A phantastic experience with a unique guide
5/5

For the background: Our trip with Lucas was a '21 Nights Tailor Made Trip', just for the two of us, leading us to Ntwetwe Pan, Nxai Pan, Tsodilo, Moremi, Kwai, Savuti, and Chobe River front starting in Maun and ending in Kasane.

Once we finished our joint planning, Lucas wrote in an email 'this journey will change your life' - and it did! Lucas guided us as guests into the realm of the wild animals of Botswana so that we felt close and welcome. With his extensive experience and profound knowledge of the entire fauna and flora he both taught and entertained us, but most memorable of all, he led us to many overwhelming encounters with fascinating animals both big and small, including all the iconic safari mammals, but also rare species like wild dogs, many birds, and more. These encounters felt new, surprising, and somehow even more exciting every day.

Our game drives usually started from and ended at our tent camps, where Lucas and his team, Mosa (the chef), Monametsi and Gisto, pampered us in every conceivable way and in a warm-hearted, almost family-like atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks, perfect camping facilities for the bush, very professional organization, and not to forget the smiles and laughter complemented our phantastic game drive experiences.

Passionate about the wildlife and providing an excellent customer focused service.
5/5

From the planning stage to our final farewell, Lucas at Wild For Game Safaris, provided an excellent, responsive and personalised service. He read our needs perfectly. We booked a 12 night/13 day luxury camping safari, covering Moremi, Kwai, Savuti and Chobe River Front. The focus was on birding, but we saw loads of other wildlife. Lucas is a very knowledgeable guide, and was able to show us lions on six separate days, including a suckling cub, a leopard, cheetahs, hyenas, crocodiles and a hunting pack of wild dogs. This was on top of other game. We saw 218 birds, the highlights included a Martial Eagle, Verreaux's Eagle-Owl, Broad-billed Sandpiper, and Southern Carmine Bee-eaters hawking in front of the truck as it drove through grasslands soon after we had spotted a Rosy-throated Longclaw.
The camping was very comfortable and safe. The ground crew of Mosa the brilliant chef, Bontsi the camp assistant and Madu the waiter, were hard working, polite and very friendly. Their efforts made for a fantastic experience.
The trip exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Wild For Game Safaris to anybody who wants to experience the joys of Botswana up close and personal.

Our safari in one word: stunning! --- Notre safari en un mot : époustouflant !

Our safari with Lucas and his team at Wild for Game was exceptional in every way.
My daughters and I were able to experience our dream safari in the heart of Botswana in absolutely fantastic conditions.
In two weeks, we visited the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) and the eastern Okavango Delta (Moremi and Khwai Reserves).
All this with a team that was constantly attentive to our needs, always caring, and impeccably professional. The conditions of our stay, with several campsites, all located in extraordinary settings, were worthy of a 5-star campsite.
The quality and variety of the meals were simply breathtaking: excellent, always fresh, and generous.
Thanks to Lucas for his ability to take us to the right place at the right time during our daily excursions, he allowed us to observe more than fifty different animal species, including the unmissable lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, hippos, baboons, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo, as well as numerous birds, including eagles and owls, but also reptiles, amphibians, numerous antelopes, hyenas, jackals, and more.
Not to mention the incredible experience of the last evening, with the frantic chase of a group of wild dogs, followed by a fierce and merciless fight between the hyenas and the wild dogs over a poor impala, the wild dogs' prey. The two hyenas, determined not to abandon it, then fought over it. All this in a Dantesque atmosphere at the end of the day, with a magnificent landscape as a backdrop.
All of wild Africa on a platter, just like that, right in front of us, authentic and exceptional!
Thank you so much for these two magical weeks that will remain etched in our memories forever.
My daughters and I can only warmly recommend Wild for Game if you're looking for an adventure with a capital A in Botswana, a pristine country with incredible natural resources, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes!
One word to sum up our stay: stunning!
