Nice safari experience
4/5

It takes about 8 hours to get to the Masai Mara. Our guide was very nice and made sure we would see as many animals as possible which we did.
We also got to picnic in the Mara which was a fantastic experience.
The tents were also fine and private, there was no mosquitoes inside, and there was hot water.
We also visited a Masai village: do not miss it, it is very eye opening and we learn a lot from them.
Good quality for money.

Thank you for this wonderful experience.

A Lovely Welcome to Kenya!
5/5

This was our first time visiting Kenya, and the largest group our organization has taken on a trip abroad. Everything about Kenya was new to me, and dealing with 20+ travelers meant there was even more to learn. Johnathan from Genesis of Adventure was beyond helpful and friendly while accommodating the many questions and changes I requested of him while planning as well as during the trip.
Client service and accommodations were excellent. Our experiences on the city tour, tea farm, Bomas, giraffe center, elephant center, and Maasai Mara Safari are truly unforgettable. Johnathan the manager, and all of the guides and drivers were quite personable and we will definitely work with them again. See pics on IG @travel_give

Satisfaction
4/5

Satisfied with the communications from the first sms. service from the tour operaters was good. The only difficulty was the Mitingi camp about the food service and the cutting of electricity.

Great experience!!!
5/5

We used Genesis for our excursions in Kenya. Our driver David was FABULOUS! He took good care of us and even showed us some off the grid gems in and around Nairobi. He drove us to the Kiambethu tea farm and gave us a great mini tour of different parts of Nairobi on our drive to the farm. David also took us to the bead factory, giraffe manor, and the elephant sanctuary. He didn't just drive us to the locations and drop us off, he provided the history and other details behind the places we went and went with us on our tours. He also took us to the Bomas of Kenya which was an exciting experience! As we walked around and looked at replicas of the traditional villages, David explained to us about the the different tribes that occupied each village. Jonathan also did a phenomenal job of communicating with us and keeping us informed on our schedules, pick-ups, and etc. The service and care we received from Genesis was above and beyond what we could of expected! We will be back in Kenya next year and will definitely use Genesis again!

4/5

From the time we arrived Jonathan made sure everything ran smoothly. We were in touch throughout the whole trip and he made sure he stuck to his word and provided everything that was promised. We went on a well organized tour. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable about the different areas and animals and did everything to make it enjoyable for us. I would definitely recommend Genesis.

amazig day hike on mount longonot
5/5

My brother and I book our first tour to Masai Mara with Genesis of Adventure (I was in touch with Jonathan) and everything was well organised and we really liked our tour guide Eduard that we decided to book a day hike to Mount Longonot. Everything was organised as the fist time and Eric came to pick us up at the hotel at 7am. The drive from Nairobi to Mount Longonot was around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once we arrived at the national park we paid our entrance fee and we were asked if we want to take a ranger with us because there are wild animals but we decided to hike alone. Mount Longonot is an inactive Vulcano and it is around 3 km from the park entrance up to the crater. Some parts a kinda steep but not too difficult. Once you reach the crater you can walk around the whole crater for 7 km. Our advice to walk on the crater is to take the hike clockwise, at least we found it easier and we found a lot of people struggling to hike up the steep way with the crushed rocks on it. We also advice to wear hiking shoes with a robust sole and to bring some healthy snacks and water to stay hydrated. The highest point of the Vulcan Crater is 2.780m and we took our break there. We just weren't lucky with the view because the peak of the mountain was in a cloud. Once we reached the point where we started our crater hike we found a lot of young people and kids and they had a school excursion, everybody was very friendly and so lovely that we decide to hike the way down with some school kids. The whole tour took us 5 hours but we really walked slowly and we stopped many times to enjoy the view and listening to the nature.
We can only recommend this hiking tour to everybody who love to hike and the nature. Thank you Genesis of Adventure to make our stay so great in Kenya

Amazing trip from start to finish!! Highly recommend Genesis of Adventure
5/5

The communication with Jonathan from the start was very good. He ensured we received our itinerary via WhatsApp and Email and answered any questions we needed answering. Jonathan confirmed the pickup time and venue before our tour commenced which was reassuring.
We met our driver Monsour early on Tuesday morning. To be honest, he made the trip for us. A very generous and patient man with a vast knowledge of the Masai Mara and all the animals. As the trip to the Masai was approx 5 hours, Monsour ensured we were comfortable and stopped at many places along the way to stretch and take some photographs.
Our stay at Enkorok Camp was amazing. We had 3 large 4 poster beds within our tent which was situated in a beautiful setting not far from a small campfire. We were provided with our own bathroom and hot showers within the tent. The staff at Enkorok Camp were so friendly and helpful. We were escorted to and from our rooms by the staff which was reassuring. We stayed at Enkorok for 2 nights.
The Safari itself was out of this world. The best experience!! We spent hours at Masai Mara and seen 3 of the big 5 as well as many other animals in their natural habitat. Would highly recommend this trip!
Our third night was spent at CityMax Hotel close to Lake Nakaru. The accomodation was very basic but was close to the park the next morning.
At Lake Nakaru we seen the white rhino which ticked the 4th of the big 5. It was amazing to get up close to one of the world's most endangered animals.

Overall, this trip was a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend doing it with Genesis. Thank you for making our trip so amazing!

Incredible trip - lifelong memoriesWe were incredibly impressed with our recent safari in Kenya.
5/5

We were incredibly impressed with our recent safari in Kenya. As four females traveling together, we wanted to ensure we organised a safe and comfortable trip. After emailing a number of companies requesting information, we decided to use Genesis of Adventure because Jonathan was so helpful and prompt with responses to our queries. On arrival to Nairobi airport, Jonathan was there to greet us and we were able to hop straight in to our private jeep to begin our adventure.
The jeep was clean, spacious and in excellent condition. After introducing us to Noah, our guide and driver, Jonathon left us and we began our journey to Lake Nakuru. Noah was a brilliant driver and we felt very safe on board. He pointed out a lot of interesting things on our journey and was very polite, knowledgeable and engaging.
Our accommodation was basic - our request to keep overall costs down - but comfortable. We had proper beds, even in the tents, with mosquito nets so we were able to sleep well. We also had en suite western style flushing toilets and showers in our tents. The showers might have been basic inside the tents, but they were welcome after our long game drives. The food at the camps was delicious and there was plenty of it. Miti Mingi Eco Camp (Masai Mara) also had electricity and plug sockets inside the tents - perfect for the charging of cameras/phones.
The game drives were incredible. Noah managed to find the best spots to show us the animals. His ability to navigate round the National Parks was impressive. We saw all members of the Big 5, some more than once and in total 31 different species of animal. In one day inside the Masai Mara we saw: 7 cheetahs; 9 lions (male and female); a leopard; hippos, giraffes, buffalo and elephants galore...too many other animals to count! We saw thousands of wilderbeest due to the Great Migration from the Serengeti to Masai Mara, as well as zebra, impala, hyenas and warthogs. The memories of these animals and the stunning scenery will last a life-time. Again, Noah's knowledge about the animals was fantastic and he shared facts with us about them frequently.
We were pleased we added Lake Nakuru to the start of our trip. It was here we were treated to the rhinos. We saw 5 in total, both black and white, which was amazing!

This was an fabulous trip and we highly recommend it to others. Great value for money and great people at Genesis of Adventure. I would absolutely use this company again.
