great experience in the national parks of Botswana doing wild camping
5/5

we had booked a safari with Kalahari Breeze in the northern parks of Botswana (Delta, Savute, Chobe). We did wild camping for 7 days in the middle of the parks far away from any civilization. It was such a great experience and Kalahari Breeze made the trip as comfortable as possible. The freshly made food was wonderful and we had an excellent guide. Because of him we have seen all the different animals also the ones, which are shy and hard to find. We got great pictures of leopards and lions with their babies. All in all I can recommend to experience the adventure with Kalahari Breeze as they take good care of you and attend to your wishes as much as they can.

Trip of a Lifetime - Okavango Delta - Chobe - Vic Falls Tour
5/5

Thanks to Kalahari Breeze for a phenomenal tour!

Pre-Tour: After emailing Maria of an idea of what we wanted to see and the time frame/budget, she emailed me within 24 hours with an itinerary that fit our needs. Of course there were many questions before we said "yes" and Maria answered them all promptly. Paying for the tour was easy too. She sent a detailed itinerary that had every date, time and company we should expect to see that I printed and referred to in case I had forgotten what we were doing each day.

During Tour: So amazed at how smoothly things went. From every pick up point to the activities that were included (game drives, walking safaris, two boat rides). The camping on the delta was better than expected. The food was great considering there was no stove, oven, fridge, etc. I mean, we had baked lasagna and fresh baked bread!! And, the people were so friendly and just wanted to make sure you were comfortable. Of course the wildlife was fantastic and Victoria Falls was something that was on my bucket list. Definitely better than Niagara Falls (IMHO).

Someday I want to visit the Kalahari Desert and I will use Kalahari Breeze as my tour operator when I do.

The best introduction to the kalahari desert, with KBS,through Maria,Chris,Lizzie and staff !
5/5

We had our first experience of wild camping in Botswana with kalahari breeze safaris and came away feeling extremely satisfied with all our expectations met! It was our very first time in the wild with wild animals around us, yet,we felt safe. The staff,Salani, the guide were extremely good. The tents were comfortable and safe. The meals were gourmet in the middle of nowhere and our game drives were superlative! We experienced the best of views, photography and everything, soul satisfying! Okavango delta experience was out of the world, especially the viewing from the plane. Everything seemed so surreal. Going by the mokoro was a fabulous experience with hippos all around. Respect for wildlife was very much in place. There were no untoward problems and we returned completely satisfied. KBS arranged our transfer to Livingstone and visit to Victoria falls, which was a great experience. The icing on the cake for us was our stay at Pangolin photo safari resort, Kasane, also arranged by KBS. It was truly, truly exotic. We thank Maria, Chris and their staff for giving us our best experience in the wild.

Magical trip on africian safari in Botswana
5/5

I think very highly of Kalahari Breeze Safaris. We booked them in October 2018 for our June 2019 safari. Everything happened as they explained. Maria was patient and kind with all of my questions. We saw amazing wildlife and had a superior and outstanding guide - can't say enough good things about him. The camping safari was an adventure I'll never forget. I felt safe and well cared for throughout the entire time.

My safari Glamping = Glamor + Camping
5/5

My mobile safari was very comfortable, inside my tent, I had a camp cot and a mattress, with all the bedding, during the nights it was a little cold but the boys gave me a hot water bottle. Everything clean, my bathroom was attached to my tent and came with shampoo and towels. The food is rich and the menu is international. The guides know a lot about the local fauna! I have seen 4 of the 5 Big Five. And I have seen around 100 species of birds. To be an Economic Safari, I must say that I exceed my expectations. Because the boys take care of everything! Arm and disarm the camp. I just went to enjoy.

Brilliant Tour Operator
5/5

I have just completed a twelve day safari holiday in Botswana and Zimbabwe with the highlight being a mobile safari in the Okavanga Delta, Moremi and Savuti regions with the trip being organised by Kalahari Breeze.

The campsites were delightful, the tents very comfortable and the food delicious and this is before the expert walks and game drives that ensured that we saw more animals than we could have believed possible. The guides were very experienced in the terrain and animals and made us feel very safe.

All our dealings with Kalahari Breeze were first rate with them going out of their way to ensure that any question was answered and that we were always happy. Kalahari Breeze was able to advise on a range of safaris and build the itinerary around what we wanted to see and do.

I can recommend them unreservedly

Wonderful trip to the Okavango Delta and on to Victoria Falls
5/5

We did a private safari for 4 people through Botswana and to Victoria Falls with Kalahari Breeze Safaris. Had such a wonderful time!! The Kalahari Breeze team was very communicative and helpful in booking the trip. I had so many questions and ideas of what we might want to do, and they were so patient and knowledgeable in answering all of the questions! We ended up with such a unique experience of camping in the Okavango Delta, flights over the Delta and on to Kasane, and transport to Victoria Falls. We felt very well taken care of during the whole trip, and our guides and places where we stayed were always eager to help. Would happily book with them again!

well organised , safe, excellent guide and cook, with endless wildlife
5/5

Su and I decided on Kalahari after a wide search of safari company's, "big is not always the best". This small operation was flexible with attention to our needs and wish list. George visited our accommodation the evening before the safari, just to let us know we would be picked up in the morning and what time we would like to leave. At the start of the journey, George and Kaiser (guide) kindly stopped off at the warehouse,so as we could pick up some beer and wine for the adventure ahead.
The itinerary was great in that we started in Victoria Falls and finished in Maun and didn't have to back track , all along the way wildlife and bird life was aplenty. The abundance of sighting was greatly attributed to Kaiser's vast experience as a local and a guide, he was tireless in his effort to find wildlife, which was always rewarded with amazing close up viewings of animals ,such as wild dogs and all the "cats"
The camping was great and George always supplied plenty of wholesome food and camp was always set up in great locations , sure you could spend a lot more money and have more up market "glamping" but we often had more sightings than some of the "high end" safari tours.
At the end of the safari, Christopher (co owner) dropped into visit us on the night before we left Botswana just to see if everything was ok, get some feedback and if we needed any assistance.
Being a local company this on the ground personal service is a nice touch but importantly if something unforeseen happens, staff and owner are not far away.
I wish Kalahari all the best in the future (importantly all staff employed are locals)

Excellent tour operator/organizer!
5/5

Attentive to our wishes, easy communication by both email and phone with rapid responsetimes.
Fantastic experience for the two us travelling; 3+3 days in Botswana incl local flights between camps
(as recommended by Kalahari Breeze), and then as great topping also our travel from Chobe to Vic Falls
and the activities we opted for in Vic Falls.
Not cheap, but GOOD VALUE when compared to what the competitors offered!

Will no doubt book with Kalahari next time as well, no need to change a winning team.

Fantastic Company, Beautiful people, Amazing experience - 10 out of 10
5/5

The most difficult decision was which Company to choose for our safari as there are so many Companies out there it is quite a minefield. Our decision was based on the Company being based in Botswana for local knowledge, registered with the Botswana Tourism Authority, their ability to fit in with our time frames, adaptability, reviews and speed of response.
We chose Kalahari Breeze and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Kalahari Breeze is also not only locally owned and operated but also the money goes back to the communities to help sustain the local people and economy which was another plus for us
Maria, my contact answered every question I had with almost immediate response and was happy to accommodate any changes to their suggested itineraries to suit our own. Chris who is one of the owners and operators met us in Maun to make sure everything was going to plan and that we had had no problems or issues. This was a lovely personal touch which showed how much he cared about and valued his clients.
He is in constant contact with his staff to ensure everything goes smoothly and according to plan and to deal with any issues that may arise. The only small issue we experience was dealt with swiftly and smoothly by Chris and in no way deterred from our experience.
We were given a comprehensive itinerary prior to our arrival with detailed information of our trip including the accommodations, safaris etc. We had no issues at all with being met at the places specified at the times stated from pick-up at Victoria Falls airport to drop-off in Maun 11 days later.
Everything was well managed and we have absolutely no complaints at all. Everyone we dealt with were very helpful and such lovely people. Where we stayed, where we went and what we saw was amazing. Our expectations were exceeded
Our itinerary followed Vic falls, Chobe, Savuti, Moremi, and the Okavango.
Our guide Kaiser was fantastic with so much knowledge and experience. He was so diligent in his task as guide and driver and never gave up until he had found the animals we wanted to see. As well as a impala, water buffalo, giraffe, elephants and zebra we saw Hippos, wild dogs, hyena as well as 3 prides of lions and a leopard due to Kaiser’s tireless search!
We had the most amazing time especially on the 4 night mobile safari. Camping out in the wild was one of the most exhilarating experiences I have had and we felt extremely safe in the capable hands of Kaiser and George although there were Elephants, hyena and wild dogs wandering through the camp as well as the lions on the doorstep!!
We had also organised a self-drive safari through Namibia and had thought of doing the same through Botswana but so glad we didn’t. The roads are deep with few sign posts and many different dirt roads to follow (whereas in places like Etosha there are set routes and off-road is not allowed) therefore the likelihood of not only getting lost but driving around all day and not seeing anything is HUGE. Therefore we would certainly advise a guided safari in Botswana to get the most out of this amazing country and without a doubt recommend Kalahari Breeze to do this for you!!
Kalahari Breeze also organise self-drive Safaris in Namibia which we didn’t realise at the time but next time would definitely look at them to help us with this too.
Can’t recommend these Guys highly enough!
