Deposits & Final Payment
To confirm your booking with Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris, a 30% deposit is required at the time of reservation. This deposit is used to secure your accommodations, transportation, and other services. The remaining 70% must be paid either 30 days prior to your arrival or in cash upon arrival.
Please note: All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and at Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris, we aim to be as flexible as possible. In the event you need to cancel your tour, we kindly request written notice of cancellation.
Before applying cancellation charges, we will make every effort to negotiate with our suppliers (particularly accommodations) to secure a credit note or voucher. This would allow you to postpone your safari to a later date, using the same deposit paid. However, if the suppliers are unwilling to provide this flexibility, the following cancellation fees will apply:

30 – 35 days Loss of Deposit
28 – 7 days 100% of Total Tour Cost*
*The remaining balance can be paid via your original payment method or in cash upon arrival.
Note: Cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice.
Force Majeure
We cannot accept liability or offer compensation for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to): war, government actions, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics, weather disruptions, transportation delays, or any similar events.
Travel Insurance
Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris does not provide travel insurance. All clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance in their home country. Your insurance should cover:
Medical treatment
Emergency evacuation
Repatriation
Trip cancellations
Personal loss or damage
Travel delays and inconveniences
Ensure your insurance provider is aware of the nature of your trip to guarantee appropriate coverage.
Liability
Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay resulting from:
Actions or negligence of the client
Events caused by third parties not connected to our services
Situations arising from force majeure circumstances
