Dennis & Paul were the best drivers in our Kenya Safari!
Dennis toured Masai Mara with us and he is a Masai, very knowledgeable about Masai Mara, the animals, and Masai culture!
Paul toured Amboseli National Park when we returned from Tanzania, he is also very knowledgeable about the safari, polite and on-time!

The most amazing safari of my life
From the moment we arrived in Kenya, Ways of Africa impressed us with their attention to detail and seamless coordination. Every aspect of our 8-day safari felt effortless — clearly the result of careful planning and genuine passion for what they do.Our guide, Paul, was phenomenal. His knowledge of wildlife and the region made every sighting fascinating, and his patience ensured we never felt rushed. He seemed to have an intuitive sense of what we wanted to see and always managed to get us into the perfect position for that unforgettable photo.Janet and Paul were not just our hosts — they treated us like old friends. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made the journey all the more memorable. They constantly went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt completely at home, no matter where we were. The camps and lodges we stayed in were world-class, each with its own charm — breathtaking views, excellent food, and outstanding staff. It was obvious that Ways of Africa had personally selected each one to create an ideal balance of comfort and adventure. After this experience, I can confidently say that Ways of Africa deliver something truly special — a safari that feels personal, smooth, and full of heart. I’d return with them in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone seeking more than just a typical safari — this was an experience that will stay with us forever.

A Trip of a Lifetime with Ways of Africa!
From start to finish, our safari experience with Ways of Africa was absolutely unforgettable. Paul and Janet, the kind, humble, and incredibly hardworking founders, went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our trip was perfect. They took the time to understand our preferences and designed an itinerary that felt truly personal — from the lodge selection to daily activities.
Before we even set off, they personally came to meet us in Nairobi, such a thoughtful and genuine gesture that set the tone for the rest of the trip. It was wonderful to meet them in person, hear about their entrepreneurial journey, and feel their passion for creating authentic experiences. They even helped arrange a hot air balloon ride for us something we’ll never forget!
Once on safari, our guide Paul (a different Paul!) was nothing short of exceptional. Always punctual, calm, and deeply knowledgeable, he made every game drive both exciting and educational. His understanding of the terrain and wildlife meant we saw some extraordinary sights, from lions mating and cheetahs hunting (albeit unsuccessfully :) ) to a leopard lounging in a tree with its prey carefully stored for later. There were zebras as far as the eye could see, elephants having playful dramas, and countless magical moments that felt straight out of a nature documentary.
What we appreciated most was how flexible and attentive Paul was whether we wanted to stop for a quick coffee, browse local curios, or spend a bit longer at a sighting or the Lodge, he made it all feel effortless. Every day brought something new and unforgettable, and we always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
We came away not just with incredible memories, but with deep gratitude for the people behind this experience. Thank you, Paul, Janet, Paul and the entire Ways of Africa team, for crafting a truly once-in-a-lifetime safari.
Highly, highly recommend to anyone dreaming of a Kenyan adventure — you will be in the best hands!

Seamless, friendly and accommodating
We had an unforgettable experience with Ways of Africa on our 8-day safari. From start to finish, the trip was seamless, thoughtfully planned, and executed with care.
Paul and Janet were incredibly warm and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure every detail of our journey was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout.
Every lodge and camp we stayed at was exceptional — with stunning locations, top-notch service, and delicious food. It was clear that Ways of Africa had handpicked each place with care.
Our guide, Paul, was truly outstanding. Friendly, patient, and deeply knowledgeable, he made sure we saw everything we had hoped for — and more. He tailored the experience to our pace and interests, always ready to adjust the day’s plans to suit our needs. His insights into the wildlife, ecosystems, and local culture enriched every game drive and made the experience all the more meaningful.
I can’t recommend Ways of Africa highly enough and would love to do another safari with them in the future. If you're looking for a personalized, professional, and memorable safari, this is the team to go with.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
We have just returned from our incredible Kenyan safari, and we are still struggling to find the words to fully capture the magic of this journey. A huge part of this amazing experience is thanks to the exceptional service provided by Ways.
From start to finish, the trip was meticulously organized. All the lodges and camps we had booked were expecting us, and check-in was always seamless. This allowed us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the experience without a single worry about logistics.
However, the true star of our safari was our guide, Said. His expertise was nothing short of phenomenal. With his eagle eyes and profound knowledge of the bush, he consistently spotted wildlife that was completely invisible to us at first glance. He could decipher the slightest movement in the grass or a distant shape under a tree, transforming what seemed like an empty landscape into a stage for incredible animal encounters.
Thanks to his incredible tracking skills and dedication, we were thrilled to have encountered four of the Big Five! We witnessed a majestic lion pride lounging in the sun, a graceful leopard draped over a tree branch, herds of formidable Cape buffalo, and several magnificent elephants. While we knew seeing a rhino was unlikely as we didn't visit Nakuru, achieving the "Big Four" felt like a monumental success and exceeded our wildest expectations. Said didn't just find the animals; he shared fascinating insights about their behavior, making each sighting a unique learning experience.
We are immensely grateful to the entire team at Ways for crafting such a perfect adventure. We will cherish these memories for a lifetime and would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone seeking an authentic and well-executed safari.

An unforgettable trip!Amazing !
This was our first trip to Africa and undoubtedly the most unforgettable journey. The travel agency provided excellent itinerary planning, hotel accommodations, and tour guide services. Due to our early flight, they made flexible adjustments to our schedule in real-time. We witnessed all the wildlife and hunting scenes, and learned a great deal about animals and African culture. The people here are incredibly kind and genuine. Once again, we'd like to thank our guide , Amir !

Great service and communication, Amir tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable
We were let down at the last minute by Kenmara safari tours (don’t ever use them) and Paul at ways of Africa saved the day putting together a 4 day safari in just a day. His communication was great and the safari guide Amir was brilliant. He knew everything there was to know about animals, the Masai Mara etc etc and we managed to see everything we wanted to. We even managed to get through a couple of road blocks in the end!!
100% recommend this firm and Amir as the guide

Outstanding
From the very beginning, our experience with Ways of Africa exceeded every expectation. The evening before our safari, Paul – the owner – personally came to our hotel to brief us on the adventure ahead. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth instantly put us at ease. He patiently answered all of our questions and even surprised us with thoughtful gift bags full of useful safari items (I won’t spoil the surprise, but it was such a lovely touch!).
We chose the Lake Nakuru (1 night) & Masai Mara (2 nights) package, Monday–Thursday, and from the moment we were picked up at 7:30 a.m., we knew we were in the very best hands. Paul, (a different Paul) who was our guide, impressed us right away with his deep knowledge, not just about wildlife and nature, but also about the history, culture, and landmarks along our route. His passion and storytelling made the journey itself feel like part of the adventure.
For anyone wondering, especially the ladies—rest stops along the way were frequent, safe, and clean, so the long drives were very comfortable.
Our first destination was Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, Lake Nakuru. On the way, we were lucky enough to spot several animal species, which only heightened our excitement for the afternoon game drive. The lodge itself was wonderful: beautiful views, a delicious buffet restaurant, and cozy rooms prepared with mosquito nets and even hot water bottles tucked into the bed at night—such a thoughtful detail!
That afternoon’s game drive set the tone for the days to come. In just a few hours we saw buffalo, baboons, colobus monkeys, giraffes, warthogs, pelicans, flamingos, vervet monkeys, impalas, zebras, lions, hyenas, rhinos, hippos, and countless stunning birds. It was absolutely magical.
The following morning, we set out for the Masai Mara and checked into our next camp, Amani Mara. Words hardly do it justice—the views were surreal. Imagine enjoying breakfast while watching hippos sunbathe, monkeys leap through trees, and giraffes wander across the horizon. The staff at Amani were exceptional: attentive, kind, and full of knowledge. On our final night, they treated us to a bush dinner under the stars—an unforgettable four-course feast prepared by a world-class chef. Every meal we had there was simply outstanding.
And then came the highlight of our trip: exploring the Masai Mara. In just 1.5 days, thanks to Paul’s incredible guiding, we witnessed a breathtaking array of wildlife: elephants, a leopard in broad daylight (a rare sight!), a cheetah hunting and feasting on its prey, giraffes, hippos, jackals, wildebeest, ostriches, vultures, lion cubs, and two enormous male lions so close we could almost touch them. Seeing all of this in such a short time felt like a dream—it’s not something you can ever guarantee, but traveling with an expert guide like Paul certainly gave us the best possible chance.
What made the experience even more special was how much we learned along the way. Paul’s knowledge of every animal, bird, and landscape seemed endless, and he was always eager to share insights and answer our many questions. His passion for what he does shines through, and it truly elevated the entire safari.
We came away from this trip feeling deeply grateful—not just for the incredible wildlife encounters, but for the care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism that Ways of Africa put into every detail. If you are considering a safari in Kenya or Tanzania, I can wholeheartedly say: look no further. With Paul and his team, you are not just booking a safari, you are embarking on an unforgettable journey crafted with heart and expertise.
Thank you again!
