All the arrangment were made for us and it made our holiday stress free.

Excellent customer service by Cardboard Box Travel Team
When I decided to take my family for a trip to Africa, I wanted to find a country where I can self-drive around and an agency who will help me customize my itinerary and take care of the bookings with no hassle. I couldn't have found a better agency than Cardboard Box Travel, and a better agent than Allison. In fact, the Cardboard Box web site was a primary reason I chose Namibia for my vacation; it has a wealth of information.
Allison was super great. Everything was handled very well, professionally and with great care. It couldn't have been better! She helped me customize my itinerary to my requirements and handled all bookings. I received all the information needed to make the trip great even before I started. Once I was in Namibia, the packages and information Allison had for us were sufficient to complete the trip. A particular highlight is that Allison and the team are super responsive by mail. All questions were answered and all bookings were made by mail prior to the trip start and it was hassle free.
My trip was great and thanks to Allison and Cardboard Box Travel for making it memorable.

Outstanding Personal Service - Making Africa a little bit easier!!
Being new to Africa I was quite nervous about solo travel. Cardboard Box took care of everything. I made a simple enquiry, next thing I knew I had a fully costed proposed programme with recommendations of things I should try. My consultant, Lilly, was patient, knowledgeable, quick, polite and informative. I almost felt as if she was as excited as I was about the experience I was about to get.
Arriving at the airport the knowledge that the car hire company are fully prepped to expect you and are used to dealing with this companies clients is a huge confidence boost - formalities are over with in a few minutes. On arrival at the first hotel you get a comprehensive pack of vouchers with helpful advice, maps, emergency numbers, local Sim Card etc. And then you are free to make your own way around frankly the most beautiful country I have ever experienced.
Africa can be difficult, even if it is always rewarding. Namibia has been made much easier by Cardboard box. I have now travelled with them three times in the last 15 months and I would recommend them to anyone. Whatever your Namibian requirements I would make Cardboard Box you first call - you may well find it is the only call you need to make!!

We told them the types of things we wanted to see and they took care of everything for a great price
We gave Lilly a basic outline of the types of things we hoped to see along with some general budget guidance, and she took care of everything. Amazing.
I don't know how they do it, but their price was also much better than some of the other operators we requested quotes from.
There were even some issues with reservations (not their fault it seemed) and they took care of everything super quickly and even upgraded some of our future accommodations for the "inconvenience".
I can't speak highly enough.

Fantastic knowledge of the region with an excellent customer focussed approach
I'm hugely impressed with Allison. She has a deep wealth of knowledge on Namibia (and Botswana) and matches the clients expectations with suitable options. She always provides excellent comments and narratives on the options offered. This is the second time we've use Cardboard Box and they continue to exceed our expectations.

A true gem in the travel industry
I cannot recommend Cardboard Box Travel Shop highly enough. My travel consultant was Lily. It started with a brief phone call (UK to Namibia !) and Lily suggested I detail my needs in an e mail so she could review and respond. Lily was outstanding. She was quite simply one of the best travel consultants I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She worked quickly and efficiently on all our requests. More importantly she was pro active rather than just reactive... a rare quality.. We had a brilliant trip - we will certainly use them when we are next visiting Namibia.

Cardboard Box Travel Shop was great!
Anita was fantastic! We were so excited about this trip and were often not sure which option to go with. She patiently guided us through all the choices. The guide book that was included in our arrival kit was also very useful.
It wouldn't be an adventure if it didn't have unexpected things come up, and the Cardboard Box handled the one hiccup we had with a B&B extremely professionally and resolved the issue for us. Overall we had a wonderful time in Namibia and it was largely thanks to the expert guidance provided by Anita and her team.

I googled to design my 2-weeks Namibia trip and came across Cardboard Box (among some other local and German agencies). Cardbox came back most solid with best advise and the perfect support against my specs and budget. My itinery foresaw stays in Etosha but Etosha was fully booked. CArdboard Box had capacity still and given their service responsiveness and price competitiveness I booked my entire trip via them. Also during the travels I had to change a location and their rep helped me tremendously to rebook while we were travelling. Excellent handling of our trip !

Self-drive trip thru Namibia
Unable to find a tour that fitted our desired itinerary and the time frame, I contacted several tourist agencies and among them the Cardboard Box Travel Shop. My initial inquiry was responded by Erika of Cardboard Box Travel Shop within hours, with a wide array of options not received from other companies. Erika was on top of each question I had and she provided invaluable advice pertaining to the driving distances and lodges. Simply, she provided answers and tips just about everything I asked and beyond. Our Vouchers for the lodges were delivered promptly to our hotel along with a road map of Namibia. The roads on the map were highlighted and each lodge and attraction was clearly indicated. In addition, the package contained a pre-paid telephone SIM card in case we experienced a mechanical break-down or other emergency. All lodges (as well as the Strand Hotel in Swakopmund) were outstanding. Also, I have to mention that we arrived at Kulala Desert Lodge later than anticipated and just before the Lodge attendant was preparing to send a vehicle with a crew to search nearby roads for possibly stranded tourists. If we are to travel again in Namibia, the Cardboard Box Travel Shop will be the only Travel agency we will contact.
