Professional, friendly, accommodating and easy delivery of a perfect bucket-list holiday
After a huge amount of planning and delayed arrangements, due to Covid-19, my girlfriend and I were FIANLLY able to depart on our holiday of a lifetime.
George had been exceptionally professional and diligent in his planning and communication throughout the process and this did not falter despite the global pandemic. Only a week prior to departing, my girlfriends' dream came true when we were contacted by Giraffe Manor, informing us that a room had become available. At the drop of a hat, George managed to rearrange the later parts of our trip to accommodate this very late change in plan. For this reason alone, I cannot thank, nor recommend, Right Choice in any higher way. For 4 years, we had a solid plan, booked into hotels and a clear schedule in place. Only a week before departure, George had rearranged our last 3 days. This is proof enough that he, and all the staff at Right Choice, go above and beyond in their customer service.
We arrived in Nairobi and we were taken, by taxi, to our hotel. The hotel was beautiful and every single member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing day, prior to departure on the safari.
The following day we met our guide for the safari, Sami. Without a doubt, a good guide will make or break your safari experience and Sami was incredible. We made our way to the Maasai Mara. We arrived at the first hotel (Keekorok Lodge) which, whilst stunning, was the most basic of the hotels we stayed in. All the staff here, again, were amazing. The rooms did need some TLC but it was plenty good enough. The next 3 days were a blur. Early starts, hot air balloon rides and such an amazing abundance of perfect, beautiful wildlife, we were in awe. Sami made sure that we were able to see everything and more and, unlike several other guides, he was wonderfully respectful of the wildlife. This is something which we would have wanted but it was clear that Sami loved and appreciated the wildlife as much as we did.
We left Keekorok Lodge and went to Lake Nukuru. The hotel was just breath-taking. Here we saw the missing piece of our Big 5, both the Black and White Rhino. The huge amount of different and amazing birds which were easily spotted could have upstaged the wildlife.
Amboselli? Yet again, the hotel and national park were just perfect. We had seen all the wildlife that we thought possible however this park kept on delivering the surprises.
The last stage of the safari presented the most perfect hotel on the safari; Kilaguni Safari Lodge. This hotel was beyond all comprehension and the watering hole, visited by all sorts of wildlife (elephant, giraffe, zebra etc) was just the most mind-blowing experience whilst we ate.
We departed and stayed for a night at Giraffe Manor which needs no review. Its just another moment in a bucket-list experience and was yet another unique experience.
Finally, we had an internal flight to Mombasa, for the Baobab Beach Resort. Again, another great hotel and a wonderful moment to relax before coming home.
Overall, the holiday was nothing but a bucket-list experience delivered with professionalism and ease. George could not have been any more caring, delivering an amazing level of customer service. Sami was the perfect guide for the trip. Whilst Keekorok Lodge needed some minor repairs, it did not disappoint. Every person we encountered were determined to deliver the most amazing holiday for us.
I would recommend that people understand how the hotels work as we didnt realise that we needed to pay for all our drinks and thought that they were included with our package. They werent. This had absolutely no impact on our holiday and is no problem whatsoever, its just something to be aware of.
We cant thank George or Sami enough for everything that they did. We have been recommending this exact holiday, Right Choice and Sami, to many people since we returned. Communication and service was excellent throughout. Yes, this is an expensive holiday but it really is a bucket-list experience.

Definitely the Right Choice
Read about right choice tours on safari bookings and started communicating with them. Very prompt and efficient service from george. They were able to offer us the package that we wanted and at the most competitive price. Without even talking to them on phone - all arrangements were done on emails quite efficiently. They were even helpful in planning a tour for us in Nairobi city (giraffe centre and elephant orphanage) in addition to our 3 day all inclusive Masai mara safari
George who was our guide and driver for the three days was very knowledgeable and made sure that we had an amazing time in all our safari runs over the course of three days. Well versed with English so no communication issues whatsoever.
Would highly recommend their services.

We were a family group of seven adults on tour to Masai Mara National park in August 2022. George arranged a Toyota Land Cruiser with Joshua on the wheels. George was very professional and prompt to respond.
We found Joshua an excellent guide who would take us to the wild life i.e. Lions Leopard Cheetah Elephants wild Buffaloes Crocodiles Hippos etc etc. Though we failed to find out Rhino inspite of all the efforts of our guide yet we enjoyed our game safaris. Joshua was always punctual and helpful to our demands and needs.

Big thanks to all at Right choice for the wonderful safari we had ending 9 August. Jakob was a perfect host – his knowledge of the animals and the parks really added to the experience. He was an amazing driver: safe and quick and with not a single pot hole or speedbump surprised him. And he was an ideal companion for our entire trip.

Highly recommend!
This was the second time we had traveled to Kenya with Right Choice Safari. George, the agency owner, is very professional, quick to respond and accomodating. He was able to modify our itinerary multiple times due to Covid related issues, baggage loss, flight cancelations. He made himself available at all times when we had a question, before, during and after the trip.
Our tour guides were professional and accomodating. They all spoke great English and had studied tourism.
George coordinated the delivery of my mom's luggage that was misplaced by the airline.
We would definitely travel with Right Choice Safari again!

Highly recommended your operator
I was a little hesitant at booking a 7 day tour solely with a company online and I do t regret it at all! The company were very responsive to all of my questions and tailored an itinerary to for with our flights. We opted for right choice safaris to organise use the accommodation for the first night in Nairobi, in hindsight I’d probably book this element myself but the rest of the accommodation was superb - particularly Entim Camp in the Masai Mara, what a setting, and then Cliff Lodge at Lake Nakauru - sadly only one night at the lake, i would recommend at least two here and at least three in the Masai Mara! Our tour guide, Apollo, was great - so experienced and knew where to go and when, we were up early each morning and saw some amazing sights. The company requested a deposit on line and then we paid the rest in cash on arrival - Apollo was there to pick us up at the airport and took us to the company office to pay the balance before dropping us at the Nairobi hotel for the night. We were collected the next morning for the adventure to begin! If we book a safari in the future, I would definitely turn to this company first. They genuinely tailor the itinerary to suit your requests and answer all the questions you may have!

Outstanding quality for price
My wife and I traveled to Kenya and Tanzania for a 10 day safari with 1 day spent in Nairobi. After extensive research and getting different quotes from other tour agencies, Right Choice provided the best price while maintaining quality accommodation. From start to finish George was always available to answer any and all of my many questions, as well as helping us plan our anniversary trip to our liking. We were able to select the tour we wanted and change some of the accommodations to fit what we were looking for. We were able to see and experience Masai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli, Tarangire, and so much more. What an incredible experience! So grateful to the team at Rightchoice
My wife and I just returned from a 12 day safari organized by George and the team at Rightchoice Safaris. Our experience was … one of the very best travel experiences we ever had.
First the planning: George was incredibly easy to work with. We communicated first by email and then over WhatsApp as the dates firmed up. We knew very little about what to expect and followed all of George’s recommended itinerary. It turned out perfectly- each park gave us a different experience and the amount of time George recommended was exactly what we needed.
The accommodation choices were beyond our expectations. The parks included: masai mara, nakaru, naivasha, amboselli, tsavo east and west.
Finally, a word about our guide Ken: it was hard to say goodbye!! Ken seemed to have a 6th sense both for the kind of experience my wife and I were looking for but also for the parks and animals themselves. Ken’s quiet enthusiasm, love and respect for the animals was clear. He was respected by his peers and at times it seemed like even the animals seemed to welcome his presence!
We will miss Ken’s friendly and easy going nature but only until we come back and book again. Highly recommend Rightchoice Safari and our guide Ken - we will definitely be booking again.

Amazing company who will go above and beyond
I would highly recommend this company!
Pre-covid we had started to plan our safari with George but sadly due to the pandemic we had to rearrange multiple times.
Initially we had planned a tour of Kenya and Tanzania, finishing in Zanzibar but because of the unknown covid situation in Tanzania we decided to change our plans to just Kenya finishing in Diani Beach.
George was incredibly helpful at suggesting alternatives based on what we wanted to see/experience and then organising our new itinerary.
The website has some suggested safari plans but they will alter any parts around your personal preferences.
Even after rearranging 3 times, George stuck with our original price range.
Prices are very reasonable and I was much happier booking with a local company rather than going through an UK/European company where most of the money would not have made it to Kenya!
When we finally set off on our trip sadly 2 of the family group had to fly home for health reasons. George and his team were incredibly helpful organising their return flights, extra nights at the hotel in Nairobi and transfer back to the airport.
Eventually we set off on our safari, only 2 years delayed! We started with a day in Nairobi at the Giraffe centre and elephant orphanage, afternoon relaxing at the hotel followed by dinner at the Carnivore restaurant.
We then travelled to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Ol Pejeta, Aberdare, Amboseli, Tsavo West and East then finished in Diani for 5 nights of all inclusive at the beach resort.
Our driver, Ken, was brilliant! So informative about all the animals and he must have super human eye sight as he could spot a leopard a mile off!
We decided to upgrade to the Jeep for our trip and we are so glad we did. A lot of the roads are very bad! Especially in Masai Mara. They call it the African massage but at times it was like wip lash! It's definitely worth having the Jeep for comfort over some of the trickier terrain.
If you're wanting a personalised safari in Kenya, this is the company. I felt like there was nothing they wouldn't do to help us.
