An Unforgettable 10-Day Journey Through Ethiopia
My 10-day journey through Ethiopia was truly one of the most incredible travel experiences I’ve ever had. Visiting Addis Ababa, Lalibela, and the Omo Valley gave me the perfect opportunity to discover Ethiopia’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and extraordinary cultural diversity.
From the moment I arrived in Addis Ababa, everything was seamlessly organized. A special thank you to Ashu, the manager, whose professionalism, excellent planning, and constant support ensured that every part of the trip went smoothly. His attention to detail and genuine care made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Lalibela was simply magical. The ancient rock-hewn churches are beyond words, and learning about their history and spiritual significance made the visit even more meaningful. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Deacon, our guide in Lalibela. His deep knowledge, passion, and heartfelt explanations brought the history and faith of this sacred place to life. It was an experience I will never forget.
The Omo Valley was the highlight of my journey. Meeting the indigenous communities and learning about their unique traditions was an unforgettable cultural experience. A huge thank you to Resh, my Omo Valley guide, whose expertise, kindness, and respect for the local communities made every visit authentic and enriching. His guidance allowed us to connect with the people and their traditions in a meaningful and respectful way.
Throughout the journey, I was constantly impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the Ethiopian people. Every destination offered something unique, from vibrant city life and fascinating history to spectacular scenery and unforgettable cultural encounters.

Excellent trip
My mother and I did did an amazing 17 day overland & flight tour of northern Ethiopia. We visited such places as Simien Mountains National park, the Tigray Region, the Danakil Depression, Lalibella and others. Our guide, Ashu , was excellent and Fantastic . He was knowledge, accommodating and well connected. He also brought a great energy to our travels that only as only an authentic Ethiopian person could. We had multiple drivers they were excellent too. They were funny, and we had no major issues while driving over a sizeable portion of the country.
We chose to make our trip mostly by road but Ashu slightly changed our itinerary based on a safety concern and I really appreciate for that Ashu, such a humbled abd unique personality , Ashu is Top and Top very helpful man and if you can do this I would very much recommend it. Although it might be more expensive then flying to from place to place (honestly Im not sure if it would be, but internal Ethiopia flights are usually very cheap -per a flight it’s about 120-180 USD per a flight ), you get to see more of the country and places that tourists really don’t get to much.
Ethiopia itself is like no where else Ive ever been to. Physically very beautiful and with a very diverse people and extremely rich history. Its not always the most relaxing country to travel in. You wont be sitting pool side very much, but you will get to be immersed in some really authentic experiences and truly see a radically different world. You’ll get the sense that you are in a world class travel destination before 95% of the other tourists have arrived.
Ashu is such an authentic person, a leader with passion and full of positive energy all the time , personally can’t do it but Ashu does .

We booked a tour of Ethiopia with Enat Tours and were warmly welcomed at the airport after an overnight flight by their representatives. This set the tone for the next ten days, during which our group (six from the UK and four from the US) was expertly guided by Ashu from Enat Tours.
Our journey through Ethiopia’s vast and lush landscapes included travel by both road and internal flights, all seamlessly arranged by Enat Tours. We explored the breathtaking rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the historic castle at Gondar, enjoyed a boat cruise on Lake Tana, and immersed ourselves in the vibrant tribal areas and markets in the south of the country.

A tour company that treats you like family!
Ethiopia was the last part of our honeymoon trip in Africa. And I'm so happy we got our tour organised by Ashu and Enat Tours!
He planned a great trip, so in just 6 days, we were able to visit the Danakil Depression, Lalibela valley, and even a city tour of Addis Ababa.
And from the moment Pogba welcomed us at the airport, we knew everything would be ok.
Our tour price was more than reasonable, and Ashu made on-the-spot changes as we requested. He's so understanding and
kept checking in with us daily to see if there were any problems or anything we needed.
Ashu, together with Pogba, really took care of us as if we were family. Thanks to them, we had such a memorable experience in Ethiopia that we will keep in our hearts forever.

Excellent Tour Company
I recently completed a 7-day tour covering Addis Ababa, Lalibela, and the Danakil Depression, and I had an amazing experience with Enat Tours.
From the beginning, the communication and organization were excellent. The team handled airport pickups, domestic flights, accommodations, and transfers smoothly, which made the trip stress-free.
Our guides were knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. In Lalibela, they explained the history and spiritual importance of the rock-hewn churches in a way that made the experience unforgettable. The cultural experiences, local food, and coffee ceremonies were also highlights of the trip.
The Danakil Depression expedition was the most adventurous part of the journey. Despite the extreme conditions and long drives, everything was well organized and safe. Visiting Dallol, the salt flats, and Erta Ale volcano felt like being on another planet. The local crew and drivers worked incredibly hard to make the experience comfortable and memorable.

Would give more stars if I could
I went with a group of 10 and had a great time on this trip to the Danakil depression! Even though it involves a lot of travel time, the destinations are totally worth the visit and the trip is perfectly organized. The staff had a great energy and we made some experiences you don’t get elsewhere - Erta Ale and Dallol are unique places. Thank you all!

Fantastic 5-day tour
We organized a 5 days Danakil and Tigray+Addis city tour with Ashu. He is really quick in response and very organized.
We had a great time in Addis with Asfaw who is very knowledgeable and the tour covered all the high-lights of Addis Ababa.
Aman the guide in Danakil looked after us very well. Both of them talked very highly of Ashu and that assured us that people are happy to work with the company. We ended our tour in Axum, where we had an excellent guide (sorry we forgot his name...) he covered all the highlights and some extra places of interest too that were definitely a bonus. The tour and especially the guides exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend Ashu and his team to our friends back home. Thank you very much for the great memory!
