After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive two hours to Tarangire, known for its giant baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Enjoy a full day game drive where you’ll see elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and possibly lions and leopards. Picnic lunch will be served in the park overlooking wildlife by the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.

Today’s journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands en route to Serengeti. On arrival, begin your game drive across the endless plains, home to lions, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you might catch part of the Great Migration. Picnic lunch will be served en route. Continue game viewing until evening before heading to your Serengeti lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day on safari in Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Early morning is perfect for predator sightings, while midday offers encounters with herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Your guide will take you across different habitats, open plains, acacia woodlands, and rivers, maximizing wildlife opportunities. Picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with afternoon exploration. Return to your Serengeti camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro for a descent into the crater. Enjoy a half day game drive in this unique ecosystem, home to elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Drop off at your hotel or airport marks the end of your safari.
