5 stars are far too few - dream combination of recreation, nature and animals and culture.
WE LOVE AFRICA!
During our 4th Africa Safari Adventure, in addition to wildlife, this time we wanted to get to know the culture of the continent and its inhabitants better.
GENERAL
During our search we came across Zohar African Safaris, which offers such a tour.
What can I say: Everything was MORE THAN PERFECT. From the first contact, video calls with Lilian and intensive advice, the entire handling before, during and after the trip (when e.g. our luggage was lost on the inbound flight), the ecological awareness e.g. through personalized drinking bottles ...
THE TRIP
Our 6-day safaris took us first to the hot springs in Kikuletwa, then overnight to the Maasai , to Arusha and Tarangire NP, the Serengeti and finally to the tribes of Hadzabe, Datoga.
OUR GUIDE
We had an unsurpassed exceptional safari guide in Solomon, Solo for short. His knowledge of the animals, but especially his ability to spot animals even from extremely long distances, is inbelievable. A good guide makes a big difference between an ordinary safari and a great experience. And we had 100% of the latter. Solo's local knowledge of the Serengeti is a particular plus, as he worked here as a local guide for several years.
THE CAR
Our safari vehicle was almost new and Solo cleaned the vehicle inside and out daily. Neatness and cleanliness was a priority throughout the trip.
THE FOOD
Typical African - insanely good and delicious.
On some days we were lucky enough to have our lunch cooked by the team members or their family themselves. The food itself was served - allowed or not - partly in the middle of the park with a view of the wildlife.
THE ACCOMMODATIONS
All high-class and exceptional. The Zohar team managed to reserve for us in the accommodations the rooms with the best view e.g. into the Rift Valley. Thanks for that!
THE TEAM
We will also remember the last evening, where we talked a lot together with Lilian about our different cultures and their similarities and get in close contact touch with "The more personalized touch".
Thanks also to Jacky, Scholar and the rest of the team who took such perfect care of us and organized everything.
PRICE PERFORMANCE
Despite slightly cheaper other offers, we chose Zohar because the overall package and communication were so perfect here. Once you have experienced Lilian and her perfect organizing team, you will appreciate the added value.
TRAVEL TIME
We visited Africa in both the dry and rainy seasons.
The rainy season, due to less tourist density, green vegetation and cheaper prices, we prefer.
Also, the animal sightings - with Solo as a guide - are just as high as in the dry season.
AT LAST.
We found our perfect safari provider.
Since Zohar offers trips in different countries in East Africa, other providers are out of the question for us.

best vacation ever !!
We spent 8 days with Zohar in Tanzania (Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and would always choose them again.
From beginning to end, everything was simply perfect.
Since it was our first safari, we had many questions and had to change our travel dates a few times, but all of this was no issue for the Zohar Team, they are just amazing. They took the time to answer all our questions and personalized the tour perfectly for us.
Everything was super easy for us this way as we only had to organize the flights.
When we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport our Guide was already waiting for us and it was the nicest welcome ever with flowers, personalized water bottles, fresh juice and snacks.
The game drives were indescribably beautiful, the landscape, the animals, everything is just breathtaking and the lodges that were booked for us were perfect as well and on top we had the best guide you could ask for.
Every evening we had a short talk with our guide re the next day (departure time/route/etc) so we could prepare everything in the evening and relaxed look forward to our next game drive.
We wanted to leave very early and come back late but were not sure if this is generally possible, but this was no problem at all and because we wanted to leave so early, we could have our breakfast and lunch in the middle of the National Parks most of the time, which was amazing.
Our guide was really the best, despite driving the whole day on bumpy roads and spotting all animals, positioning the car so we can get the best look and pictures of the animals, he took care of the meals/snacks, made sure that the car was always super clean and everything was packed by the time we arrived at the jeep so all we had to do every morning was jump in the car to start our game drive. He really made sure that everything was perfect.
We imagined the trip to be great but it really exceeded all our expectations!!
Many thanks again to the whole Zohar Team, we are so thankful for this beautiful, unforgettable vacation, we will definitely be back asap!

A trip of a life time
We recently had the pleasure of booking a Safari with Zohar Safaris, and we must say, from start to finish, their administration and operations were absolutely excellent. Jackie, the point of contact, was incredibly organised, informative, and easy to communicate with, ensuring a smooth experience throughout.
Our Safari guide, David, deserves special recognition for his exceptional service. He was not only accommodating but also a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife and surroundings. David went above and beyond to make our Safari perfect, creating unforgettable memories along the way.
The Safari LandCruiser provided by Zohar was top-notch. It was remarkably comfortable, clean, and impeccably maintained, ensuring our comfort throughout the entire trip.
Zohar's choice of accommodations exceeded our expectations. The three Serena lodges offered breathtaking views, and the staff provided excellent service. However, our favourite accommodation was Singing Grass, which stood out with its exceptional charm and ambience.
In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend Zohar Safaris to anyone in search of a personalised and unforgettable Safari experience. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.

Incredible week filled with game drives and immersive cultural experiences!!
We had an incredible 7 day safari with Zohar safaris!! Our week was filled with game drives and immersive cultural experiences with multiple tribes! Our guide, Daniel, was one of a kind and could spot animals from a mile away! We saw everything that we wanted to see and more! The lodging was clean and comfortable! Caring, clear communication and nice people!
Me and my husband spent 6 days during our honeymoon with Zohar African safaris. We really enjoyed our time, we were in contact with several companies beforehand but choose Zohar since their great communication via email (with Lilian) that answered all our questions, tailor made after our wants and needs and came with great suggestions. During the time on the safari we had a very nice and knowledgeable guide named Boniface. He made it personal and didn't feel so "touristy", he listened to our needs but were also clear in his recommendations. We got nice food and snacks during the whole time and many fun surprises during the safari trip so it really felt unique and that Zohar and Boniface really made a big effort for us to get a memorable honeymoon and vacation. Would recommend everyone to go with Zohar African safari!

Super efficient travel company
Lilian and her team were amazing. Communication was superbly easy and we were in constant touch from start to finish. As well as Lilian taking the time to meet us before our Safari and afterwards. Any problems we may have had were swiftly dealt with and they went over and beyond to ensure we had a great trip.
Our guide, Solomon was incredible and was polite, funny, knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with.
The accommodation picked suited us very well and was different each evening. The safari camp, whilst being slightly rustic was extremely comfortable and a must do as you are really immersed in the African bush but with all creature comforts as an added bonus.
The wildlife sightings were incredible and we travelled by road from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. We had some memorable moments from close encounters with Cheetahs and a Leopard strolling on the road in front of us, to seeing juvenile lions try and take a buffalo down. Lots of wonderful vistas to enjoy and whilst the journey was bumpy at times, just sit back relax and let Zohar safaris take care of you .
We will be using this company in the future and we wish them all the very best in the future and hope that they can continue to stand out of the crowd in what is a very competitive market.

5 star safari
After a few e-mails we booked our 5 day safari (1 day at Lake Manyara, 2 days at Serengeti Park, 1 day at ngorongoro park and 1 day at Tarangire park) and we hit the jackpot.
Your mainly contact was with the owner (Lilian) that was always available for any doubts and recommended two beautiful accommodations, particularly Manyara’s Secret Lodge.
They make you feel special every step of the way.
During the safari they prepare many surprises to us, such as bouquet of roses, champagne and wine.
The jipe was new and very comfortable.
Our guide (Tom) was enthusiast and knowledgeable about the animals and their habitats. Don’t hesitate to ask for him because he always knew where to find the animals and we saw all the big 5.
Don’t hesite going on a safari with Zohar. It’s a 5 star experience.

An experience we will remember our whole lives!
It took us a while but we finally found the right words to describe this experience.
It was the most amazing, beautiful, interesting, breathtaking experience we had.
From A-Z everything was thought through to the highest possible standards and to the smallest detail.
Solomon, our guide and driver gave us the warmest possible welcome at the airport,from there things just got better.
Solomons experience and professionalism was on an another level, the things we got to see were breathtaking and most of the time we were the only ones lucky to witness this beauty.
The Hotels the Zohar team picked out for us were unique, luxurious, and beautiful. The food was amazing.
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our honeymoon. We are grateful to Lilian and her team. This was an experience we will never forget!

Knows the Serengeti and the animals in it better than anyone. We always were in the best spot.
Zohar was absolutely incredible. Our guides, Solomon, Daniel, and Goodluck were the best. Honestly felt like best friends by the end of the trip. They knew the Serengeti better than anyone and understood the animals behaviors so well that we were always in the best positions for viewing. 100/10. Trip. I highly highly recommend. You will not regret it.
