Really amazing, we got to see so many animals and Dennis was a very knowledgeable guide
- saw a lot of amazing animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos and cheetahs, and we got really close to some of them too
- our guide, Dennis, was really good at sharing interesting facts about the wildlife
- accommodation was great, I stayed at Lenchada tourist camp and it was very cosy and characterful
- Very good value for money
- the group-joining element of it made it really fun, it was a lovely group. Just be aware that it takes a bit of time to pick everyone up from different accommodations each day, but it was worth it

Wonderful experience in a 4 day safari
Unforgettable experience, 100% recommended. Our guide KIKITU made our stay much more entertaining. He did his best and even more to give us the perfect spots and to feel comfortable at every single moment. He was the best guide we could ask for. When we come back, we will ask for him to be our guide again, for sure.

Lenchada is a reputable company that offers a great budget friendly safari.
We did a 7 day budget friendly private safari visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hells gate, and Amboseli. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and we have our guide Richie to thank for the most amazing experience.
We were lucky enough to spot the big five, but it was way more than just the animals that made this trip unforgettable. Getting to know Richie, visiting the Maasai village, bike riding in hells gate, learning about the culture, taking a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and the scenic drives from each park made the trip extra special.
Richie was so kind, humble, patient, and professional. He has never met a stranger and is friends with everyone. He is also well educated and taught us so much about all the animals and the culture. He was an excellent driver and we felt safe the entire time.
We felt like the accomidatins were exactly what we signed up for. The tents were as nice as they could be for being tents. You had a nice bed, hot water, and a toilet. The hotels were a nice break from the tents and very clean. Whether we were in a hotel or a tent, the staff was always extra friendly and accomidating. The food was buffet style and very good. I have no complaints and was happy with our accommodations for what we paid. It was also fun meeting other guests from all around the world and sharing experiences.
Booking a safari online from another country can be intimidating, but Lenchada Safari is a great company and all we had to do was show up and everything was planned. Communication was efficient, accurate, and easy. I would recommend this company to all my friends and for them to request Richie as their guide. It was worth every penny and an memorable trip.
Lenchada is perfect when looking for a budget friendly company, giving you a great safari experience
I’ll start by saying that our guide made this experience 10/10. Richie was great right from the get go. He knew the answers to nearly all of our questions, and the few that he didn’t know, he was quick to research it and get us the answer. And he knew more than just the animals. He taught us about the culture, geography, food. Anything to do with Kenya, he knew something about it. With so many people doing safaris, sometimes it can feel crowded in the parks, but he always knew how to get us away from the crowds and helped us have such intimate experiences with the wildlife and the surroundings. He was polite and professional, and we felt more like friends than simply just patrons for his company. I can definitely say that if not for Richie, we wouldn’t have had such a great experience. Our tour could not have been any more perfect, as we saw all of the big 5, and even some other rare and uncommon animals. Communicating with Lenchada safaris was easy and straightforward, and they were accommodating with our schedule. We booked a “private” safari, meaning it was only the 4 of us in our group. I would recommend going that route, as we were able to move around the truck more easily, and weren’t restricted to anyone else’s schedule but our own. We had a 6 night/7 day safari, and the accommodations were as expected. 2 nights in a camp at Maasai Mara, 1 night each in hotels at Nakuru and Naivasha, and 2 more nights in a camp at Amboselli. The camps were very nice considering you are in a tent. They had flushing toilets and hot showers, and the food was always delicious. The hotels were as nice as any other hotel, and were a nice break from the camps. Unless you are bougie and need an air conditioned room to sleep and unlimited hot water, then I see no need to book through a luxury safari operator. Because at the end of the day, we had the same views of the animals as those luxury companies. I’ll be telling all of my friends that they should book a safari, and I’ll be extra telling them to book through Lenchada and request Richie

Amazing people that provide amazing experience
We had superb tour guide Leroy, which made our experience the best. We had 5 days, Masai Mara - Nakuru - Naivasha trip, every day Leroy did something fantastic to provide us with the good emotions only. Also, he was informative, caring and we felt safe all the time. We also came close to many animals and we were in many places with no other cars at all (even tho it was almost the start of the season).
Wanna thank our manager Collins, who also answered all the questions before booking and made the whole process easy. Thanks a lot guys, from Egor, Vika and Nastya!

it was perfect
We had an amazing time in the Masai Mara thanks to our fantastic guide Wycliffe! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw so many animals – including lions, elephants, and even a cheetah. Everything was perfectly organized and he really made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable trip
We had Andrew for our safari. He was a very careful driver and stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo. When he got any tips from other drivers about sightings of animals he would take us there immediately. We had seen a large herd of elephants crossing in front of our jeep. Then an hour later another herd of zebras crossing! Just when we couldn't believe our luck, a lion walked gracefully in front of us. The experience was much better than what was hoped for. Everything was great until we were told about the demonstratons around the county. On the last day of our safari, Lenchada instructed Andrew to take us back to Nairoibi early in the morning at 5.45am so that we could arrive at the capital Nairobi before situations got worse . There was concern on the safety passing some townships on the way to Nairobi too. Leaving early in the morning to avoid unforeseen trouble on the 5 hour drive to Nairobi, but it also meant that we had to miss an early visit of the national park. We were happy with the arrangement as we had spent a whole day inside the national park the day before and to us safety was always the top priority. Andrew did make two stops for us to take some amazing photos of the sunrise against the Mount Kilimanjaro. When we were getting near the city centre in Nairobi, all the main roads were empty and we could see people gethering. We made it into the hotel just in time as and an hour later, there were crushes between demonstrators and police and tear gas were everywhere in the city centre. If We had not been back an hour earlier, we could not have been able to go anywhere near the city centre and our hotel. We are extremely grateful that the tour company Lenchada and Andrew the guide got us back safely. We loved our safari holiday and we hope we could come back again to beautiful Kenya.

Once in a lifetime experience!
I had booked a 3 day 2 night Safari experience and had one of the best times of my life. I got picked up and dropped on time. I had LeRoy with me as our driver and guide. He was just amazing. His knowledge and love for the Mara was very evident. He knew all the hot spots for the animals, knew the history, the mannerisms and kept us informed throughout. He gave us the best viewings and got close to the animals without disturbing them so that we can get some good pictures. I am vegetarian so he kept a check of me and made sure I got something to eat. It was fascinating to drive around the mara, see the animals up close and the scale of it all.
