Best holiday ever!
5/5

We used African Safaris to arrange our trip to Kenya. They were fantastic. We were particularly interested in seeing the Wildebeest crossing, but had never been to Africa before so didn't know what to expect. What a thing of joy our trip was. We saw the crossing, the big 5 (leopard several times), had fabulous accommodation/food and a brilliant driver (thanks Joshua). We went to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and (of course) the Masai Mara. Every day was filled with beauty and wonder. I'd never considered a safari before and it exceeded all expectations. Every time I see a wildlife program on t.v. I'm transported back to our holiday. And even now (several years and many other trips later) I can still say that the safari in Kenya was one of the best trips of my life. If you've never been, make sure you do. You won't regret it.

Simply the best!
5/5

We are still talking about this amazing safari to everyone and anyone who is interested. I must say we have travelled extensively and we always said Alaska was the best trip of our lives, but Botswana out did it. Once again it was brilliant and thank you for all you did for us.

We had a fantastic time!
5/5

We loved all the camps and the game drives and saw so many great things. Each area was slightly different which kept it interesting. We saw all the big 5, the ugly 5, most of the small 5 and a few other groups of 5 that we made up ourselves. We loved the private bush dinner for our anniversary and the cake for Brendan’s birthday. I think he was very surprised and touched. We did our hot air balloon ride which was magical (although I forgot to mention I am afraid of heights!).

Our only disappointment was not for us, but for the camp operators and staff, because even though it was low season there was practically no one at the camps! We were the only guests and at a couple of the camps due to the freak-out over the Ebola crisis. So sad that people are misinformed as you are probably aware. I am now telling everyone that they shouldn’t be scared and they should go. So all in all it was great and I still have post-holiday blues. I am now thinking maybe we will go to Tanzania next time and make sure we see the migration so I will let you know!

Thanks for all your help and organising, it was superb and I will definitely seek your advice for future trips.

The tour operators were excellent in everything they did for us. A very professional organisation.
5/5

Our safari trip to Tanzania and beach holiday in Zanzibar was booked in 2019 and was delayed due to covid. African Safaris kept in touch with us all the way through the covid outbreak and kept giving us the option to delay our trip. Eventually, we set a date for our trip of a life time, September 2022, together with our daughter and her boyfriend for the safari in Tanzania. The price remained the same as we booked it in 2019. It was totally worth waiting for. Our guide for the week was Freddie from Tour Compass who was excellent, his English was brilliant and he made our whole trip enjoyable and could not do enough for us. The amount of driving he had to do each day we were amazed how he kept awake and was so enthusiastic and energetic teaching us all the time about Tanzania the animals and the way of life. Listening to him talking to his best friend, also from Tour Compass - Danny who was also doing the same tour as us made it wonderful. We have never laughed as much as we did on this holiday. The food was excellent at all the accommodation we stopped at and our lunches which Freddie arranged and had with us was brilliant, so we could sit on top of the Ngorongoro crater and the lake in the Serengeti. From us all thank you to the whole team.

If going to Tanzania I would recommend taking some cash with you because our first hotel we stopped in the card machine had broken, so we were unable to pay by card for our drinks and for tipping we used US dollars which was fine.

After departing from Tanzania and leaving our daughter and boyfriend to fly back home we carried on to Zanzibar to our hotel Ocean Paradise. The hotel lived up to its name Paradise. The staff could not do enough for you and the hotel and food was excellent. The rooms were enormous and the afternoon tea on the beach which was free was an extra delight.

African Safaris - Make holiday dreams come true
5/5

This is our second holiday arranged by Claire at African Safaris . The first in 2016 to Botswana Zimbabwe and Rwanda and this one to Namibia.
Claire and Tracy have been visiting Africa for many years and the hands on knowledge gained during this time, the contacts and friends they has made are a perfect formula to be able to provide the very best holidays .
Our trips were private tours and Claire was easy to chat to, discussing our requests , expectations and needs. She then put together an tour which together we tweeked to fulfil our dream holiday .

Throughout the process communication was brilliant , information provided and we felt confident when we left to go on our holiday every t was crossed and every i dotted and it was. Both holidays went like clockwork.

The holiday was everything we hoped for and much much more. Everyday an adventure wether it was he scenery , the local culture , stunning landscapes or of course close encounters with wonderful wild life. The local guides are knowledgeable and speak understandable good English.

We have he African bug now and when our next adventure needs to be sorted we will definitely be using the services of African Safaris . Thank you for making our holiday dreams come true.

A Safari to remember
5/5

The Safari progressed as organised with out a hitch. Botswana to Zimbabwe the guides and their staff deserved a big thank you they were excellent. With their knowledge and skill we saw all the big five, and were able to get some amazing photos. The hot shower, drinks and first class meals completed each successful day. Well done Claire and Tracy
