Felt like coming home, walking and talking with a dear friend. Thuba was a phenomenal host and tour.

If you are looking for a life changing experience this is it. Our tour was worth so much more than we could measure numerically. If there is a way to measure the satisfaction of one's soul after the Victoria Falls tour you would find us extremely satisfied and would happily do it every other weekend if we could. Thuba, you are a wonderful soul, stay blessed

A Fabulous Adventure
5/5

We did the 15 day tour from Harare to Maun. All three are all in our late sixties and my wife uses a wheelchair. We had the time of our lives. We were pleased we did the Zimbabwe section of the trip. It was our favourite country with the happy smiling people.

This is a fabulous and varied adventure. Simon and attend looked after us so well and made sure everything was good for us. Simons help with the wheelchair was brilliant particularly around the falls.

All of our accommodation was top rate, sometimes luxurious, sometimes truly amazing and the food always good. There were so many highlights it's hard to mention anything in particular.

All of the activities were well organised and we saw so many animals it was unbelievable. The pace of the trip is quite busy involving early starts to make the best safari viewing, so if you are getting on a bit like us, you can always plan an extra rest day somewhere. We did make a couple of changes to the trip in advance. Thanks to the very helpful people in the office for organising this.

Our transport was very comfortable and Simon stayed with us for the whole trip, always listening and willing to help.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Cuckoo Safaris. Great trip, friendly people and superb value for money.

Reliable, entertaining, and organized
5/5

This experience was very interesting and fun, I mean, seeing Victoria falls so close and from both countries. It was amazing, a dream come true! The whole trip, exploring nature, walking so close to the falls, and the adventure of seeing both sides of Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe and Zambia was fantastic. Our guides were Mike from the Zambian side and Thuba from the Zimbabwean side. Both Mike and Thuba were so kind, organized , knowledgeable, and fun. Thuba and Mike made sure we enjoyed our tour and were safe. They also guided and helped us through the border process, which was a little bit cumbersome, but we made it quite quick with their help. We had such an unforgettable and cool time during this tour.

Well-coordinated. Friendly. Professional. Flexible.
5/5

Coordination with Shelton was always clear and sorted the evening before the next day’s events. Most safari events were in very small groups, which made interaction with the guides easier. I thought the value for money was very good—it saved me from trying to coordinate several different safaris and accommodation by myself. We experienced very good reliability! The driver was almost always at the departure point before we were The tours were mostly magical. The Zambezi River sunset cruise offered a split screen of the storied river and its wildlife side-by-side with 21st century tourism. The staff onboard were delightful and serenaded us with a lovely Shona song at the end of the cruise.

We had such a great driver on both full days taking us to the Botswana border and back and then the next day to Hwange National Park and back in very ugly driving conditions. Our thanks to him for accommodating us on a long day.
The land portion and the water portion of the Chobe National Park were great. Even if the weather limited some sightings, we saw three of the big five that day, and it was pretty magical to reflect on where we were along the Zambezi River As we waited for others to join the safari at the Botswana border, the tour guide improvised and took us to see the impressive bridge over the river where Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet.

The next day we visited Hwange National Park and had a wonderful time in the company of our guide, Spencer (Spenc). We saw so many iconic animals and had a great morning tea break and picnic lunch out in the park. There were just two of us on the tour with an entertaining guide who took us to interesting parts of the park that receive fewer visitors. This day safari was the highlight of our tour package.

Our guided tour of Victoria Falls on our last day in Zimbabwe was fun! Our guide steered us clear of the hordes of tourists and allowed us to enjoy many of the vistas on our own. Thuba was entertaining and energetic and we enjoyed his company. He was also flexible and we extended the walking tour to include a stroll across the Victoria Falls Bridge. The driver who drove us to the airport was delightful and pointed out several things of interest along the way.

My friends and i found her pleasant. Really cheerful person.

Amazing holiday with Cuckoo safari.
5/5

We booked the 5 day quadruple package. Wonderful holiday with knowledgeable Thuba as our guide in Zimbabwe and attend to our needs and requests. Itinerary was according to booking. Almost every leg of the itinerary was filled with excitement and surprise. starting from the airport. 2nd day game drive with Nixon was excellent, and the bush dinner was a great experience. 3rd day morning river cruise in a boat on Chobe river with July as our guide was amazing. We seen hippo, croc, big herd of elephants and the beautiful scenery, Thanks to July experience navigation on the river. We are all thrilled. Very important, bring child birth cert if traveling with them. Custom Legal requirements to prevent child trafficking in Africa. Overall a very enjoyable and satisfied holiday with family.
