A Trip to Remember- Excellent Value & Service
5/5

My husband and I took the 5 day/4 night Victoria Falls/Chobe National Park tour in May 2016. It was absolutely wonderful. Pamela at Africa Zim was great with answering our questions and even helping us make changes to our itinerary at the very last week before trip. Blessing, our tour guide, was fantastic. He was very dependable and likeable. He answered our many questions about Zimbabwe. On the way to Botswana, as there was little traffic, he would stop his van in the middle of the road so we could take photos of elephants, baboons, and warthogs crossing the road. On our last day, he even showed us a very special spot with a 360 degree of Victoria Falls City. Visiting the Falls in May was magnificent. The water volume was at its maximum. He met us at the airport and took us to our destinations in a very timely fashion. The Boma Dinner and Show was outstanding. We had so much fun trying African food, drumming, and dancing. Botswana Safari Lodge was excellent. The accommodations and food were excellent. We also recommend taking the optional afternoon game drive. We were very lucky to see lions up close. There were plenty of other animals to see too, like elephants, impalas, giraffes, kudos, guinea fowls, baboons, hippos, mongoose, crocodiles, birds, and other animals.
Definitely, we got good value for our money!

Wonderful to Experience the Real Africa
5/5

How fortunate that I found Africa Zim Travel early this year when looking for a Botswana, Vic Falls Safari. We booked their budget safari, mostly camping and an excellent value. Not realizing how hot it would in Oct., we upgraded to an air conditioned lodge room a couple of times with no problem. The tour company is great, totally flexible as to start date and what you do along the way. We needed to accommodate several peoples' schedule for this trip and being able to choose our own start date was invaluable.

Service was excellent. Follow up and communications during planning was good.

My favorite site on the tour was Elephant Sands, an elephant oasis in the middle of a very dry area, hope the rains start soon!

The best part has been our wonderful tour guide, Blessing, giving us a chance to know a black African, learning about his life, family, his country of Zimbabwe plus many aspects of African culture. Almost all of our guides for game viewing have been local people, who bring their rich knowledge of the land and animals along with a great sense of humor. We visited a traditional village and have experienced some of the real Africa, not just another fancy resort.

Highly recommend Africa Zim Travel.

Everything worked like clockwork. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful.
5/5

I would have no hesitation in recommending Zim Travel. We were looked after very well and felt like we were with friends.
Apart from getting drenched at the Falls, which was our own fault for not taking advice, we enjoyed the trip and found Zim Travel very accommodating and lived up to expectations. Thanks again for making our holiday enjoyable.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to Maun, Botswana (8 days)
5/5

Blessing delivered a complete service from the booking process (including answering many of my questions and honoring many itinerary/date change requests in a prompt manner) to guiding us for the entire trip.
The trip included highlights such as a transfer from Across the border in Livingstone, entry to Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise, African dinner at The Boma, Chobe National Park including games drives & boat safari, and a wilderness camp in the Okavango Delta.
Accommodation and meals were of a high standard, and the transport, driven by Blessing, was very comfortable and safe.
We felt privileged to be able to spend time with Blessing. He made our experience the trip of a lifetime. We would highly recommend Blessing and Africa Zim Tours to anyone.

Fantastic time in Zimbabwe thanks to Africa Zim Travel & Tours!
5/5

From our arrival at the Vic Falls airport until taken back to the airport, we were taken care of very well by Africa Zim. Very hard to pick a favorite event, but we thoroughly enjoyed our sunset dinner cruise with just the four traveling in our group. Perfect evening. The safari tours were excellent as well. The Chobe National Park river safari was incredible. We saw so many animals and I came home with hundreds of pictures! The guides are very knowledgeable and informative to the group. Definitely recommend Africa Zim Travel & Tours to anyone.

The 8-day trip was relaxing, well-organized, and of great value
4/5

The communications in planning this trip were very good, the service was excellent, and the trip generally lived up to our expectations--even though when we booked it we did not exactly know what to expect. The first thing to understand is that this the 8-day safari is not a constant trip in the bush. Our director from Africa-Zim, Blessing, is wonderful--very organized and professional, as well as informative. Moreover, it was only our family on this tour--me, my husband, and our adult daughter, and we really appreciated the flexibility this trip offered. The first day we traveled from Livingstone to the Chobe Safari Hotel. The hotel was luxurious and the service was great, as was the boat tour on the Chobe river that we took the afternoon we arrived. The guide on the boat was superb in his ability to spot and talk about wildlife. The next day, we went to the Chobe game reserve, and once again, the sights were spectacular, and the expert guide made the 3-4 hour outing quite wonderful. The following day we drove about 7 hours to Maun and the Sedia Hotel. The hotel is not the best; the outing to the Okavanga Delta was very interesting, but we saw little wild life, in part because of the season. Nothing was scheduled for the next day in Maun, so my husband and I paid extra for a trip to the Moremi Game Reserve. It was a long drive, but once again, the guide was absolutely wonderful and it was well worth the added expense. The following day we spent in the Africa-Zim air-conditioned, comfortable van driving back to Victoria Falls. The Rainbow hotel was lovely, with a view of Victoria Falls and all the amenities one would want. We had a great time touring Victorian Falls the following day. Blessing then took us to the exquisite, historical Victoria Falls Hotel for a wonderful lunch, and then a celebratory dinner of authentic Africa cuisine at the Bhoma Hotel (with music, drums, singing, and dancing) our last night. It had been my husband's birthday the day before, and Blessing went out of his way to have the restaurant present him with a birthday cake. We had a wonderful trip. The only slight downside were the long drives between Chobe, the Okavanga Delta and back to Vic Falls, but the scenery was interesting, the air conditioned van very comfortable, and we really enjoyed talking to Blessing and learned a huge amount from our conversations with him. We had a wonderful trip for a very reasonable price and I strongly recommend Africa-Zim. Thank you so very much, Blessing.

Overall, great thank you for helping to plan and arrange for activities and accommodation in Vic Falls.
All the requests were addressed promptly during booking.
What was even better, that despite couple of last minute changes we got booked into everything we wanted to experience in Zimbabwe :)

Good experience
4/5

Blessing Mumbure, my contact for Africa Zim Travel is a very good guy. We agreed my itinerary by mail and I can say that everything was done in the right way. No problem for the accomodations, no problem for the transfer from/to the airport or to the several places visited (Hwange National Park, Chobe National Park...). He can suggest the best that North Zimbabwe can offer and he's always available for your needs.

Pamela is an amazing hard working organiser always contactable and Cosmas our guide and driver best
5/5

It is amazing to spend time at least 3 - 4 days in Victoria Falls . We enjoyed the bridge walk , high tea at elegant Victoria Falls Hotel , helicopter ride over the falls is sensational . Of course walk for 2 hours around the Falls is an amazing experience , do not forget your raincoat , we did not mind getting wet by the fresh sprinkles from the mighty falls . Lastly make sure have lunch at Lookout Cafe & Boma dinner . We were lucky to have Pamela from Zim Travels to arrange our itenary . And am glad she appointed Cosmas as our driver and guide who made sure everything went well . His knowledge is very good and he too managed to show us a tower of zirraffes and kudus on the way to Botswana .
We spent 3 days in Chobe again the itenary was amazing . We did 2 morning game drives , one afternoon game drive and one safari from Chobe River Cruise . All views at sunrise and sunset was spectacular . Furthermore to see all the animals and birds in nature was amazing . We were lucky to see so many animals and birds . The rangers were very professional all out to please.

In summary we had great experience with Pamela from Zim Travels and will consider her for our next adventure in Africa .
