The perfect safari experience in every way
The safari guides Mark and Sean were both brilliant - so knowledgeable and informative. I mostly went on drives with Sean and I thought he was an absolutely fantastic guide, patient and good at listening and answering questions, showing such a wide range of knowledge about the camp, the birds, the animals and the park itself - I learned so much from him, we all did. I did the canoeing with Campbell and Chris who were both extremely reassuring, especially Campbell whose canoe I was in.
The staff back at the camp were all so friendly and helpful too, and couldn't have been more accommodating and patient with such a large group. Our tents were looked after beautifully and the water delivered so discreetly. Robin, who was our main contact at meals, was so kind and sweet, telling us what was on the menu each night, and then serving us so well at every meal. He was so patient as we often took ages to sit down after our drinks, gazing at the view and talking too much! He was courteous and helpful and always very efficient and professional.
With such a large group it must have been so hard for the chef and kitchen staff to work out what to cook and to cater for so many. The food was all absolutely delicious and there were so many gluten free options as well.
I was very impressed and would like to thank all the staff for making our trip so fantastic.

We stayed for 3 nights with Marc. We enjoyed it a lot, because of the magnificent nature experience, the very good food and last not least Marc and his wunderful guiding.

Friendly, professional, accommodating, excellent service.
It seems expensive but a lot goes into it and it really is a unique experience you will never forget. Camping under the stars, the animal sounds all around you, the great food, the constant pack up and set up- it’s worth every penny. Thomas’ food was excellent and Titch just k ew exactly when to pause and go to keep us safe and moving along. Would highly recommend. We did it with our 3 late teen and young adult kids. A wonderful experience. Thanks to the whole team at Natureways!

Well-planned knowledgeable careful tour operator who provides an incredible unforgettable experience
We had a wonderful nine days paddling down the majestic Zambezi River! It was a magnificent experience through a remote area with animals in the river and along the side that are free - a true wildlife experience where you are living as close to nature as you can get. Sleeping in a dome tent with just mozzie netting above at night was truly magic - a billion stars to watch as you fall asleep, and that after a beautiful sunset every evening. I miss the Zambezi now.
Our guides were delightful - knowledgeable, good communicators, and very careful with our safety. The food was excellent - we were continually amazed at the delights that can be produced on two gas stoves! Our guides worked tirelessly from early morning till after the guests were asleep to make sure the trip ran smoothly.
Many thanks to Campbell and Thomas for a remarkable 10 days in our lives! xxx
Superb guides and an unforgettable experience
Natureways looked after us from the moment we touched down in Harare. Our flight was delayed, but by the time we landed, they had made alternative travel and accommodation arrangements, which we very much appreciated .
Our overnight stay at Hornbill Lodge was just what we needed after lengthy long haul travel. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax.
The fish eagle Safari down the Zambezi was for us a unique and exciting adventure. Our three guides Kambel, Crispin and Patrick were superb. They are amazingly sharp sighted.
They looked after us 24 hours a day. Kambel was particularly knowledgeable and taught us all about the wildlife, birds, Flora and fauna as well as the traditions and cultures of Zimbabwe. We spent many happy hours chatting as we paddled along and around the stove in the evening.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly appreciated the care that was taken over dietary requirements.
We had several close encounters with animals, but the presence of our guides ensured we always felt safe. I would highly recommend the canoe Safari to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature.

One-in-a-lifetime Adventure!
What an adventure! We loved our trip with Natureways Safaris. Beyond the superb logistics, good food and comfortable camping equipment, we felt safe and were able to take in the full experience, knowing that our guides were knowledgeable and responsible. I would highly recommend the 3-night canoe tour.

Perfect
We had the most incredible 4-day canoeing adventure with our amazing guides, Thomas and Tich. From the very first moment, they made us feel completely safe and taken care of. Everything was beyond our expectations: paddling among hippos, crocodiles, and elephants, enjoying delicious meals under the stars, and falling asleep in our tents with the magical sounds of nature all around us. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget – absolutely unforgettable!

Had a great experience with loved ones on the Zambezi River, my favourite place in the world. Very knowledgeable and experienced guides navigated all of us precisely and securely through various river channels and exciting animal encounters.
