A dream come true - Gorilla trekking
Richard who was my tour guide is an amazing person and I give him and his company my best recommendation.
I got in contact with Richard through a friend in Denmark and this was the best thing that could ever happen.
I called Richard and told him what I wanted to do and my budget. Let me be honest I did not give him an easy job. I basically just wanted to go on Gorilla Trekking in the other end of the country, in the most expensive season, alone, on a low budget, all parameters which don’t really go hand in hand. Even though I put Richard on a hard mission he managed to deal with it, to give me my dream trip. I will be forever grateful for the experience he made possible and made my biggest dream come true.
I had the most amazing experience trekking the Gorillas in Mgahinga National Park which was a dream come true.
As getting around in Uganda consist of a lot of driving I of course got to know Richard. He is a funny, careful, understanding, and sweet young man who knows a lot, and doing a trip with him will definitely not be something to regret

We had a fantastic time with Richard exploring Uganda.
Our family spent two weeks in Uganda. Our son, working in SW Uganda at the time, booked with Asiimwe Richard from inside the country on advice of local friends. Our son had definite ideas about some remote places far from the SW that he wanted to experience. Along the way, we visited Kidepo, Murchison Falls and Queen in Richard's very capable Land Cruiser. His university-trained professionalism, local knowledge, interpersonal skills, expert driving and common sense combined with the magnificence of the country to keep us feeling secure and able thoroughly to enjoy the people, terrain and wildlife. We saw crocodile, elephant, hippo, ostrich, leopard, hyena, and (simultaneously!) lion and cheetah. Richard is very intelligent, thoroughly competent and has our absolutely highest recommendation. Those two weeks provided memories for a lifetime.
Our communications, the service, the safari were all excellent and lived up to or exceeded expectations.

Outstanding! Honest, knowledgeable and highly professional. I felt like I was travelling in a movie!
Everything was faultless, we received clear schedules. We were woken up in good time to ensure we reached our various destinations and adventures in a relaxed and highly enjoyable journey. Made stops at lots of points of interest which enriched our adventure.

Amazing experience, can't wait to go on another safari with Richard!
We were in Uganda for our son's wedding, so had not really had much time to plan out a safari. Richard was able to put together very quickly a tour for us. We had a great experience, and Richard was very knowledgeable about the animals. We were able to view a herd of elephants crossing the road, and a rare sighting of a leopard . The accommodations were good, and with more time Richard will be able to custom tailor to your specifications. We will definitely use him again if we get the opportunity!

A wonderful life time experience full of fun.
It was my first time visiting a Widelife Reservation Centre and I was initially apprehensive. My apprehensive soon gave way to fun in the hands of our able tour guide, Richard who thrilled us with stories about Uganda and the Widelife Centre. He made sure we visited all the different animals at the centre with the guidance of the Widelife centre guides. We latter has food and drinks.
The trip to the Source of the Nile and Lake Victoria was equally thrilling. We had lots of fun with the Deejay and music on the cruise. We ate deep fried Tilapia fish and drank Nile Special beer. Richard is really good at this job. Kudos to him.

A pleasure from start to finish!
I was skeptical and worried before we got to Uganda but not one single thing went wrong. Our guide Richard (Asiimwe Richard Kacururu) made sure that we were well looked after wherever we stopped. He also negotiated on our behalf and made sure that we were placed in the correct group for our gorilla visit. He made sure that we saw and experience both people and animals beyond my expectations.
