Unforgettable Tanzania Tour in August 2025
Our trip through Tanzania was simply fantastic! We received a warm welcome and excellent service right from the start at Kilimanjaro Airport. Our adventure began in Arusha with exciting excursions into the surrounding area, before continuing to Tarangire National Park, through the Serengeti, and on to Lake Manyara. Mkomazi National Park was another highlight.
A huge thank you goes to Daniel, our driver and guide. He accompanied us the entire time and was friendly, reliable, and incredibly patient. Thanks to his knowledge and dedication, we were able to experience Tanzania's impressive wildlife up close, including the River Crossing! His warm personality made the trip even more personal and unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organized as well: The accommodations were superbly chosen, the food was delicious, fresh, and often sustainably prepared – the lovingly prepared lunches along the way were a real treat and regularly drew admiring glances at the picnic areas. William Laizer planned and organized this trip for us. We stayed in regular contact by phone and were also able to meet him in Arusha and the Serengeti, which was always wonderful. All in all, it was a thoroughly successful and superbly organized trip.
A huge thank you to Pumba Reisen for the fantastic organization – and of course to Daniel, who introduced us to Tanzania in such a wonderful way. Perhaps we'll manage to travel to Tanzania again sometime – there's still so much to discover there. Conclusion: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Perfect service, fantastic experiences, unforgettable impressions!

Mount Kilimanjaro – an unforgettable adventure thanks to Pumba Reisen!
Our trip to Tanzania, or more precisely, all the planning in
the run-up to our Kilimanjaro climb, couldn't have been better or
easier. We were traveling with a small group of five friends, and Willi put together a personalized,
tailor-made itinerary for us. He catered to our every need – from finding a date (and rescheduling
on our part), to transportation to and from Kilimanjaro Airport, to a beautiful hotel in Arusha, to a
joint wellness day at the hot springs in Moshi, which rounded off our unforgettable trip.
However, the focus was
understandably on the seven days on the mountain, which exceeded our expectations. The “Lemosho Route” was varied and ideal for our fitness level. The camps are all in fantastic locations and some offer views of the summit or imposing rock faces such as the “Barancowall,” but also a magnificent panorama at night of the lights of the city of Moshi. The
entire 26-member crew around our guides Willi, Emanuel, and Irene, as well as the man for all occasions, “Amani,” the porters, cooks, and security guards did a perfect job. Thanks to their tireless efforts and inspiring motivation during the summit attempt, we all finally
reached Uhuru Peak on February 1.
A dream came true.
We want to book a safari trip soon and can't wait for it.

Our first safari, an unforgettable experience!
We had a great time organizing the tour with Careen from Pumba Reisen. She was responsive to all our emails and tried her best to accommodate our requests. The reservation process was very smooth. Daniel was our guide for the tour. A knowledgeable, resourceful guide, keen on showing us the best aspects of the different parks. He stayed in constant communication with other guides in the park to make sure he knew where the animals were being spotted and made sure to take us there. Our tour included seeing a pride of 25 lions up close, a family of cheetahs playing, several herds of elephants, the elusive leopard, jackals, hippos, and 30 other unique animals.
Apart from the animals, Pumba Reisen arranged for wonderful accommodations in our 4-night stay in the parks. We had a wonderful night's rest in these places. Daniel also arranged fresh food (given our dietary restrictions) for lunch each day in the park, and we greatly appreciated that.
This was our first safari trip, and we will never forget it. Thank you, Pumba Reisen!
