Excellent Safari experience! I strongly recommend
Our first experience with African Jacana and definitely not the last. Our 6 day tour to Okavango was organized by Lucky who was always reliable, communicating at all times, friendly and patient with us. We did not have a clue of what Moremi Game Reserve is, but with his knowledge all became possible. I highly recommend African Jacana Safari Tours for any Botswana Safari. They are knowledgeable, veteran guides who have been working in the safari over 20 years, approachable and receptive. If you want to visit Botswana I highly recommend them.

beautiful day on mokoro boat trip with bush walk
We are not planners and arrived in Maun requesting a mokoro boat trip through the Okavango Delta for 2 for the following day. Not every company can do this but we were lucky to find African Jacana Tours with Lucky and Gideon and they were expeditious and courteous while booking in person, they even came to our campsite. They were very affordable, not only on time but early, and made us feel very comfortable and welcome guests. During the drive they were exceptionally friendly and offered lots of stories and answered any questions we had about Botswana. Our boat guide, Boca, was extremely knowledgeable and kind as well. we felt very lucky to meet him. If we were staying longer or booking more safaris in the future we would be sure to use their company again. Truly generous and inviting hosts with lots of great information!! Thank you so much for such a beautiful, relaxing, and wonderful afternoon!

Best Safari Operator we ever had!!
The excellent safari service!!! With my friends we went on a 14 day safari in tended camp with Lucky and his team. From the day we started communicating through emails until we met at Maun airport, it has been a wonderful journey, difficult to express in words the amazing, unique feelings we have experienced. The tour organizer Lucky has always been reliable and communicating well responding to our emails everytime we need clarification, everything was perfectly organized and managed, with professionality and much passion. Gideon is an excellent guide, makes you live the African life as nobody else can do. he knows everything about wildlife and share his knowledge as well as interesting anecdotes while driving during the day and chatting around the fire in the evening. Our chef Wilson prepared for us amazingly delicious food every day, always attentive to our taste and needs. the experience of the tended camp allow to really feel the beauty of the nature....Thanks a lot Lucky for the wonderful safari experience. A magical trip in Okavango delta
I've been lucky to make a safari with Gideon in Namibia and Botswana around the Okavango delta.
Thanks to his large knowledge on fauna and flora we have been able to see a lot of animals,mammals and birds and learn a lot about their way of life.
I appreciated the concern for the clients,the comfort and the nice food.All has been very professional.
You can choose that company and you'll come back with a lot of wonderful memories about a very beautiful country and its wild nature.

We booked a Mokoro Tour with them and a few hours later Lucky showed up to brief us and provide us with useful information. Nothing was too much trouble for these guides, they really helped us and answered all our questions. At no point did we feel unsafe, everything ran smoothly. They are professionals who know how to adapt to the needs of a group and they did a marvelous job for us.
If you'd like to support the real people of Botswana, instead of another foreign company making money off the tourists, I urge you to set up your tour them.
To sum up this company provided us with a first class, prefect safari and at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate in booking with them again or recommending them to family and friends. You won't be disappointed with them.

Magnificent tour - professional team
Recently visited the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Savuti, Chobe and the Victoria Falls. Our semi Participation Camping Safari was perfectly organised by Gideon Kamutati and his awesome team.
Botswana offers a wide diversity of landscape, flora, and fauna. We had an unique journey and the most impressing experience with wild animals we have ever encounted. Thanks to the long-term experience of our guides we learned not only about the wilderness and the ecological system but also about the rich cultural traditions of the Batswana and their diligent and ongoing efforts to build sustainable conservation economies in their country.
