simply fantastic!
We are very happy to recommend Dennis & his company with a clear conscience. From start to finish we had a great experience. The whole team is just great. Esther was always there for us during the planning and organization and implemented all our wishes. When we arrived in Kenya, Dennis and his team met us personally and then handed us over to our guide Manu. Manu is exceptional!!! We learned a lot from him, he took us to the best spots, showed us all the animals, was always in a good mood and very courteous. He was completely responsive to our wishes, had a great sense of timing and we felt 100% safe and comfortable with him. At the end we were bid a warm farewell by Diana. Thank you very much!
The safari that was put together for us was just perfect & had everything! We saw different natural habitats, soooo many animals, the big5 several times! We learned a lot and took away unique experiences. The accommodations (Ziwa Bush Lodge & Mtito Safari Camp) were exceptionally beautiful and the food simply delicious.

Passionate about their work !
The tour started with them picking us from our Nairobi Airbnb on time. They gave all four of us welcome safari hats; which I loved (small details matter). I chose the Land Cruiser for our tour; it was the best decision because of how comfortable it is (please don’t choose a van; I saw people getting stuck on the road with that type of car). From the moment I requested the quote to the moment the Safari started the communication was SUPER fast! They will answer all of your questions through WhatsApp. Peter was our guide; he was super friendly and very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with confidence. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and kept us engaged the whole time. I was traveling with a 8 year old and he made sure to include my daughter in every conversation. His driving was excellent, smooth and cautious; we felt safe the entire tour. Thank you Peter ! :)

Amazing Safari Experience with Laxatrails
Highly recommend Laxatrails Safaris! My husband and I did a 3-day safari in April 2025. Upon reaching out to the company, Peter was helpful in finalizing our itinerary and accommodations. Our tour guide, Raheem, was wonderful! He knew his way around the park and was fearless when it came to searching for the animals. We are very grateful for his patience and expertise - we had an amazing and memorable experience. I recommend upgrading to the land cruiser - it made the trip very smooth and comfortable.

Adventurous
The safari with Laxatrails was AMAZING! My partner and I went on a 6-day safari, and from the very beginning, Laxatrails was super responsive — answering all our questions and tailoring the tour to our requests. They were always reliable and flexible, even when it came to the payment process.
The value for money was absolutely worth it, and the accommodations at our destinations (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara) were great. We decided to upgrade to a Land Cruiser for the whole trip, and it was the best decision ever. It came with an extra cost, but believe me, it was 100% worth it.
We were lucky to have an incredible tour guide, Mr. Moses. He did a fantastic job finding amazing animals, answering all our questions about them, and was always punctual and flexible with our requests about what we wanted to see. If you have the chance to book a tour with Laxatrails, definitely request Moses as your guide!

Great safari trip
I must say I was skeptical - amazing rates, immediate responses, easily adapting to our changing plans... What was the catch? Well there wasn't any! Peter, Dennis and our tour guide Moses were all amazing from the get go. They reorganized a cab to drop us off to our friends as our flight got delayed by a day on arrival. Moses got us to the best sights and we were lucky to see all of the big cats. The only thing I'd change is the itinerary (to just 2 parks in 6 days) as I felt we were on the road between the parks for a lot of the time. We also weren't very comfortable with the way we were hounded to pay a lot of money by the masai villagers on the village visit. It's also worth an upgrade to a land cruiser as it is a more comfortable drive. The sopa lodges were good (Naivasha and Nakuru being really good). Thank you Laxatrails for giving us a memorable holiday. 100% will recommend you to friends!
