2017 Mikumi Safari
5/5

Communication prior to booking, during and after Safari was beyond expectation. The driver/tour guide worked hard to give us an unforgettable experience. Timing was awesome because we experienced seeing the 3 of the big five specially simba.

We will absolutely recommend Kanuth Adventure Safaris to our friends and will not think twice to book again with this company on our next visit to Tanzania.

Great job.

Walking safari, Meru und Kili
5/5

Very nice and well organized tours. A total of three parts were booked at Kanuth and we were very satisfied with all the guides and the respective implementation. Punctuality and reliability clearly above the African average. We liked the more experienced mountain guides as well as the super chef. Concerns should be given to the prices of the offers generally that one still gets charged a good portion for drinking on top of payment. That surprised us.

Highlight was clearly the walking safari in the highlands.

Fantastic safari: Vumi and Eric for the win
5/5

My wife and I did a four day/three night camping safari in Tarengire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. The itinerary was well-designed to spread out the driving time between locations and optimize the game driving portions. Our guide, Vumi, was extremely knowledgeable and had excellent English. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He knew the animals and birds and managed to site is everything we had hoped to see including two leopards, four prides of lions, a cheetah, a close pass by of a black rhino (though Vumi admitted that we lucked out: he said he hadn't seen a black rhino pass over the road bedside the vehicle in 5 years).

The vehicle and accommodation were nothing fancy but totally functional. The campsites were all very good: we had expected much less luxury. The first camp had wifi and all had showers, with 2/3 heated. The views at two of the camps were very impressive. There only thing we would do differently would be to try to camp at the first place rather than taking the surprise 'upgrade' to an 'African igloo' shelter: it was very stuffy and hot. We would have preferred a tent.

Eric, our cook, did a fantastic job. He was laid back and friendly. The meals were tasty, better than some of the nicer restaurants we tried in Tanzania! The quantities were all huge: more than we could handle!

Over all, we would recommend Vumi and Eric to anyone. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

Experiences of a lifetime! Excellent Guides and Service.
5/5

We booked a private Kilimanjaro trek and private 5-day safari with Kanuth Adventures. The Kilimanjaro guides (Amani and Allan) and porters were exceptional. The food was excellent (Thank you Ludiga and Andrew). All we had to do was show up and walk, everything was arranged for us.

A typical day on the mountain involved about 5-6 hours of walking over well defined trails and under the supervision of our guides. We were safe, warm, and well fed. We made the summit just before sunrise on August 31, 2015. Among the greatest experiences of my life!

After the Kilimanjaro trek, we set off for a 5-day safari adventure. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, and Tarangire Parks. Our guide, Maximilian (Max) was extremely knowledgeable about each of the National Parks we visited. Max knew where to find animals such as cheetah, lion, black rhino, elephant, and leopard. In addition, Max knew the names of the various birds in each the parks we visited.

The safari lodging was exceptional. We stayed at two different lodges with breathtaking views of the Ngorongo Crater, and Lake Manyara, which were situated on the cliffs above the parks with unobstructed views.

In addition, we spent two nights at a tent lodge in the Serengeti National Park. Our tent had a comfortable king sized bed, running water, and all the amenities of a small apartment to include a flush toilet. The food was prepared by professional staff and was exceptional. After a long day of safari in the Serengeti, we would return to the tent lodge, sip Tusker by a fire, and watch the zebra migration on the horizon until sundown. The sunsets were among the most breathtaking experiences of my life.

Thank you, Kanuth Adventures!

5/5

We made a 3 days selous tour. We had really good time. They have good knowledge and they work hard to make you happy. Nicko made delicious meal and Samy was a pro guide with good knowledge about wildlife. He knows very well where to find animals, and how to track them like a hunter :). Most importantly they didnt made us feel like tourists, and they made us feel comfortable. We totally recommend kanuth adventures.

excellent service and keen to meet customer
5/5

We went on safari and the treatment was excellent, both Sammi the driver/guide as Nico, the cook. Wonderful people who made our stay difficult to forget. I can not thank the interest put that out of all our liking. Guys, congratulations!!!! We had a very good time with you that we will never forget.
My only recommendation is that if you go to Hippo Camp beware with river water and douche, there are schistosomiasis in the water (nothing surprising in wild places) and if you have a very itchy rush some days after the trip go to tropical doctor for treatment when you come back home.
The rest of the experience is amazing, 100% recommended.

Great, smooth, enjoyable experience in Selous.
5/5

We took a 3 day tour to Selous. Tony picked us up from the hotel early morning and we drove to the hippo camp with a couple bathroom/lunch stops, the ride takes about 7 hours. When we arrived we went straight for the boat tour where you can see crocs and hippos. The rooms are nice with 2 single beds and a private bathroom, very basic but overall good. The staff of the hotel is very nice and the food is very tasty and abundant. Second day Tony droves in the reserve and made sure we saw as much animal as possible, plenty of hippos, impalas, zebras, giraffesand birds, we also managed to spot a family of elephants and a family of lions. Third day is a walking tour, we didn't see a lot of animals but the guide was very nice and explained us a lot about the trees and animals. Around the hotel there are plenty of squirrels, monkeys and baboons. Special thanks to Tony for being an awesome guide. Very enjoyable tour, we highly recommend Kanuth for your safari experience.

11 days with 3 kids
5/5

We had a wonderful African adventure when our kids were 10,13,and 15 years old. As a kick off for our 2 month adventure we had an 11 day safari with Kanuthi. I enthusiastically recommend this for any family with a taste for adventure. The safari was a wonderful way to connect with each other. There are none of the usual commercial type of distractions that invade most holiday spots. Kanuthi is a fantastic man who really listened to our intrests and made it happen. He joined in with our family and quickly became our friend. We all treasure this memory. Our trip was a few years ago, I am so happy to see all the great reviews. It seems that Kanuthi. has attracted a great team of people. Go to Africa and take a safari with Kanuthi. You will love it!

Great Experience
5/5

A group of 14 went on safari to Selous National Park. The whole trip was a great experience from start to finish. We saw all the Big 5 and both Kanuth and Tony went out of their way to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see, from the river safari to the walking tour and the jeep ride. The food was excellent and Hippo Camp was everything it needed to be for the trip we had planned! Couldn't recommend Kanuth Adventure Safaris more!
