Kenzania paradise
The GOOD
Price. It is less than half the price of any other massive tour of the major parks of both kenya and tanzania.
The drivers were superb on navigating and finding the right pic angles (I took 12500)
Food was great.
Accomodation was decent for the price
Weather was perfect
The NOT so good
We had 4 major mechanical breakdowns that with work and collaboration were fixed
I was forgotten at a café on a lunchstop, but again joined the group
I got travellers diarrehea which i fixed myself, so go prepared and dont skimp on mosquito spray and malaria prevention and yellow fever shot.
The massive distances on rough roads, the heat and the dust
No contact with the natives. Everything was in a tourist bubble.
In the end it was worth it because of the massive amount of wildlife for such a good price.

Very nicely organized trip to Maasai mara
Lucy at Alkebulan went out of her way to ensure that I had a good trip to visit Maasai Mara. shame this week gave me a range of choices for places to stay overnight., and I was quite happy with the lodge that we chose - the Masa Serena, which I highly recommend for its proximity to the park, good service, and beautiful rooms noted into the cliffs overlooking the park!
Lucy also made herself available to troubleshoot when small issues came up along the way, and recognizing that I was foreigner in East Africa, for the first time, she ensure that there were cars/drivers to pick me up and bring me to my hotel on all ends of my trip. She was also very helpful in identifying a few additional hotels during my stay and negotiating a good price at those hotels.
Overall, I had a very positive Alkebulan!

Excellent support and care throughout the trip, although the organization could have been better.
We had an overall good experience with Alkebulan Travel & Tours and enjoyed our trip to Tanzania. The organization and support we received, especially when we faced some health issues during the trip, were excellent. They were able to coordinate with the local operator and arrange medical assistance for us, including doctors who came to visit us when needed.
However, there were also some aspects that left us a little disappointed. Due to the changes that occurred during the trip, several activities and parts of the original itinerary were modified or reduced, and some of the lodges were changed along the way. While these changes were sometimes presented as upgrades, they did not always feel like an actual improvement compared with what had originally been planned.
We understand that some flexibility is necessary when traveling, especially when unexpected circumstances arise, but considering the price of the trip, we expected the original itinerary and accommodation arrangements to be followed more closely, or at least for changes to be communicated more clearly in advance.
Overall, it was still a beautiful and memorable experience, and we particularly appreciated the excellent assistance and availability when we needed it most. With a little more attention to organization, communication, and consistency with the agreed itinerary, the experience could have been even better.
A special mention goes to Omari, our guide from Serengeti Silence. He was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and always willing to help. He was supportive during our health issues, making sure we had the assistance we needed. His presence made a real difference to our experience.

We were very very poorly advised and regret using Alkebulan
The booking process felt very reassuring - the experience was precisely the opposite - and the follow up hasn’t been too good either.
We were told explicitly by the agent that a drive from Nairobi to Amboseli would be “three hours”.
It isn’t, it’s nearer five hours even on a clear traffic free run.
We felt deceived. Felt like a grab for the fare without consideration for our welfare.
We drove there and back in the day from Nairobi. To my eternal regret.
I’ve registered a complaint and the response is simply to say it’s traffic dependent - there was no traffic - it was 430am on a Sunday morning!
Moral of the story. Do your own research. Don’t assume the agent has any other aim aside from collecting their fee.

Excellent communication with personal attention to offer the best service
Did a one-day Nairobi National Park private safari in a Landcruiser jeep. Everything was great from the previous planning to the safari itself. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and was amazing at spotting the fauna in the National Park. He was patient and allowed time for pics and vids, while searching for the best possible locations. After the safari, the plan was to go to Sheldrick Wildlife and the Giraffe Center. It all went perfect, including a brief stop for good quality lunch and souvenir shopping. Totally recommended.

An unforgettable safari! Seeing the Big Five was an incredible experience, thanks to our knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond to find them. Excellent game drives, delicious filling meals, responsive hosts, punctual hotel pick-up and drop-off, plus the branded T-shirts made the trip truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
