An incredibly genuine fellow who only wants to show the beauty and history of Africa.
5/5

Nziza Hospitality is truly an amazing company. Bernard spent countless hours working with my family, joining our zoom calls for planning and making sure we had all of our questions answered. At each airport, Bernard or a representative from Nziza Hospitality would meet us, help up through the gates, carry our bags and see us off to our next destination. We never felt on our own which was very helpful navigating multiple countries we have never been to. Bernard also did an incredible job of paying attention to details and making our trip personal to us.( I won't spoil it so you can save it for your experience). Bernard also picked really great accommodations. The food for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner were hot and chef prepared daily with 5 star dinner at our tented properties. This was not just a very well planned trip, Bernard and his Safari drivers were VERY knowledgeable and genuine guys making this an educational and wonderful experience my family will never forget. We have 0 complaints or suggestions.
Thank you for everything!
And thank you for having us.

Didn't have to worry about a thing— Nziza goes above and beyond in taking care of their clients!
5/5

Where to even begin?! My husband and I have Nziza to thank for the most incredible, stress-free, and luxurious 5 day adventure through Uganda we could have ever imagined. From the start, their customer service was unparalleled— Bernard puts his heart and soul into this work and his responsiveness to our texts and calls reflected that. He listened to our wants and helped craft an itinerary that ended up containing two of our most unexpectedly beloved memories of the trip (chimp trekking and an evening boat safari). Even more impressive, when we realized we had our arrival and departure days wrong, Bernard immediately sprang to action and worked MAGIC behind the scenes to completely rework our entire itinerary to ensure we could still keep our highly-coveted gorilla trekking park pass and still hit everything we wanted to see. He even coordinated our flights out of Masai Mara before our time with Nziza and into Cape Town after our time with Nziza, which he could have easily said was beyond the scope of his responsibility. I can only imagine the amount of creativity and work that went into this, but Bernard never let us shoulder any of the stress.

Even before we arrived at our final airstrip to meet our driver, Nziza's above-and-beyond customer service wowed us. Our inbound flights were delayed throughout a long morning of travel, meaning we had to speed through the Entebbe airport to go through customs and connect to our final flight. Imagine our surprise when we get back on our final, tiny plane and find these beautiful vegan meals waiting for us on our seats!! UNREAL. This kind of empathy and attention to detail followed us throughout our trip, including a bottle of wine waiting for us in our hotel room (because Bernard remembered we were on our honeymoon) and samosas on our private boat safari. When my husband and I expressed that we hoped for a long gorilla trek to the furthest family (an unusual request, we were told!), our guide went into private investigator mode asking the rangers for inside intel and, in the end, got us into the group with the furthest trek. Those jungle hikes were unlike anything we had ever experienced and we continue to be so grateful to our guide for helping to make that dream come true.

For anyone thinking of visiting Uganda (or another country they offer) and who wants to ensure their tourism money is going to support a phenomenal local-owned business, I cannot recommend Nziza highly enough. We will be singing their praises for years to come and already look forward to our next adventure with them.

All to say, I will be singing Nziza's praises for years to come and am already dreaming of our next chance to travel with them again.

Westport Rotary Club visit to Kenya and Zanzibar
5/5

We (14 of us) did an 8 day trip to Kenya followed by 3 days in Zanzibar. Nziza (Bridget) planned and executed the entire trip superbly! We had three very comfortable and rugged Land Rovers with three very personable and professional drivers. They met us at the airport and took care of us for the week we were in Kenya then they met our second group and drove them to Uganda. When we added a couple of additional Rotary project sites to visit, they easily adjusted their schedule to accommodate us. After 3 days, two of our group got COVID, Bridget put them in very nice hotel on Lake Navaisha to quarantine and coordinated everything with the hotel. They rejoined the group after 4 days. I just can't say enough. Everything was planned and executed in expert fashion, from the hotels, flights and ground transportation, meals, baggage...EVERYTHING! If/when I come back to Kenya, Uganda or Tanzania, Nziza & Bridget will be my first call in planning the visit. I've already recommended them to several friends and family.

Highly personalized planning and attention. Top notch service all around!
5/5

I am thrilled that we opted to work with Bernard & Bridget, the Nziza Hospitality team. The trip was planned exactly as we desired. With our very specific interests it was well worth using a concierge service like Nziza and a private tour. They listened carefully to our interests down to the last detail and made our vision a reality. They arranged a private visit to a Maasai tribal community where we had the exact conversations and learning experience that I had hoped to have. Communication was fantastic before, during, and after the trip. Every last detail was considered. We visited Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Each stop involved a new guide and accommodations. All were superb. In particular, our Ugandan guide Martin was outstanding. A living encyclopedia! We learned so much. The lodges went above and beyond, in ways that I have never experienced, to accommodate my gluten food allergy. The chefs met with me each day to go over the options and even made special dishes just for me. We essentially had "gate to gate" attention to assist us even inside the airport. Wow. One flight between countries was delayed and Nziza team took care of every detail even making sure they hand delivered us lunch inside the airport during a layover since we were short on time! Wifi was available at all accommodations. One lodge had weaker wifi in the room (was strong in the main reception area) and there we were given a portable wifi hot spot device from Nziza to use for our convenience at this stop. They thought of everything down to snacks and water in the vehicle on longer driving days. The Nziza team was very responsive and helpful to our questions at all times during the trip. From the accommodations to food to guides to visits with the tribe to animal sightings and more, every part of the trip was top notch! We even decided last minute to add on some bonus options like hot air ballooning in Maasai Mara and meeting with scientist teams in the field, and the team made it happen flawlessly on little notice. I was SO impressed with every part of the trip. A magical journey that was made even better with such excellent planning, support, accommodations, and guides. Highly recommend!!!!

Truly are Magical Life Experiences
5/5

Africa was someplace I had thought about going to but never had high on my list of places to get to. Until circumstances lead me to go on a trip to Kenya in June of 2021, when Bernard, Nziza Hospitality and Africa changed me! I have been to Africa 3 times in the last year and loved each trip.

Bernard and Nziza Hospitality put together the most unique itineraries that include so many awesome experiences and lodging. From boutique hotels, to incredible lodges to the luxury safari tent experience. I love the diversity in the itineraries. He also plans your itinerary around where the animals will be at the particular time of year you are going, and he knows because he has grown up there and KNOWS Africa. I have fed the giraffes, gorilla trekked up a mountain, chimpanzee trekked through a forest, seen so many animals up close and in the wild, and gotten a massage on the banks of the Nile River, done beading with the Massai women and watched the most incredible sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro. These are just a few of the things I have experienced and there is so much more. These are the magical life experiences that I would have never dreamed of doing but made possible by Bernard and his team.

I already have two more trips planned for next year and beyond. I highly recommend Nziza Hospitality to put together the most unique itinerary, keep in constant contact with you to answer any questions you may have, be there to make sure everything runs smoothly when you are in destination, and give you a great value for the properties and itinerary of your dreams.

Great service
5/5

A small group of us used Nziza for a 7 day safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park and also the Gorillas in Bwindi. I'm a professional photographer and have experience with safari's and also have high expectations of the guides. We had Stefi as our guide and he carried great knowledge of the parks and the residents, from birds to the mega fauna. He was kind and patient, and he put together side trips within the itinerary, one day we visited the Batwa trip in the Bwindi forest and it was a very unique and surprisingly great extension, only a few hours....highly recommend it. The overall trip was carefully put together by Bernard, the owner of Nziza, who met us prior to our trip departure and went over the itinerary with us in person which was greatly appreciated by our party, especially since it was the first safari for my two travel companions, he answered all questions for us. I'm looking forward to bringing my family next time around for another trip with Nziza.

When my wife and I booked our trip in December of 2019, there was no way we could have known that a pandemic was around the corner. Our trip was effectively canceled before it started and we found it impossible to get refunded from airlines, hotels, and travel insurance. Big companies took our money and ran.

The largest investment we made was with Nziza Hospitality for our tour. We were scared we would lose thousands of dollars that had been saved up for years. Bernard didn't allow that to happen. He tirelessly worked over 6 months to refund every penny and kept me updated sometimes weekly on the progress. I have never been so impressed with the integrity of a business as I was with Nziza and its owner Bernard. Bernard lives a continent away and still chose to be honest, even when his business suffered during these difficult COVID times. Never has a business that I haven't used, come so highly recommended by me. If you're considering booking a tour with Nziza Hospitality, do it. You will be in the best, most honest hands around.

Trip of a life time with great guide but some improvement in scheduling and meal times.
4/5

The quality of the accomodations exceeded our expectations. Actual safari days took us to more animals than we could have expected. Beach day was great way to unwind after 4 days of safari and travel time. Maasai lodge visit was the highlight of the trip. Having a box lunch in airport waiting rooms was not acceptable to me on an otherwise luxury trip.
