Now in love with Namibia
How can words ever do justice to a trip that was simply unforgettable? You planned our Namibia journey with so much heart and expertise that we enjoyed every single moment. You took us to lodges and places we would never have found on our own. Every stop felt like a wonderful adventure.
What touched us most was that you weren't just "the travel planner"; you were truly there for us. Always reachable, with advice for every possible situation, and always with a warmth that is rare to find. We could tell that our trip mattered to you just as much as it did to us.

Rewarding and expertly led Kaokoland hike!
Kaokoveld Camino 2026!
I booked the Kaokoveld Camino as a single looking forward (with a little trepidation) to the group of strangers with whom I was to share this stunning experience. Ellen and her team: George, Ruben, Steve and Uno, made the group gel immediately. Meeting people like this is often the luck of the draw if no effort is made to make the group come together. Wild Cherry Adventures made a group of strangers into friends in no time simply by focusing on simple routines around camp and meals: eating restaurant quality food while wild camping greatly contributed to the sense of community. All we had to do was to walk approx 200 kilometres from Purros to Camp Syncro on the Kunene River. For those who've done the camino de Santiago the Meseta is often spoken of as a daunting task, in reality the 17 kilometres without easy access to water in northern Spain is nothing to the 200 kilometres in Northwestern Namibia, where endless expanses of space open the soul for more deep cleaning than the Meseta ever could. More a soulscape than a landscape the changing colours of the mountains and the plains, the wildlife and the fragrances of the shrubs and trees allow you to embrace the balm of nature, allow the lack of connectivity to internet to detox completely from the modern malaise of attention stealing apps. In the wild, your senses sharpen, your dreams in comfortable beds restore your sanity, and the outdoor facilities (shower and bush toilet) create a sense of luxury.
Just another mention of the food: the team caters for every type of allergy and preference. I am amazed at the quality of food, the standard of which was consistent throughout the trip. So much so I miss it so much. I have never eaten so well.
I also want to mention, that Ellen allows us to explore the landscape with just a few rules about looking out for each other and to respect the nature we travel through. Ellen's expertise is evident from the get go. I recommend Wild Cherry Adventures wholeheartedly and I am already planning on when to return to another of their caminos!

extraordinary trip !
It was an extraordinary trip to Namibia where I came back into contact with my own roots by traveling and living outside in the wild nature. Ellen and her team definitely keep their promises - they are tour professionals with heart and soul and you feel like you are in good hands. I'll happily do it again. :-)

Exceptional !!!
Did the Kunene Camino. Ellen was our guide together with Jaco, George and Steve that did the cooking, set up the camp sites etc. A group of 5 ladies from Franschoek joined us for the hike, lovely people. I must say we all formed a special bond during this time. Being in the Nature, experiencing that part of Namibia was wonderful. Wild Cherry adventures...thank you so much. Definitely going to join you for more caminos!!!

A wonderful expercience with an amazing guide and friend
We went for both a 4 days tour in Etosha and a 3 days tour in Sossusvlei with Wild Cherry Adventures.
What a great experience we had! Not only because of the stunning landscapes, amazing animals and very good facilities provided, but mainly because of our exceptional guide John!
We got heaps of information, great food (that man can cook!) and lots of fun, all thanks to him! Even though we had some rain, the experience was still great! All comfort was perfectly provided as well.
Don’t doubt to experience this adventure and go for it with Wild Cherry Adventures. You will not regret it!

Unforgettable memories of the Namib Desert
A wonderful tour, which was operated by Chad. From the start to the end of the tour, everything was perfect. You could see what you imagined through this adventure. What I really wanted to see through this Namib desert tour was not only desert but also some specific explanations about desert. In this sense, Chad was a real expert about Namib desert(If you are skeptical you can see company's profile). Also he became a good father to us, I could feel that in every moment of the tour. What I liked the most was he really enjoyed being out in the desert. The way he enjoys and organizes this trip, I was really impressed.

The most wonderful trip
I had two amazing weekends. One trip to Sossusvlei and one to the Etosha National park. Both were just perfect and so beautiful. Sedney, our Tour guide was simply the best. We had a lot of fun all the time and all of us were just happy. Great food, perfect organisation and the most dreamlike places and landscapes. I can not imagine a better trip. Thank you so much for the unforgettable time and the fantastic impression!

Great fun in Sossus!
Last october we had an awesome trip to the Sossusvallei Thanks to wild cherry adventures. Everything was perfectly organised. Our guide knew exactly what people expect of a trip like this.
He suggested a itinerary for us, but there is enough space to do whatever you want.
After all: great guide, good food, amazing scenery and awesome company.

Life changing trip
I had the best trip to Namibia and the highlight was absolutely my trip with Wild Cherry Safaris. Everything was well planned and met my expectations. My tour guide, Sydney was the best!!! He made sure we were all comfortable and happy and having fun. You will be very lucky if you get to travel with him!
