Fantastic time in Uganda with Budget Safaris Uganda
5/5

I had an amazing time in Uganda, the pearl of Africa, with Peter and Andrew. Travelling alone as a single female, the trip was perfectly tailored to fit in everything I wanted to see and do, even my Compassion sponsor child visits. I had a great time travelling across the country as we trekked the Gorillas at Bwindi Impenetrable forest, saw lots of game including lions, elephants and giraffes at Murchison Falls, saw the source of the Nile at Jinja and just everywhere that we travelled, all the activities that had been arranged and the people I met along the way.
It wasn't just a great holiday - I fell in love with Uganda as they showed me their beautiful country and the beautiful hearts of the Ugandan people.
I began the tour as a client, I finished the tour as a friend.
I definitely recommend Budget Safaris Uganda to anyone travelling to Uganda.

Great experience
5/5

In one word - Amazing! We started in Kampala and headed to Bwindi, we saw the Gorillas along with other small primates, it was spectacular to see the Gorillas so close.. After Bwindi we journeyed to Queen Elizabeth where we saw lots of Lions and hippos! Loved the accommodations, felt like we were taken care of in every way. A trip of a lifetime and all arranged by the caring staff at Budget Safaris. They asked what we wanted to do, listened to all our requests and made it happen for us. Such a smooth trip from start to finish.....

Friendly and experienced tour operator specialized in Uganda
5/5

My trip to Uganda was great! Budget's head guide showed us all the highlights of Uganda and explained a lot about the country. Overall we had a very well organised trip to Uganda, with the best guide you can have, we didn't have to do anything except relax and enjoy. Great wildlife and nature. A great African experience!

Excellent Experience - Highly Recommend!
5/5

Myself and two friends took a 7 day safari with Budget Safaris, we went with this tour company after receiving a recommendation from a friend who travelled with them last year.

Our first stop was Murchison Falls National Park, it was a beautiful park and one of the best I have been to in East Africa. Our driver Peter provided us with excellent opportunities to take lots of great photos, he was patient and made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour, we never felt like we were being rushed anywhere, it was great.

After Murchison Falls we went to Chimpanzee trekking in Queen Elizabeth National Park, it was a great experience made even better by the easy to follow tracks. The following day we went on a boat cruise and saw lots of hippos and crocodiles both in the water and on the shore. That evening while the sun was setting we set out on an evening game drive and saw lots of wildlife, the sun setting in the background was a bonus. It was beautiful.

Bwindi was our next stop, our permits allowed us entry into the south entrance of the park. All the park guides were very helpful during the treks. After some time trekking we were with the Gorillas, it was amazing to see how the interact with one another, we were amazed at how close we were to these beautiful creatures. They don't call it one of the greatest animal encounters on the planet for nothing!

We selected budget accommodation for the duration of our tour and all accommodations were more than adequate, clean rooms with hot showers and most lodges had Wi-Fi :) The trip passed without one incident. Budget Safaris vehicle was in excellent condition to handle the tracks in the parks. I highly recommend Budget Safaris for the outstanding service they provided at a VERY reasonable price.

Great tour company, all the guys are very professional and looked after our every need
5/5

Myself and my wife travelled on a 5 day tour which included visits to Murchison Falls National Park and Bwindi Forest. Uganda is a beautiful country wrapped around the equator, it has an extraordinary landscape. We found the people to be extremely friendly and enjoyed many conversations with locals along the way. Our tour leader Peter had arranged visits along the way, they included stop offs at villages and schools to meet the real people of Uganda, we found this gave us some of the greatest insights into Ugandan culture.

Budget Safaris are a great company, they over delivered on everything.it was just perfect! We hope to come back and visit in 2015 except this time to do a 10 day tour.

An adventure full of life, for life
5/5

kennedy safari tours ticks every box, the safari was catered to everyone individually and the interests of the guest were very much so taken into account! The journeys from each national park to another were just as amazing as being within the main destinations, this trip gave me a raw insight into what uganda has to offer and it couldn't have been made more authentic, thanks to colm and Peter.
It soared way above my expectations making everyday a highlight, the tribal and community visits were eyeopening and the adventures of hiking and swimming was something spectacular!
I will be returning to Uganda with Kennedy tours in the near future for sure

Perfect blend of adventure and relaxation
5/5

This trip had so many iconic East African experiences, and was just so much fun. If you want to go on safari and also want to experience real Uganda, go with these guys.

I loved the mystery of going on a trip I hadn't planned myself. We received an itinerary but I purposely didn't look up anything as I wanted to the excitement of seeing genuine new things, a hard thing to achieve these days. I put my trust in Colm & Peter and they didn't disappoint. The beauty of the country and the warmth of the people surpassed all expectations. There is so much to see and do in Uganda I came home with a list of things I'll have to go back and do.

What I liked about Kennedy Safari Tours was that they were fluid and easy going. They really listened to what the group wanted in this really discreet way, and then just made it happen, they didn't miss a thing. They knew I was into birdwatching and managed to fit that in for me even though it wasn't planned. In fact if you're into birds in any way, you need to go to Uganda. Every hike or game drive we went on we encountered incredible birds, and the local guides were more than happy to identify them.

They use guides who have decades of experience and who are passionate about their parks and the animals. They're responsible, especially when bush camping and leave no trace. Much of the accommodation we used were community projects run by locals, so in this sense they are really supporting small local business, and in turn their wider communities.

What I also liked was that the guys were as excited by the wildlife and the things that we encountered as we were, so it felt like we were all enjoying the experience together. Small subtleties like that make for a more authentic experience.

The trip was so affordable. They have obviously put in the time and effort to seek out an itinerary that is affordable without having to leave anything out, whether you're a volunteer, a student or just someone who wants a rich experience that you don't have to spend a lot on. I feel like I could go again next year and it not be a big deal, with flights from Ireland being so reasonable.

It's hard to pick a highlight as I genuinely loved every day. I loved the wild and remote places like Kidepo National Park, river swimming and standing under waterfalls in Sipi Falls, also the coffee tour in Sipi Falls. Safari from a boat on the Nile in Murchison Falls NP when we saw a herd of elephants drinking along the shoreline. The stunning trek to the Ik Tribe and the whole experience of meeting the tribe was very special. Evening game drives, early morning game drives! Tracking chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and getting to spend the whole day in the rainforest. The food! ( Thank you Peter! ) All things I'll never forget.

An experience of a lifetime
5/5

This holiday from beggining to end surpassed all expectations and could not reccomend Kennedy Safaris enough! When i arrived immediately picked up from the airport and brought to the accomodation. The whole trip was immense from start to finish, appreciating the beautiful scenery on our journeys from park to park and also getting to see the real side of Uganda by visiting local tribes and talking with rural Ugandans. The games drives were second to none, getting to see chimps in their natural habitat within arms of them, lionesses out on the hunt, watching a herd of elephants knocking over trees to forraging the leaves, hyenas out on the an early morning hunt, the dozens of hippos on the bank of the nile whilst on a boat trip there is so much more but people need to see it for themselves.

I cannot recomend Kennedy safaris enough as you get to see the real side of uganda and the tour guides Colm & Peter are second to non with their local/wildlife knowledge and also the local meals cooked everyday giving you the real taste of Uganda.

IF you decide you to go to Uganda - make sure its with Kennedy Safaris for an authentic Ugandan experience!

10/10
