Zambezi services Top Notch
5/5

Zambezi set up a trip for gorilla trekking in Uganda and relaxing in Zanzibar. The trip was designed by Zambezi's professionals who have actually traveled to these places. The itinerary was excellent. All services were provided as developed and all providers were professional and knowledgeable. Zambezi itself communicated regularly and was responsive in answering questions. The trip surpassed our expectations.

Great safari organized in Zimbabwe!
5/5

Me and my wife wanted to spend our holidays somewhere in the wild and try to see cheetahs for the first time. We have seen Big5 in the past but no luck with cheetahs. This is why we wanted to be in a park where we have good chances of spotting them. Diana from Zambezi Safari & Travel was very helpful in taking the decision to have a safari in Hwange NP. We split our stay between Nehimba and Bomani Lodges. Nehimba is the best place to see elephants from 2-3 m distance while Bomani is located in a more open space with higher chances of spotting wildlife. We missed a big chance to spot a cheetah at Nehimba even if we saw the tracks but we were lucky at Bomani where we saw 4 cheetahs in one day. Diana also took care of our request to see wild dogs so she informed Nehimba Lodge to have a stop at Painted Dog Conservation Center before boarding The Elephant Express from Dete station. The Elephant Express is another unique experience that you should try if you are in Hwange which is one of the most peaceful parks with few tourists comparable with Kruger, Serengeti or Masai Mara. We had a wonderful safari and we would like to thank all the team and especially Diana for making our dream come true. They also have organized our stay at Vic Falls and Zanzibar beach holiday and we highly recommend them.

Beyond expectations
5/5

Our bush camp (Deteema) was spectacular! Staff, camp, game drives...impeccable.
Aside from most activity pick ups running on “African time” all were amazing! At any time during our trip planning we had questions all were attended to promptly

Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Liz worked with me to select the perfect trip and activities for my husband and I. I can only describe Zambezi Safari and Travel Victoria Office staff (Liz, Chris and Jane) as professional, courteous, prompt and patient. We truly enjoyed working with them. Our trip to Zambabwe, Botswana and South Africa was perfect!

Gorillas, Chimps hanging out feet away, lions eating a wildebeest. Who could has for anything more?
5/5

They created a website just for our trip that showed pictures of the lodges and gave lots of information on our activities at each place. They arranged for us to get all our necessary permits, our air travel between Entebbe and an airport near Biwindi, and then later Entebbe and the northern Serengeti and then back to Kilimanjaro. They worked closely with Wild Frontiers that ran the lodges we stayed in, and provided a terrific guide in Uganda who drove us all around Uganda and made sure we were on treks to see gorillas and chimps that we could manage. My travelling companion and I are both 74 years old, and she has COPD, and could only handle a short climb to the gorillas and a slow walk to the chimps, and our overall guide arranged all that. The different safaris, to see gorillas, chimps in Queen Elizabeth Park and in Kigale forest, and then to see the wildebeeste crossing, and all the Serengeti animals were beyond expectations. It was a great trip.

Excellent organizer with a sincere care for the guests.
5/5

Chris Worden at the Victoria Falls office did a great plan for our trip. He managed to tick all the boxes on our extensive wish list. The hotel in Vic Falls and the two lodges he chose for us were very different but all very nice.
At Sheerwater Explorer's Village, he chose a nice bungalow. The hotel is newly built and fresh, located within Vic Falls, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and Victoria Falls NP.
Zambesi Sands in Zambesi NP offered a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful scenery, luxurious glamping, excellent food, river tours and knowledgeable guidance during game drives. Among other things we got to see a magnificent herd with buffalo, elephants, lions, bushbuck and lots of bird life.
Deteema Springs in Hwange NP offered a completely different type of landscape that was also magical. Here, too, good company and good food were offered. Although completely different, this camp was also very well organized and the luxurious feeling remained. Game drives were long in the exciting landscape and we saw a lot of animals - kudus, impalas, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, hippos and crocodiles to name a few.
I am particularly impressed with how Chris made sure we received information that the airline canceled our flight home. When the internet was mostly missing or weak he still made sure that messages came through to us via radio allowing us to solve the transport.
