A safari which did not meet my expectations
2/5

I had booked a 8 days tour. The whole travel was in an old minibus ,so not very comfortable.Day 5 was confirmed in the program with stay in Mara Sopa Lodge, but i was brought in AA Lodge (4stars) which is not even a 2 star place, but stay was in a cheap place: explication there had been a booking problem,day6 program would have been Mara Sopa again ,but i stayed in a cheap place again:Jambo Mara.So i had payed 2 nights for a 4 star place but got much less. The whole trip was overshadowed with the payment problem(i wrote you that already separately) ther were permanent calls :where is the money.
Seen in total the trip was more a deception then pleasure, and as i continued after this to south africa ,i just can say there its super, everything was at 100% like promised and it was just a difference like day & night

Masai Mara where fantastic. Hells gate and Lake Nakuro was not much to see.
2/5

We were lead to believe that we have bought a Safari for four people in our own car. Instead we were picking up and dropping off people all the time at Transfer Hotel. This lead to many hours of unnecessary transports on very bad roads.
The driver was good at finding game with the help of the radio. But his communications skills needs a lot of improvement. He did not tell us where we were going and what will happen next. The first lunch stop was totally unnecessary. Who eats lunch at 4 pm? Because of that we missed the bird trip at Lake Navisha.

5 day safari in Kenya
2/5

Masai mara is fantastic but the travel by car, picking up people and dropping them in places we didnt need to go to, took to much time from our 5 day safari.

I would not use this company again
2/5

I did not enjoy my safari with this company. The schedule they give you is not the actual schedule you will do. Once they have your money and you are actually on safari, your driver will tell you that the schedule the company gives you doesn’t actually matter. Most days, I would spend about 2 hours actually doing safari stuff (though some days would be more). The rest of the day would typically be spent in a cramped van driving to pick up new passengers. The drivers don’t actually work for the company, they are more like free-lance drivers that take people from different companies. The drivers want to get the most people so they can get more money. So you will drive to place 1, then to place 2, and then back to place 1 to pick up more people. Thus, you spend a lot of time driving the same highways (not on safari) to get more people. When I emailed and complained about this, they replied by stating, “Kindly have the spirit of adventure.” Driving back and forth on the same road in a cramped van is not the “spirit of adventure” I envisioned for my safari. I would use another company, or I would consider just heading to Nairobi and negotiating a much better price there. If I would have done that, I would have saved a ton of money and probably had a better experience.
