Booking our 10-day Kenya and Tanzania cross-border safari with Passionate Guides was the best decision we ever made! From initial planning to final drop-off, their communication and reliability were unmatched—owner Beatus personally put our pre-trip anxieties to rest with expert guidance.
The service and value throughout the journey were phenomenal. The border transition was handled seamlessly by both crews, and the Tanzanian leg was extraordinary, featuring attentive drivers, expert guides, and sit-down table lunches in the wild. While the Kenya portion could use a bit of refinement in vehicle comfort and roadside dining to match the outstanding standards set in Tanzania, the overall experience was phenomenal. Even when minor vehicle issues arose on rough terrain, the crew fixed everything instantly.
Having Beatus step in as our guide toward the end was an incredible bonus. He shared his inspirational vision for Passionate and even invited us to visit his family home on the way to the airport—a heartwarming, personal touch money can't buy. From witnessing the Great Migration river crossing to spotting the Big 5 and exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, Passionate delivers a top-tier, highly trustworthy, and unforgettable safari experience!

Safari Trip of a Lifetime!
We booked an 11 night safari tour through Passionate Guides Tanzania. We booked almost a year in advance and had constant contact with Catherine, from their office, right until our safari began. Our questions, which were many at times, were always answered promptly and accurately. The owner of the company met with us the night before we were picked up and provided great information regarding what to expect. We had three different drivers because we started in Kenya, went into Tanzania and then back into Kenya. Each driver was different but each had tremendous strengths and each one wanted to make our game drives the most memorable that they could be. Their experience allowed them to go to the perfect place, every time, to get the best views and photographs of animals while not being disruptive to them. The drivers were professional, courteous and full of information. We loved them all but especially loved Wiston, whom we are still in touch with. He became part of our family during our time together. The cost of the safari was well worth our experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was less expensive that I would have thought for everything that we got-private drivers/tour guides for the entire time, lodging, meals, bottled water and beginning and end transportation to/from Nairobi. I highly recommend Passionate Guides Tanzania and would not book with anyone else!
