Excellent! Amazing guide and amazing trip!
5/5

Safari Multiways was above and beyond expected! They made our trip so easy for us. They set up all our stays at nice lodges, took care of park fees. All this was included in our safari package. Our driver/guide Amos was wonderful! He was patient with us if we wanted to stop and look at animals longer and his eyes were like binoculars! I was amazed at how he could spot animals so far away! We got lucky because of him and saw the big 5! He even taught us how to take a picture with our phone through our binoculars! He was very knowledgeable about the parks and all the animals! Best trip we've ever taken!

My boyfriend and I embarked on a five-day safari booked through Safari Multiways. Our guide Kappia was very knowledgeable and great about managing our expectations (which were more often than not exceeded!) Our first day in the Serengeti we saw the Big 5 before noon (although the rhino only from a great distance.) Kappia even spotted a serval lying down in tall grass while driving. The accommodations ranged from good to great. Overall we were very happy with the trip.

We start to talk with Safarimultiways 3 months before the trip. Romeo theowner always reply in a fast and helpfull way. The Tour was great, the car and the local guide (Omar) and the chef (Mose) also. Thanks to our driver we saw all the big 5 and so many cats. the food was great and they take care of us for all the trip. we are so happy about our choice. We really advice them as a very good tour operator in Tanzania.

First safari experience
4/5

This was my first safari of my life. I was always fascinated for going on a safari after watching wildlife shows in NatGeo and Discovery. Safari had always been on my list.
I was new to the city and didn't knew where to approach for a safari trip. Then a friend of mine recommended me to go for Safari Multiways for a lifetime experience and truly it was!
The package consisted of two days and three nights package for Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Our first day was a visit to Tarangire National Park. We were greeted by Omari. He was extremely polite and friendly guide. He picked us from the hotel in Arusha. It was a 3 hours long drive to Tarangire.
3 Hours later, we entered Tarangire National Park, the land of Elephants. As safari was in progress, I couldn't believe that it was real. The special moment was the chase!
In day 2, we reached Ngorongoro Crater. It was nature at the best. The best moment was lion passing right beside our jeep. I will never forget this moment in my life!
The hotels and its ambience was excellent. Kudos to our guide Omari for making this safari a memorable one.

Beyond expectation

Safari Multiways is responsive, accommodating and understanding. I have to change flights and dates so many times, Romeo is always there listening, revising and re-scheduling even down to the last hour before departure. The safari tour itself is amazing. Our tour guide Lawrence knows his way around animals and parks. Our cook Vincent ever caters to our taste. The two of them ensured our well-been while showing us the beauty of Africa with all it offers: animals, Masai people, savanna and the crater etc. My sister and I get to live six unforgettable days in our lives, all thanks to Safari Multiways and Lawrence and Vincent.

We had a great safaritrip, but there some points to improve
4/5

The communicatie before we came to Tanzania was good. Paying the bill with their payment system is costly
(10%). You better pay with your own bankaccount.
We did the trip with basic camp. It was very nice to camp in the national parcs, and Fanakacamping was good. Multiways didin't have good chairs compared with other company"s. Also the tents smells stale. Multiways must improve this points.
The Management of Serengetiparc en Gnorognoro crater didin't clean there buidings on the campings very well. It was very dirty. We abhors that. This problem must be solved by the Management of the Serengeti and Gnorognoro and all the safaricompany's from Arusha must tell this to the management. That is the only way to achieve clean buildings.
But the guide of Multiways -safari was our best man. We had the best places to watch the animals. We have seen a lot. We had had a great safari. Also the food was good.

Great tour through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire
5/5

We did a 5 day camping safari with Safari Multiways. We got perfect communication by email with Romeo. He replied very fast to any question or anything I asked for, so I had a really good feeling in advance. This was topped when we where in Tanzania. Airport transfer worked perfect, we talked to Romeo the next morning and shortly after the safari starts with our guide Amos and the cook Moses. The two guys are a dream team. Amos spotted every animal we wanted to see and Moses cooked really really good food!
We saw the great migration and a lot of cats and other animals. All in all it was the perfect trip and we will think and dream about this for our whole life. Don't think twice - DO IT!

Karibu Tanzania
5/5

We just returned from a 2 week Safari from Kenya & Tanzania, a departure from the standard 1 country safari norm. July 8-13 in Kenya and 13-21 in Tanzania.

The Tanzania part was handled by Safari Multiways. For the trip we were mentored by Mr Jyotinath Ganguly who had travelled with SM in 2014 and strongly recommended them. We stuck to Safari Multiways and did not go to any other operator and we are glad that we got over that very tricky part of TO selection effortlessly.

After 5 days in Kenya we left Masai Mara early morning and crossed over at Isebania-Sirari border to be greeted by a cheerful Driver/Guide Nassari who had positioned himself at Tarime after driving in the previous day from Arusha. The drive from Mara to Isebania took 4hrs and from Sirari to North Serengeti Camp another 4+ hrs. Entry to Serengeti via Tabora B Gate.

But for Migori-Isebania and Sirari-Tarime which is tarmac, the entire stretch is gravel which only a 4x4 could negotiate. Inspite of the 9/10 hrs drive from Mara to Serengeti on some very rough roads we arrived at destination in fine fettle.

Our TZ itinerary was- 2 nights at Serengeti North Wilderness Camp at North Serengeti, 3 nights at Kati Kati at Central Serengeti, 1 night at Rhino Lodge at Ngorongoro, 2 nights at Nasikia Ndovu tented camp at Tarangire. The staff at all the camps worked very hard to deliver, from hot showers to dining they were up to the task.

Tarangire to JRO airport with a pit stop at SM Office near the clock tower at Arusha to say hello to Romeo and then we were in the flight back home after an exhilarating experience in that wonderland.

Animal sightings, River Crossings, Bird sightings, Sunset viewing was excellent, only thing missed was a kill that too by a whisker but we did see a lioness dragging the booty immediately after a kill. Afternoons being hot in Central Serengeti game drives was not undertaken from 1-3pm.

Would recommend Romeo and his team without hesitation, they are honest, transparent and reliable. No aggressive marketing, stuck to the basics and delivered a memorable Safari.

Tailor made tanzania safari
5/5

We booked with Safari Multiways because of the reviews and they didn't disappoint. My friend and I had a fantastic camping safari. We were just the one vehicle with our driver/guide and our cook.
We had requested a safari that included as much wildlife as possible, the Serengeti, and the Mara River. We got it all. For the 10 days of pick up from the airport to drop off we were excellently taken care of with no worries. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and capable, answering all our questions and driving safely. Our cook prepared 3 delicious and tasty meals each day, keeping our stomachs full and happy. These two gentlemen were a pleasure to ride with and gt to know.
As one lone vehicle it was relaxing to know that the 1700 km traversed would be safe, exciting, and amazing. We saw so many animals and birds. Each day was a huge imax screen of real life. Tremendous. We want to do it all again!

All round great Northern Circuit safari
5/5

We went on a 13 day, private, budget camping safari of the Tanzania Northern Circuit in June with Safari Multiways. We were a group of three with rather differing safari experience - one of us had never been to Africa, one of us had been on many safaris previously but not done the NC before, and I had done the NC several times before.

With Romeo's (the owner) help, we organised a partially customised itinerary that suited our previous experiences:
Starting from Arusha with a day trip to Arusha NP,
Manyara NP (one day)
Ngorogoro Crater (three nights with two trips into the crater and a walking safari to Empakai)
Serengeti NP (three nights)
Lake Natron, with waterfall walk
Tarangire NP, staying in Tarangire Safari Lodge

The communication with Romeo before and during the safari was excellent. But the most important factors in the success of our safari were;
1) the skill and adaptability of Amos, our guide. He had a great eye and was very patient, e.g. he spotted a leopard on the prowl and was the only guide to stick with it, and we eventually saw it stalking and hunting Tommies. We are keen birders and he was keen to help us build our list, spotting and stopping for random birds between and within parks (for the birders, we got a list of 329 sp, inc. my highlights of African Broadbill and Grey-Crested Helmetshrike).

2) the guide and the owner were really flexible about our itinerary, allowing us to modify our itinerary mid-trip. I had booked two days in Ngorogoro Crater to maximise chances of seeing Black Rhino, but Amos was the first guide to spot it on our first day and so we were able to move on to Serengeti sooner than planned.
3) the owner puts NO restrictions on mileage. I didn’t even think that this would happen on a safari as you always drive tens of km in a park without noticing. Many companies put a limit of 50-60km per day. This is nothing is the Wildebeest are in the other side of the park. We were able to travel right to the Kenyan border to see the migration – this is rare.

4) Last, but clearly the most important, was the cook, Moses. He was friendly and fun, and consistently produced great food, even in remote places, and even when left on his own for 13 hrs (with only rampaging baboons for company!).

We were a tough group to please since we had such a mix of experiences, and two keen birders and one Big Fiver. But Amos and co managed to please us all. I have done lots of safaris in the past (inc. the NC again the following two weeks) and have never seen so much. Final total 50 mammals (inc. several leopard, serval, cheetah and Bat eared fox) sightings, 329 birds.

I totally recommend this company for all round organisation, great guiding and cook.
