Great value for money and first class service
5/5

We did a three day safari round Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Manyara reserve. Top quality jeep with friendly and knowledgeable guide called John. He was a good and safe driver which was good as there are some nutters out there!! We had a number of requests to stop at various shops etc. and it was no trouble at all. John spent lots of time driving round the parks to spot animals and communicated with other guides to find good areas to head to.
Our accommodation was upgraded to luxury tents which was a real treat as had proper beds and a shower room & toilet out back.. All food and water provided. Quality hot meal for breakfast and dinner. Lunch was a pack up that was traditional African food so not amazing yet enough to get us by with a juice. On the last day John also arranged for us to have a tour of a Masai village so we got to see their huts and way of life.

Overall a great experience and one I would recommend. The hotel in Arusha the night before/after was of a good standard yet probably only a 2* in the U.K. so don't set expectations high. It was called Arusha tourist inn and food was poor so perhaps get a taxi to a local restaurant if you want to eat out when there - we went to Fifi's coffee house and it was great. I didn't feel safe walking in darkness in arusha so taxi a must. Enjoy!!

The Footslope experience was excellent. Friendly staff, well organised, fab glamping.
5/5

The whole experience was excellent. Excellent staff and communications. Loved the whole experience with Footslopes. The guide particularly was very knowledgable and attentive. The tents were so lovely and having one base for the two nights was ace also. The organisation also was spot on.
The only negative for me was the tourist hotel in Arusha and that was a couple of the staff were unfriendly, that was all. Thank you for the experience.

Had a great time seeing the Serengeti
4/5

Overall we had a really enjoyable experience on our safari. Camping in the Serengeti was a truly unique experience. The tour operators themselves were extremely warm and welcoming and really went out of their way to help us with our onward plans. Unfortunately we think our experience of the safari itself was hampered somewhat by the fact we were only two people, so footslopes aggregated us into a larger group with other tour operators in order to make it cost effective for them. For this reason I think we ended up with a guide who is not usually employed by footslopes, and we had some issues there regarding the quality of our tour and its organisation/timeliness. But overall we were satisfied and the footslopes guys were so accommodating and helpful when we returned back to Arusha after our tour. We think going forward they should focus on ensuring they have adequate group sizes for each planned tour so they don't have to put their guests in the hands of other tour operators, thus losing control of the quality of the service and risk unnecessary reputational damage.

Tarangire and Ngorongoro safari in October
5/5

My wife and I did a two day safari in Tanzania, on 13. and 14. of October 2016. as part of our honeymoon trip, and experience was really great, even better than I expected it to be.

We booked the tour with Mojhi.com about one month in advance, and Mojhi team connected us with Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris for further arrangemens concerning pick up, drop off and some safari details. Every step of that process was very smooth and eficient.

I would especially emphasise the effort that Gabriel and the rest of the Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris team made for us to enjoy the safari. Our inbound flight to JRO airport on the morning of the beginning of safari was delayed, so the group we were supposed to join had to leave for Tarangire NP without us. Even so, Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris arranged a special driver to take us to Tarangire so we could join the group and catch up with afternoon game drive through the park. Also, the other day was apparently a national holiday in Tanzania, so there were some complications with making a deposit in a bank, needed in order to get into Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We managed to get in even so, and had a really great day there. After the end of Ngorongoro safari we had to get back to Arusha, while rest of the group was bound to Serengeti, so again they provided a special driver to take us back to Arusha. They did all of that without any additional charge.

We were also very satisfied with accomodation, both the tents in the safari camp in Mto wa Mbu and a hotel in Arusha. Everything essential was provided, meals were served as agreed, so we really had an opportunity to rest and relax properly in both locations.

Our guide was professional and trustworthy and made our game drives even more interesting by providing additional information about the wildlife in the region. He was also very open to make some plan adjustments according to our needs.

Overall, we had an unforgettable experience of safari in Tanzania, and I can fully recommend Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris for thieir friendly and personal approach in organising our wildlife adventure.

Thanks again guys!

Big five;)
4/5

We did a 4 day safari with foot slopes on november 9,2016. There was a group of 6 of us with our guide and driver Omar and cook William.Omar was very knowlegable and patient and answered all of our questions. And thank to him we saw the big five and many many more. Chef was also good and kept us well fed. Nature is gorgeus and it really was like in national geographic. My favorite thing was sleeping in tent souranded with open plains and wild animals. The only thing that could be better is the state of showers and toilets in campsite but that is just the way africa is. Overall we are very satisfied with everything. Thank you

Great safari experience in Tanzania with Foot slopes.
4/5

Me and my boyfriend were in November on a 3-days Safari with Foot slopes. We visited Ngorongo crater, Manyara Lake and Tarangire. It was great. Everything was good planed. They picked us up on Arusha airport and brought us to our hotel. The next morning the safari started. Our driver was really kind, communicative and he also knew many things. The accomodation camp was great. It was clean and nice, all people were helpful, always smilling and kind. I would always go with them again.

Great experience
5/5

Overall a great experience with Foot Slopes. They answered all my questions before the start of safari promptly and provided the service just as promised. Our driver Juma was amazing. He had great knowledge of all the animal and plant species. I went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Maybe all the safari operators can think of ways to imrove food as some people had stomach issues, but Foot Slopes was great in taking care of people who had any health issues. I totally recommend it.

Very nice but...
3/5

I booked my safari tour through Mohji website. The communication was very nice and easy, I received quick and clear answers to all my questions before, during and after the trip! I did 2 days safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. The first day was perfect: good guide, good food, perfect organization, wonderful Park etc. The second was a bit harder: I planned to take my flight at Kilimandjaro airport after visitting Ngorongoro, and this was more difficult. We were all in a hurry because I had to take my flight, so the other ones, who had no flight to take, felt a bit frustrated to have to go fast sometimes. On my side, I was feeling guilty for the others, and I was quite stressed, because the guide wanted to satisfy the others, and we left the Park at 4PM (it was originally planned to leave it around 2PM so that I have time to reach the airport). The guide kept telling me: no worries, you have time! So in the end, I wanted to arrive at Kilimandjaro airport at 7.30 and we only arrived in Arusha around 7 (still more than 1 hour to reach the airport). They then provided me with a cab that drove super fast in order to arrive on time, I was super scared because it was night, and we sometimes drove at 100km per hour, slaloming between the cars. I arrived just at the end of the check-in, just on time.

So the only problem I really found was that mismatch between people having plenty of time and wanting to enjoy their safari, and me having to take my flight while they told me that would be no problem. Except this, everything was fine, nice and well organized. I can just recommend you not to include a safari day the day you have your flight, even if you are said it will be easy.
