtesy of a voucher extended Nyathi Tours which will forever be a source of fond memories. The voucher was an awesome gift l got after winning Miss University of Zimbabwe 2015. Together with my friends, Nyathi Travel took us to Ngoma Kurira which is in Domboshava, 40km from Harare with a cheerful and extremely assured driver, Mr Zambezi. Upon arrival, the activities that we had included mountain climbing, site seeing with impecable views, exploration of caves that uncovered Zimbabwes history as potrayed through rock art and paintings presumed to originate from the stone age era. Not only was this refreshing but it was an enlightening experience, particularly learning the history of Zimbabwe through the art and paintings in caves accompanied by detailed commentary by our guide, who was ever present to address our curiosity. And of course not forgetting the delicious food provided! Thank you Nyathi Tours for the memories.

13 Day Tour of Zimbabwe - a wonderful experience!
5/5

My husband and I have just done this tour and we had a wonderful time. There were four in total in our group plus the driver, Mr Gombe. The itinerary was very good - we really enjoyed visiting the school at Old Mutare Mission, the gardens at Seldom Seen in the Bvumba (with the infectiously enthusiastic Bulawesi to guide us!), and the tour of Serengeti 5 organic farm and ecotourist facility. We also had a very interesting visit to a tobacco farm. Our tour then travelled across the country to take in Great Zimbabwe, Matobo and Hwange before ending at Vic Falls. We all felt that our driver, Mr Gombe, did a fantastic job if getting us from one stop to the next on time but very safely, and he was the perfect driver - kind, thoughtful, funny and very patient with the various foibles of four foreigners! He was a star! We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the vitality and optimism of the Zimbabwean people, and the beautiful country as well.

A reliable travel agency with profound knowledge of Zimbabwe
5/5

We started planning our 2015 journey in Zimbabwe and surrounding countries well ahead with Nyati Travel.

Zimbabwe is generally not regarded as a logic destination due to the reporting in the international media about the present state of affairs in the country. But we can wholeheartedly recommend all aspiring travellers to plan a longer stay in this fantastic nation. The natural beauty is unrivalled but above all, it is his population that makes an unforgettable impression: welcoming, open, communicative, helpful and with a extraordinary drive to make the best of it. We encountered no problem whatsoever, not from the authorities, let alone from the public. At the numerous police checkpoints we were consistently waved through. No attempts of theft or to fool us in any way, not in the cities or anywhere else.

About the service and assistance of Nyati’s partners Goof de Jong and André Bongers & staff, we can wholeheartedly recommend them. They had good suggestions for places to stay, they were fast and punctual in their follow-up of our numerous mails with extra requests and alterations of reservations in hotels and lodges.

Through Nyati we hired an extremely reliable and comfortable 1996 Nissan Patrol jeep that took us without any problems for 5100 kilometers through Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Mozambique. Not even a puncture…
It was a pity they forgot to mention that it is now possible to buy multiple visas upon entry in Zimbabwe for Zambia, for example.

However, do seriously consider to book your next Southern African journey with this professional and friendly travel agency that throws it’s heart and soul into Zimbabwe and the travel business.

The beauties of nature and the efficiency of the organization
5/5

Zimbawe was a real discovery for us. We most appreciated its natural beauties and the friendliness of its people in a relaxed atmosphere, because it is not yet affected by mass tourism.
Nyati helped us to materialize this experience. Communication with Goff was very good. He gave us prompt answers to our questions, and thanks to his suggestions we were able to re- adjust our proposed itinerary. The driver and the car we were given were very good; the choice of the lodges excellent; the efficient organization made everything working out perfectly. We strongly recommend Nyati to other visitors!

Short trip in Zimbabwe with Nyati Travel & Tours
4/5

We planned a four day trip, travelling from Mutare, via Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Lake Muturikwi (Lake Kyle) Recreational Park, Chivero Recreational Park, to Harare. Nyati Travel & Tours provided the car and driver. We had a wonderful time. The driver, Alec, was a very good driver. He was also kind, helpful and patient. He listened very carefully to what we wanted and came up with some useful suggestions. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the sites and the wildlife. We will certainly recommend Nyati to others!

Trip to Manapools, Zimbabwe
5/5

We, me and my son, made a self drive trip to Manapools from Harare. Goof, Nyati, arranged for us the tickets for the camping and lodges, the 4x4, a very strong Nissan, which has a long time on duty, but extremey reliable and a nice 1:9 liters/km which is very good for such a heavy car, no modern electronics, so it always just do what is has to do, and all the equipment for camping. All as promissed. Also good information for the road trip to Manapools.
In one word: great. You can do business with him.
We recommend him and Nyati travel.

Great help with planning our trip and excellent arrangements.
5/5

Nyati Travel listened to what we wanted from our first ever trip to Zimbabwe, made some excellent suggestions and great choices on our behalf. The 17 day trip went like clockwork. The driver provided, Cranius, was thoughtful and careful, and tried to make happen whatever we wanted to do! Even visiting a coal mine!
We started at Vic Falls, went to Chobe, then on to Hwange (Sable Sands and elephant tracking with Roy Aylward - ask for him by name .....all superb), then to Matopos and rhino tracking with Andy , (again ask for him by name). Then on to Great Zimbabwe, and finally to HIFA in Harare.
Nyati even booked tickets for the festival as soon as the festival programme came out.
Zimbabwe leaves us full of smiles, sunshine, colour, gentleness, grace. Not once did we feel uncomfortable or concerned.
It's not a cheap destination, but tourism brings jobs for local people and we were always made to feel welcome wherever we went. If you have the chance to visit, don't let it pass you by!
