reliable, punctual and good communication
We did our safari with Laxatrails, and it was truly the best decision ever! Dennis was always available, answering any question at any time, and went above and beyond to make sure my holiday was memorable.
All the accommodations were excellent, the food was delicious, and our guide, Moise, was simply fantastic. He always made the effort to get us to the best spots to see the animals, explained everything about the parks with great knowledge, and was also a very skilled driver.
If you’re considering booking with Laxatrails—just do it, you won’t regret it. For me, it was the experience of a lifetime.

Moses was very easy going and great to work with.

Incredible service, superb Safari
We researched where we wanted to go and what we wanted to try and see, then started looking at operators who offered what we wanted in our budget. This trip was a dream 40 years in the making, and we felt good about the contact, responsiveness and personalisation offered by Laxa Trails Safari.
The staff accommodated our desired itinerary, and our dietary requirements were met. When we arrived in Nairobi Dennis and Ben picked us up from our hotel and we had the best welcome. Dennis went over the admin with us then we set off for our 4 day adventure with Ben. Honestly, we can't recommend these guys enough. Ben was kind, interesting, fun and knowledgeable and really cares about the animals. He is a skilled driver and shared so much with us on our time on the road and in the parks, not only about the wildlife, but we had great conversations about life in general.
The tours were incredible. We saw all the animals we had hoped to see and so much more.
The accommodation options were comfortable, clean and lovely. We had an incredible experience and will definitely be booking with them again next time. 100% recommend.
We did 4 day private tour of Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. Outstanding.

Excellent experience, great guide!
We stayed in Kenya for 6 days, and it was an experience beyond our expectations(hotels could do better, but I had little expectations on the hotels, so it was all good)! Laxatrails was great - our van got switched to a nicer one because Peter and they worried that our first van would break down. Our guide, Peter, was super great! With his help, we saw all the animals we needed to see in the parks - just as example, on the last day there, we saw lions, 4 chetas, and 2 leopards ( the last 2 leopards were totally a surprise! Just because we wanted to see leopards, Peter took us leopard hunting for 2-3 hours, and in the end his patience pairs off!) our photographer, Wesley, was great too! He took really good care of us girls and made us feel more comfortable being around the streets. Anyway, it was an experience that we will not forget for a long time, and highly recommend Laxatrails, Peter and Wesley!

Laxatrails is a 100% safe, considerate and professional safari team!
Since me and my friends arrived in Nairobi where Laxatrails warmly and friendly welcomed us, our previous concerns about safari have gradually disappeared. Dennies briefly but specifically introduced our 6-day journey and we had a warm greeting from all team members. It made you feel safe as you clearly know there was a whole team to support your safari in Kenya.
And our two guides, Peter and Wisley are excellent! They are caring, considerate and humourous. Peter, our safari driver and main guide, always try his best to find the best angle or provide different angles for us to observe those gorgerous wildlifes so we can watch them safely and clearly. It is acknowledged that leopards are rarely spotted and we desperately want to see them,but Peter didn't let us down, he did everything he could to make it realize! He has efficient and reliable connections with other safari drivers to get updated info. Also, he is knowledgable about wildlifes, patiently introducing species, habitats, characteristics of different animals for us. Wisley, photographer, our other guide, actually is more like our bodyguard. He would make sure that none of us would get alone and dangerous so we literally feel secure during the whole trip and we could safely experience the local life. Both of them really did care about our physical health and emotion during the whole journey. Besides, they would always be there if we had requests or encountered any problems. For example, we want to try local papayas and they helped us find them in a local stall and bought them in a fair price.
The accomodation was good, beds were clean, the staff were kind. The only deficiency is that hot water and cold water is not stable in some of lodges. It is totally worth changing mini van to safari jeep, because of its larger space, you would feel very comfortable for a long drive.
Luckily, we successfully completed the Big Five challenge in our first safari and totally enjoyed the game drive with reliable Laxatrails. It is an absolutely unforgettable and precious experience in my whole life. Highly recommend!

Excellent trip - perfect guide
From being picked up in Nairobi our guide Ben provided us with a brilliant experience. He was knowledgeable of all the animals on the safari, he could answer our questions but was not intrusive. He was friendly and good company too. We saw all of the animals we hoped to see, the hotels were nice especially the first two and the travelling was as painless as possible. I would definitely recommend!
