It was amazing!
We had an absolutely amazing time! Demi was a little nervous at first about sleeping out in the wild among the animals, but she felt completely safe throughout the whole experience. The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and always knew exactly what was safe and what wasn’t. Because of that, we never felt unsafe. It was truly a fantastic experience, and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer tour. Thank you so much again for everything! ❤️

An amazing unique experience
We had an absolutely wonderful safari in Botswana, and I cannot recommend this company enough. They are a small local operator, and if you want a high-quality safari experience while being truly close to nature, for half the price this is the company to choose.
Throughout the entire booking process, they always replied very quickly and patiently answered my thousands of questions.
We visited Moremi, Khwai, and Chobe. We camped out in the bush, with giraffes, elephants, and hippos walking right past our campsite, and fell asleep listening to the sounds of the animals. On our last night, we even had lions hunting a herd of buffalo right next to our campsite.
The food was excellent (with vegeterian option) and somehow the cook always managed to have every meal ready the minute we returned from our game drives.
Our guide, Kaiser, was amazing. You can tell he has a lot of experience. He was excellent at finding and tracking animals and always made sure we were in the right place at the right time. We even got to enjoy completely private sightings of both lions and a leopard.
I have been on many safaris, but I have to say that Botswana is one of the very best destinations. I also highly recommend the night game drive in Khwai.
I will definitely be booking with this company again when I return to explore the Kalahari Desert.

I exchanged more than twenty emails with this travel agency before finalizing the itinerary. They were very patient. During this process, I changed the dates, and they also met our requirements. The tour guide, housekeeper, and chef worked diligently, were clean and hygienic, and very responsible, giving us an unforgettable trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Botswana Mobile Safari – Beyond Expectations
Our mobile safari with Gates of Afrikan Safari (January 31 – February 17) was absolutely exceptional. From our arrival in Maun to ending at Victoria Falls, everything was perfectly organized and executed.
The service was outstanding from the very start. We were warmly welcomed at the airport, and throughout the trip, the team selected breathtaking campsites in prime wildlife areas. Some nights we had lions astonishingly close to camp — an experience that felt thrilling yet completely safe under their expert care.
Our guide, Kaiser, was phenomenal. His knowledge of the bush, wildlife, terrain, and Botswana’s history was remarkable. What truly impressed us was his tracking skill. He didn’t just drive around hoping for sightings — he actively read the land. Thanks to him, we saw 67 lions, cheetahs on two separate days, two leopards, and three different packs of wild dogs — my husband’s birthday wish!
Beyond the game drives, Kaiser made the experience deeply educational and engaging. We especially loved our mealtime conversations learning about animals, ecosystems, and local culture. His passion and expertise added so much depth to the safari.
Our camp chef, Super G, created incredible meals, including delicious vegetarian dishes for my husband. His fresh bush bread and surprise birthday cake rivaled any bakery back home.
Machana (“Magic Machana”) made camp life effortless — hot showers, seamless setups, and anticipating our needs before we even asked.
Together, this team delivered a flawless, authentic safari experience. My husband had the most memorable birthday of his life, and we left with memories we’ll treasure forever.

Kaiser gave us a very memorable safari.
Kaiser was our guide on a safari to Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta for a week at the end of August 2023. We had a truly phenomenal experience. Kaiser was extremely knowledgeable. He spotted animals hidden in the surrounding landscape that we would have never seen. He was friendly, personable, and professional. We would highly recommend using him as a guide.

Incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy -- book now!
I can't recommend Kaiser highly enough. Our family of five took his safari through Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta. He spotted hundreds of animals and gave us great insight about each of them -- I came to see the animals as complex and intelligent and left Botswana with a desire to be more environmentally conscious.
Several times we remarked that we had the best guide in the park (when comparing Kaiser's spotting skills and ability to position our jeep in prime viewing location to other guides we encountered). The trip was priceless and one we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you Kaiser!

Unparalleled local knowledge and integrity
More than two years after we originally booked our safari with Kaiser and Holiday Diary Mobile Safaris, our family was finally able to enjoy eleven amazing days in Botswana. Our experience was better than we dared to hope.
Kaiser's knowledge of the plants and animals made us feel like we were living in a nature film. Not only did he know where to find every animal, but he was able to share with us fascinating details about their lives, habits, and relationships with local peoples that greatly enriched our understanding of Botswana's unspoiled natural environment. We were impressed in particular with his knowledge of both large predators and birds--a rare combination in any guide.
Kaiser's knowledge of Botswana's roads, campsites, and logistics was also outstanding. He chose spectacular campsites that were comfortable yet peaceful. When unusually wet weather forced a change of plans, he was able to reroute us to another enjoyable alternative. Our camp chef Nelson prepared delicious meals that complimented our experiences in the bush. Both of our hosts told amazing stories that made each evening in camp an unforgettable experience--and helped us learn basic bush sense to be a little safer in this wild place. They worked hard to make sure we were happy and comfortable every step of the journey.
As mentioned above, due to the pandemic, this journey took an excessively long time to move from booking to visit. In spite of rising costs since our original booking, Holiday Diary honored their original quoted charges to us; it's rare to find a company with both exceptional local knowledge and that level of integrity in its billing practices. I can't recommend Holiday Diary Mobile Safaris highly enough.

Very efficient and well organized trip
We had a very good trip in the end of november to Okavanago delta thanks to Kenosi. He was very patient with us when we prepared for the trip and changed our plans a couple of times because of flights to Botswana, and at the end of the day we enjoyed a very nice safari. Unfortunately we have not seen wild dogs, but apart from that we were lucky enough to see lots of other animals and in general the trip exceeded our expectations. If we go to Botswana ever again, we will try to use the same agency again.

wonderful trip!
It was an unforgettable trip. Kaiser is a very very good guide, really. He knows everything about animals. My husband was mostly interested in birds and Kaiser was an especially good guide. Enchanting experience
Kaiser deserves highest ratings and reviews as last July 2017 I went with my family on a 4 day trip to Savute, Khwai and Moremi indeed it was my second trip with him previous one was on December 2016, since he hails from Sankoyo village which is situated between Moremi and Khwai he knows the terrain like his backyard of his house with his immense and experience we managed to track down leopards, wild dogs and Lions.
When it comes to wildlife conservation he is a strict school master we learned a lot from him, at the end of our trip he became one of our family member.
If you are planning to explore SKL, Moremi, savute to Kasane and Delta region he is the right choice.
