Amazing. I loved the caves. The scenery is amazing.

The park is visually stunning, it is lush and green in sharp contrast to the Tsavo park around it (Chyulu hills was carved out of Tsavo East National Park in 1983)

The key feature for me was the caves, I suggest you take the full cave exploration gear. You'll be in for a treat!

The roads and picnic areas need some work, as you can see from my video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRbFEV3Udb0&list=UUH0IxvbBJ_oNzdwSzBy6uVQ&index=1&feature=plcp ) , grass covers the road and the pollen gets into your radiator and can cause the engine to overheat, cover the grill with netting, (a mosquito net will do) and you should be fine.

The park does not provide camping gear, the netting or cave exploration gear so come prepared with your own.

Not much animals here (due to the fact that the Chyulu hills were only "created" about 500 years ago during the latest volcanic eruptions there is no water - rivers have yet to form), however, this is the park with the best scenery of the whole of Kenya.
