Uganda - Gorillas & Chimps
The website stated - "Offers animal encounters never to be forgotten, spectacular scenery, exceptional photographic opportunities, and is known to have some of the friendliest people in Africa". And this pretty much perfectly sums the trip up. A small group of like minded people made this a truly memorable trip. There was good mix of pretty basis camping, and then Lodge/Bungalows for those days when we had trekked - which came as a very welcome reward. The highlight had to be the hour with the Gorillas, this can be a hard trek but sooooo worth it. Once again Ant was our guide and his knowledge, passion and enthusiasm made this one of the most awesome trips I have done. Thinking about booking a Masihambe trip? - stop thinking and start booking you won't regret it.

Fabulous experience
We had a wonderful time on our 25 day Wild Life and Game Parks safari. You may think that it would become a bit much doing day after day of safari but no, there has been a lot of thought put into the itinery resulting in each day being a new experience. Ant, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and capable and fun to be with. Most of all we enjoyed the days where we stayed in the parks and had a braai (bbq) in the evening, everyone joining in together then chilling together in the evenings. We had the best weather, sad for the countries that were suffering a drought... We saw every animal possible except a Cheetah, saw prides of lions setting up their dinner choices and got up close and personal with elephants, lions and rhino's. The company on our trip was the best also and we had lots of laughs and fun. The only worry was remembering to carry enough money to cover tips which is not part of our culture.
Thank you Jude for organising such an amazing adventure. If you are thinking about going - STOP thinking and DO IT.

A safari that focussed on game and birds for 25 days and delivered once in a life time memories.
A 25 day wild life safari which allowed us to experience the major game reserves of 3 different countries - South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
An experienced guide in Antony, allowed us to see extensive bird and animal life. His local knowledge and his 22 years of guiding experience ensured thet we missed out on very little. The Big 5 were ticked off early on and other species including over 200 different birds and over 50 mammals followed as time progressed. Some game was seen for the first time on the last day. So there was always something to see and chat about around the camp fire in the evenings.
The landscapes and environments was also continually changing throughout the trip. This tour meet all promised criteria in accommodation, food, side trips and travel locations.
A fantastic safari which we will recommend to our friends with similar interests.

Incredible, awesome, spectacular and magic
The experience of going on safari was incredible. To see the wild life in their own environment was magic.
The countryside was fantastic the vastness is not seen in photos but in real life just amazing.
The Masihambe Afrika company is a very professional business and was wonderful with all the communication and contact before and after the trip. The guide, Anthony Washford with his wealth of knowledge and genuine compassion for both the wild life and the country was outstanding. All in all the absolute best company to deal with. Recommend them to anyone wishing to see what they have on offer.

Africa - the animals, the people, the scenery, Wow! Truely the trip of a lifetime
Our Safari with Masihambeafrika was everything we dreamed it would be. From the outset it was extremely well organised and ably led by our guide Ant who is a passionate animal lover and who made the whole tour fun with his great enthusiasm for all things African. All our accommodation was very comfortable and we were very well fed on the whole trip. Of course, the definite highlight was the spectacular animals we saw in abundance, so close too at times, that made it the best holiday we have ever had. Thank you Ant and everyone involved.

Highlights every day, and hope to go back soon
We found our tour guides, and accommodation better than expected. Food was above excellent.
Almost all the guides were very friendly, and knowledgeable. We found the African people really friendly too.

Masihambe Afrika provided everything & so much more than was advertised and we expected. The small group size of 9 made the entire adventure more personal.

Trip of a lifetime
Thanks to Masihambe Afrika for guiding us through this most beautiful country. Our expectations were exceeded on every level from how close we were to the wildlife to the diverse beauty of the country and the wonderful people we met along the way. The local and animal knowledge of our guide Anthony was amazing and the stories he could tell kept us entertained around the fire at night. The food, the accommodations and the transport all excellent value for money. Madagascar Safari
organisation was excellent from the time we stepped off the plane in Johannesburg until we departed on our way home. Arrangements in Madagascar were everything that we could hope for with every little detail attended to by our wonderful tour guide,Anthony. This tour is more of an adventure trip and requires a certain amount of fitness but all aspects are adequately covered and at no time did we feel that we were not able to cope with the demands of the tour. Wildlife and scenery were spectacular and we were made to feel like family.
