Best First Safari Experience
5/5

Jael from Jacmiya Safaris was extremely communicative from day one. They reminded us about visa and vaccination requirements, and even checked whether we actually needed a visa (we didn’t). They crafted a Masai Mara-only itinerary at the exact duration and budget we wanted. When our accommodation at Zebra Plains turned out too cramped and stuffy, we shared with Jael and had a room upgrade as a solution within the hour.

Evans, our guide, made our safari truly special. He personalized the entire experience, making sure we saw not just the Big 5 but also hippos and crocodiles — animals we specifically wanted to see beyond the usual checklist. He stayed in constant contact with other guides to track sightings, which meant we made the most of every drive. During the Great Migration, he went beyond just wildebeest, giving us multiple chances to see zebra crossings too. Beyond the animals, Evans was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing facts about Kenya plants, medicinal herbs and birds that gave us a full safari experience, not just a wildlife-spotting one.

Overall, Jacmiya Safaris is a truly reliable agency that delivered the best possible first safari experience for us. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend both them and Evans to anyone planning a trip to the Masai Mara.

This safari tour is perfect
5/5

Overivew: This is tour satisfied our all request
Tour in safari: we target to see animals as many as possible since this is the first time here, our guide Joshua did a great job, we saw big five, ugly five and some animals we were instead in.
Arrangement: we start from Anboseli to Naiwasha, Nakuru, at least Masai Mara, the arrangement is good for animal watching and very flexible. Our agent Jeal is considerable and easy to communicate.
Hotel: we stay in 5 hotels this time, the overall experience: nakuru sopa, ol tukai, muthu resort, enkorok camp and mara sopa lodge, among these muthu and nakuru sopa dont have hot water in evening, the facility and environment are good, mara sopa service is not as good as expected. Food is all okay. satisfied.

Unforgettable Safari Experience
5/5

We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience, and a huge part of it was thanks to our amazing guide, Joshua. He was incredibly caring, reliable, patient, and professional, and he was also funny and great company throughout the entire trip. He knows an incredible amount about wildlife and could identify and tell us about all kinds of animals, from the most iconic species to the harder-to-spot ones.

Joshua also has an amazing eye for wildlife. He was often the first guide in the area to spot rare and hard-to-find animals, thanks to his incredible experience and sharp eyesight. We always felt that we were in very good hands with him, and he consistently went the extra mile to find the best viewing opportunities while making sure we were comfortable.

Thanks to Joshua, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and the Ugly Five, witness a spectacular river crossing, and encounter an incredible variety of wildlife, including rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, and many other species. His knowledge of the animals and the ecosystem made every sighting even more fascinating.

As for the hotels, Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli was excellent and definitely one of the highlights. It has one of the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and you can even spot animals in the distance from the lodge.

The hotels in Naivasha and Nakuru had some issues with hot water supply in the evenings, so I would recommend showering as soon as you arrive or waiting until the morning. Muthu Lake Naivasha is conveniently located, close to the boating area and Hell’s Gate. You can see hippos, zebras, and giraffes very close to the hotel, which was a really nice experience. Nakuru Sopa Lodge is a bit far from the main attractions, but the views are fabulous. The hotel is quite new, and both the dinner and breakfast were really good.

The hotels in Masai Mara (Mara Sopa Lodge) were very busy, as expected during the peak safari season. Hot water was provided according to a schedule, so it was manageable. However, the service was just average.

Overall, this was truly an unforgettable safari journey. Seeing so many incredible animals in their natural habitat, experiencing the river crossing, and having such a knowledgeable, caring, humorous, and reliable guide made the whole trip incredibly special.

A huge thank you to Joshua for making this safari such a memorable experience! 🦁🐘🦏🦛🐊

The tour agent Fred and guide nickson were incredibly thoughtful and patient; they waited for us for
5/5

I highly recommend Jacmiya Safaris to anyone planning a Kenya safari.
The communication was smooth and responsive from pre-trip planning all the way until the end of our journey. What impressed us most was their outstanding reliability and thoughtful service. Special mention goes to our agent Fred and our guide Nickson. On our arrival day, our flight suffered a long delay. Fred and Nickson waited patiently for us for three hours without any complaints. When we mentioned we were hungry, they kindly helped us buy lunch to recharge.

Guide Nickson looked after every member of our group attentively and cared about everyone’s needs. If anyone felt unwell, he would take us to the pharmacy and even buy medicine for us.

The itinerary was well-planned, and Nickson had excellent wildlife knowledge. He always tried his best to locate animals during game drives. We witnessed countless amazing wildlife encounters including elephants, zebras and other savanna creatures. We believe this tour offers fantastic value for money, with transparent arrangements and no hidden charges.

Unfortunately, adjustments had to be made to our schedule due to the flight delay, leaving us with limited safari time. We only managed two game drives in the private wildlife sanctuary next to Salt Lick Safari Lodge. We were a little disappointed that we ultimately could not visit Tsavo West National Park as we expected.

The team remained flexible and caring whenever we had small requests. If you want a trustworthy operator who treats guests sincerely, choose Jacmiya Safaris.

We did a 6-day safari in Kenya, visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, and Tsavo. The experience was amazing! We encountered all the animals we had hoped to see and enjoyed some incredible landscapes. Our guide, Sam, was awesome, and all the lodges were great, even better than we initially expected. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it!
