Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning, your safari adventure begins as our guide collects you from your Arusha lodging. We journey toward Tarangire National Park, following smooth tarmac roads across the gently rolling Maasai plains, dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you’ll notice Maasai people in their vibrant attire, some walking beside the road, others herding cattle, riding bicycles, or guiding donkey carts. Soon, Tarangire welcomes us with its famous elephant herds and diverse wildlife. From the open roof of our modern safari jeep, we explore sweeping savannas, lush seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Here, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and elephant thrive, while predators such as lions or leopards may reveal themselves—whether on the prowl or resting in the treetops. After an unforgettable game drive filled with sights, sounds, and wilderness encounters, we head to your lodge where dinner and overnight rest await.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we set out for the Lake Ndutu region, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and forming part of the vast southern Serengeti ecosystem. The journey takes about 3 hours, unfolding through scenic vistas of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Ndutu itself, alkaline like many other Rift Valley lakes, is a magnet for diverse wildlife that thrives along its shores. Upon arrival, we embark on a rewarding game drive across the Ndutu plains, renowned from December to April as the heart of the wildebeest migration. During this season, immense herds gather here, offering one of nature’s most spectacular displays. As the afternoon draws to a close, we continue with a final game drive before heading to your lodge. There, a warm dinner awaits, followed by an overnight stay, ensuring you are well rested for the adventures ahead.

Day 4
South Serengeti (Ndutu)
South Serengeti (Ndutu)
After a nourishing breakfast, we set off for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region, renowned for its diverse habitats—swamps, woodlands, soda lakes, and the legendary Serengeti short-grass plains. Here, we witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebra roaming in breathtaking numbers. Around January, during a brief window of about three weeks, this area becomes the stage for one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the calving season. Nearly half a million wildebeest are born in a remarkable act of synchronized birthing. With little cover on the open plains, newborn calves must quickly adapt; within minutes they stand and run, and by the third day, they are usually strong enough to keep pace with the herd. After this incredible day of wildlife adventure across the “Endless Plains,” we return to our lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5
Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) and journey toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. From above, the Crater appears like a hidden paradise, encircled by dramatic volcanic walls that shelter vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, sparkling lakes, and swamps. Formed two to three million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, this natural wonder is often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden.”
Descending into the Crater is a thrilling experience, and once on the floor, you’ll be surrounded by an astonishing density of wildlife—wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. The Crater also offers one of the best opportunities to encounter the rare black rhino grazing in the open plains.
After spending the afternoon exploring this extraordinary ecosystem, you will continue your journey back to Arusha and proceed to your pre-booked accommodation.
