Perfect safari experience
5/5

We travelled alone, just my wife and me. Incredible. We wanted to do different things and they organized everything without any problem. We expended a lot of time doing game drive. The camping in general is perfectly organized and very comfortable aswell. But the best point is the crew. Sage is an experienced driver and a guide with a deep knowledge of wildlife. He explained us a lot of things about animal behavour and also different aspects of the country (traditions, history, orography...). Thula is a hardworker and a really funny guy (he showed me how to do a good fire). But you have to take care with the chef (I don't remember the name...sorry) because he made really nice meals and as a consequence I am on a diet. All of them made us feel like at home. So we strongly suggest you to do the safari with this company, if we come back, we will do.

These days were the diamonds in my life, I will keep them deep in my heart.

Family Masasa arranged our safaritour perfectly. They did everyday their best, and spoiled us. They teached us, what natur has to offer, gave us a save feeling and a home in the bush.
I admit, it got me, the african fever, and I know: " I have to get back."

Wonderful professional informative experience
5/5

They have a quick response time during reservations and the lead up to the safari.
The guide is very punctual, professional and informative. The support staff are friendly, helpful and go beyond the call of duty to ensure the clients have a comfortable trip.
The guide has good skills in tracking and animal behavior assessment.
Overall a very good safari experience.

This was by far our best African safari experience!
5/5

Four of us booked a safari with Bush Travellers Safaris (BTS) in October 2013. We were a little hesitant because we could not pay by credit card but had to transfer the fee directly to the company. But the price was very reasonable, compared to other companies, so we took the chance. This was the right decision. From the first greeting to the last goodbye, our experience was far more than we could have hoped for. We did not sign up for a luxury safari, as we wanted to help with cooking and camping activities. Besides, our previous week in Kenya was on the more luxurious side. BTS answered all our questions, in advance of our departure as well as throughout the safari. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and very skilled, with excellent English and a good sense of humor. Our cook was incredible, making everything from mac and cheese to pizza and a birthday cake over an open log fire. The assistant driver/guide did much of the hard work with good humor and no complaints. We felt our team enjoyed the trip as much as we did. We saw every kind of animal: lions, leopards, elephants, including those that walked through our campsite and ate our vegetables, hippos, birds of many kinds and colors. The tents were comfortable, bedding was supplied, and plenty of water was available for washing and drinking. The BTS team went out of their way to solve even the smallest problem. They quickly replenished the vegetables, for example, although we were far from any town. The landrover was comfortable and well equipped (unlike the one in Kenya). But above all, the BTS team became like family: we worked together, laughed together, and experienced together the wonderful country of Botswana. We felt perfectly safe at all times. We would recommend this company without a single reservation and would be willing to share more of our experiences and photos if BTS requests it.

Excellent and unique
5/5

knowing Bushtravellers and the owner Buxton from prevoius safari we decided once more to do a complete safari of two weeks again with them, starting in centrla Kalahari/ Deception Valley, endingup in Chobe National Park. This time safari (we decided on routing on our own, based on several previous visits to Botswana) was even better. Personal service, knowledge of son Sage as guide, quality of overall service was outstanding! The company is small enough to provide flexible service, tents are spacious and equipped with stretchers and sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, light and even a personal bathroom and shower!!!!! We were a group of six and enjoyed the service of a team of six, including chef Bani, who every evening prepared an excellent three-course tasty dinner. Vehicles, tents and equipment are in perfect condition. All campsites used were BOGA-sites and we always had place for our own, not being disturbed by others! Sage as guide and driver proved to be excellent.

We have visited Okavango area prior to this safari with other operators and can therefore judge and compare. If you think our rating sounds exagerating, simply test Bushtravellers yourself. Value for money is more than you can expect.

Amazing adventure
5/5

We made a 2 day trip to Moremi NP and had a fabulous time. Everything was well organized and professional managed. Bush travellers pepared an individual package according to our option, booking and communication were quick, easy and very friendly. The trip itself was amazing. Our experienced guide knew the hot spots at Moremi, so we saw lots of wildlife animals. We were caringly hosted by the BT team. The 3 course menu was freshly cooked and delicious. Thanks to Shuffle, Sage, Bunny and Lee for this unforgettable trip.

One of the best Safaris in my life!
5/5

For me it was the 4th time I did a tented Safari withs Bushtravellers. Each time it was a great adventure. We saw almost all animals you can see in the Okavango delta, at Savuti, at the Chobe river or in the Nxai pan.
This kind of Safari is the best way to explore nature. You don't have other people with you at the camping places and you can hear at night all the noises of the bush. In one word:

BRILLIANT!!!!!

(and by the way: it is the cheapest way to do a safari in Botswana!)

The third perfect time. One time with Kaeser and two times with Sage.

I will come back, see you and your perfect team again. Thank you very much, bye Miki.
